[1.0] "A common refrain I find myself saying when looking back at Roman's career is that "it could've been, and should've been, much better", and at no time was it truer than in this match. The clash of the Samoan Joes had the potential, but ultimately, ended with a heatless match with a crowd hostile to its existence. No wonder all you could hear was the "beat the traffic" chants."

[4.0] "The match itself was largely fine but for what has now become a tradition on AEW TV, the male ROH champions dont appear on their own show but they can appear on AEW TV to lose. Why should anyone care about TKROH when this is all they do? They spent so much time hyping up this mystery group who all largely colossally lose. Roderick has already been champion for nearly a month with no defense in sight either. Completely avoidable and awful booking."

[3.0] "It truly is hard for Daniel Bryan to have a bad match, but this is probably a contender for his worst one. Despite what his iron-man performance in Saudi Arabia two weeks prior would've had you believe, he's still having to shake some of the ring rust away. Coupled with a Big Cass who had been meandering since he split from Enzo (resulting, once again, in two Janettys) and going through a bunch of issues, then you've got a recipe for a really mediocre match. Perhaps his release a month later was a blessing in disguise, because he's clearly grown into a serviceable powerhouse since then, and I'd love to see a Danielson v. Morrissey match some time down the line, just to prove it was circumstance, and not the talent, that made this match bad."

[5.0] "This was more about the after-match shenanigans than the wrestling itself, so I felt better afterward than the rating implies. Still, from bell to bell, not a lot of time. Uso played his hits. Bummer to see Shinsuke get reduced to quasi-jobber status after that banger of a world title program he had with Seth Rollins last year."

[7.0] "When Bronson Reed bleeds his own blood, he eats it. Alrighty then. The big man laid down some thunderous chops and increased his iron content, while Sami sold like gumby and continues to tell a fine story heading into his 'Mania match with GUNTHER."

[7.0] "Sneaky good booking to have Vinci face Andrade - the former is obviously going to eat a pinfall, but a loss won't hurt him and he was a great ring partner to the talented luchador. They made the most out of the time they were given."

[7.0] "Started off with Steen doing comedy bits before it turned into more of what you would expect from these two with some good striking. Overall a pretty solid match."

[9.0] "A match that captured the magic of the old KENTA, while showcasing why ZSJ is so great, all in the magic of the G1. 4.5 Stars."

[6.0] "It is difficult for these tag teams to put on a bad match even given undesirable circumstances, but they didn't get enough time to really cook and it showed in their work. The booking is weird here; why not let these two put on a banger and have Judgment Day show up after a pinfall? The 'Mania ladder match doesn't need much to hype it up, but still disappointing to not let these folks show what they are capable of."

[7.0] "A pretty fun way to close the show, in my opinion. This is just like the opening match, where it was a very strong 7/10 (AKA 3.75/5 or 7.5/5). That counter from Bron as Akira dove off the top rope was actually crazy, as was Bron & Baron putting Otis through the table."

[9.0] "Another great Ospreay match in AEW that featured a lot of puro vibes because of Shibata. They went all in with the strikes and in the end with the no sell (they could have done it before in the match since I particularly like no-selling) and it led to a strong win by Ospreay who is now looking very good and ready to face the Dragon. ****1/2"

[5.0] "A nice little showcase match, Tigre Uno almost died on the dive to the outside holy shit. That took me out a little bit but this was fun"

[9.0] "This ruled harder than a schoolmarm's wrist shot in a dreary classroom. These two were born to wrestle each other, exhibiting excellent chemistry and moving smoothly together. The camerawork was also on point. The avalanche poisonrana made my jaw drop. Ricochet kicking out after eating knees to his springboard 450 had me hootin' and hollerin'. His destroyer was breathtaking. I have never seen a shooting star crossbody before. Bravo, gentlemen, bravo."

[6.0] "I thought the match was okay. Lawler is a good opponent for Mankind because he naturally draws heat from the crowd, who was starting to get behind Foley's misunderstood character. Lawler is a very old school wrestler to watch, which can sometimes be hit and miss in this era, but he does some solid work here where he consistently targets Mankind's ear. They never show what Lawler's hidden weapon is supposed to be on camera. I'd say my main problem really was that I thought he was in control for too long. No matter who he's wrestling, Foley is a man who takes a tumble and they always look like they hurt! The crowd stay behind him throughout and JR's call when Lawler gets caught in the Mandible Claw was pure gold."

[4.0] "And as much as AJ was on fire, the OC were barely smouldering. The signing of Gallows and Anderson, with their New Japan pedigree alongside AJ, was a welcome surprise, and the OC/Enzo, Cass and Cena feud was fun, this was probably the first sign that Karl and Luke - Luke especially - were riding on AJ's coattails. Poor match."

20:37
[9.0] "They are both working all over the legs but due to her strength & experience, Tomoka's kicks/work hurts Azusa more so she has the advantage and gets more offense. It played a part in the entire match and the selling was top-notch. Great performance by both"

20:35
[4.0] "doomed from the start. the two tried there hardest but this was not anything of note besides being the 1st women's championship match. furthers my belief wwww should not be doing shows here if its gonna dampen the product and the stars because it is very obvious this could have been waaaaaaayyyy better. hope they got another match after this somehwere else"

[9.0] "An excellent match all around, a slow start but once it picks up speed it feels relentless. The story of a hurt Kawada being picked apart by Otani, but rallying and just beating Otani to the point where hes actively trying to escape into the ropes blindly is beautiful. Kawada sells like only he can really, he carries across the pain of a man who is visibly hurt but conditioned to limit how much he feels, Otani also does an excellent job of selling the brutal offence at the end. Honestly this is peak levels of Kawada for me, ending matches with stiff kicks to the head is always satisfying in a sadistic kind of way."

[9.0] "The Styles/Cena feud of 2016 and early 2017 was probably the best of both mens' career, and given AJ's illustrious TNA career and Cena's reign as the Face That Runs The Place, that's saying something. Whilst I personally would rate the Royal Rumble match higher, Styles in full #BeatUpJohnCena mode was a joy to behold. Cena himself is no slouch either, and with the pressures of being the Ace taken off him, like the US Open Challenge before and his SmackDown run after this match, you can tell he trulyy is enjoying himself."

[4.0] "This match was dogshit, It's a tornado tag and you can tell the fans were expecting a weapons brawl but that simply didn't happen. Instead it was slow boring wrestling."

[2.0] "there was some wrestling and the crowd had some sparks of life for roman. these two are good wrestlers by themselves but just do not have chemistry together. apparently they've been having an awful feud months before this? what was wrong with wwe, this brought nothing to either people and is comparable to the terrible wrestlemania 2 steel cage match. no story telling in the ring and this went on way longer than needed"
22228.03.2024
20:30
[6.0] "This match seriously is not as bad as i remembered it. This is my first time watching it in a few years and i actually enjoyed this match alot and what these guys got in. Idk why but i remembered taker squashing bray a lil here and it being shorter but no it wasnt that at all bray got plenty of offense and it was back and fourth for a while there i did actually enjoy this match quite a bit. 2.75 stars"

[9.0] "One of the biggest surprises of 2022, let alone this PPV, was just how good Logan Paul is. When this match was announced, I truly thought this was going to be an incredibly weak celebrity involvement match to keep the wheels turning until Mania, and let me tell you, I have never been so happy to have been so wrong. Logan proved that he was in the business for keeps, not just for attention, and if this was a baptism of fire, he came out smelling like roses (are my metaphors getting confused here? ). Some of the best wrestling matches are those in which you are able to suspend your disbelief, and whilst just looking at the card you'd think "oh, of course Logan's not going over", in actual fact, he convinced you that he really could."

[7.0] "A nice hard-hitting match here. With the previous confrontation between Briggs, DIJAK, and Oba Femi, it was a little obvious Briggs was winning here. However, that didn't really take away from my enjoyment of this. I'm hoping the Triple Threat at Stand & Deliver ends up being good, because I think the potential is definitely there."
22528.03.2024
20:28
[6.0] "It was a good match, but I found it a bit too confusing and chaotic at times, especially towards the end. Aside from that, it was still a good match due to the quality of the wrestlers and i think the ending was good and didn't hurt Eddie or Chavo."
22628.03.2024
20:26
[6.0] "Another solid match on the show, despite it being on the quicker side. I think this acted as a nice way to build Lorenzo a little bit. I don't know that it's leading to anything in the near future or if it was even fully intentional, but Lorenzo did a nice job here and really held his own."
22728.03.2024
20:24
[5.0] "fine enough. having mansoor be presented as a underdog was stupid cause his victory was all but insured. this just felt like wwe lazily put this together. not worth a rewatch, pretty corny story telling with some decent wrestling"
22828.03.2024
20:23
[8.0] "Very entertaining enjoyable match but i mean name a match that has these 2 guys together in some way that isnt entertaining. I really enjoyed this stuff back when it first aired and always love going back to rewatch this match here. Started out a tad basic and a lil WWE style but about halfway through this match they were really giving us all they got and it was a hell of a match. 4.25 stars"
22928.03.2024
20:18
[4.0] "this is the kind of match where the wrestlers feed off the crowd and holy shit where they dead. the had good chemistry but seemingly questioning themselves."
23028.03.2024
20:18
[5.0] "These early undertaker mania matches really werent the best were they. Not to sure why exactly because taker could always go. Probably becyase some of those things he could do vince and the company didnt think fitted takers character. Might be one of the better early streak matches but thats not saying a lot"
23128.03.2024
20:17
[5.0] "Personally i think this match is pretty good you got all of the basics right here in this match. Not really a match id ever care to give another watch becuase there really was nothing that happened here."
23228.03.2024
20:16
[2.0] "Mamma mia, if you think the feuds that Kofi was pushed into to keep the belt warm for Brock were bad, then that's nothing compared to Seth's "keep the belt warm for Brock" run with the belt in 2019 was. Baron Corbin is a fine enough talent, but does not and had never had main event aura. I've spoken before about WWE's problems with a) booking two world championships correctly and b) giving Seth Rollins the respect he deserves; 2019 was truly a nadir in both respects, with his title run during the time, through Vince being senile, devaluing the red brand's belt and Seth's stock even worse than Rock and Roman were doing just after the 2024 Rumble."
23328.03.2024
20:14
[6.0] "after watching that awful match before, this was a fine watch. not a fan of the ending with the random chair that you didn't even see. also the crowd seemed like they did not care in the slightest. I can still appreciate this but its a skip on the rewatch even being a championship title change"
23428.03.2024
20:12
[6.0] "Good match, Scorpio & Marufuji always have good chemistry and Slinger worked well with Scorpio. The team of Marufuji and Sano is pretty good, but they didn't mesh as well as I had hoped they might have. Sano really feels like he worked better with the heavys at this stage of his career. 3 stars"
23528.03.2024
20:10
[4.0] "The finish is very annoying, and the match went for too long but it isn't that awful. Had LOD won the tag titles it probably would've been fine. It had a hot start but it should've been a bit shorter to keep the momentum. LOD/NAO is a really boring feud to watch"
23628.03.2024
20:06
[5.0] "No matter how over Ahmed was, he just wasn't all that great to watch in the ring. The match isn't too bad though. Hunter's performance was solid and Chyna's distraction on a guy the size of Ahmed was believable enough to work."
23728.03.2024
20:05
[0.0] "this is the kind of stuff you do before the broadcast as a dark match. not something that is ppv or any event worthy. Truth stuff would be cool 10 years before this event aired but at this time he was just the 24/7 champ doing this? Erik Rowan Stuff was weird and the rey Mysterio getting replaced with the undertaker? awful everything. thee most pointless thing you'll ever seen that was only meant to hype up the Saudi crowd with the ending with the undertaker"
23828.03.2024
20:03
[7.0] "[3.5*] Very good match, although I think they gave Sammy too much offense. It was very 50/50 with a lot of big spots for the kid, he even got to do his first ever ear-work and was treated like a legitimate threat on this 16-min match, more time that guys like Takeshita, KOR and DG had with Mox. Mox was not feeling it at all lmfao so he geeked out the guy a couple of times, and these were my favorite moments of the match. At the end of the day I think less would have been more, and a glorified squash + a Sammy comeback sequence with a GTH kickout would have been better."
23928.03.2024
20:03
[8.0] "A fun match with a great finishing sequence with the powerslam reversal from Breakker and the double powerbomb, into Tozawa being speared to death. Wolfdogs are great, don't split them up. 8/10."
24028.03.2024
19:57
[7.0] "Very good hard-hitting junior heavyweight championship match with Kikuchi matching Takaiwa strike for strike, bomb for bomb. Happy that Kikuchi got the chance to challenge Takaiwa, and I'm looking forward to watching Takaiwa/Marufuji next. 3.75 stars"
24128.03.2024
19:56
[6.0] "This was a fairly solid match, in my opinion. I understand the bad feelings about Natalya beating Vice, but I'm just hoping it leads to a little more down the line. What I mean by that is that I'm hoping Vice either gets a win over Natalya in a rematch, or I hope that it leads to Vice getting an even bigger win down the line."
24228.03.2024
19:49
[5.0] "This was a very nothing match with a sloppy ending but nothing like horrible in the ring. A solid 5/10"
24328.03.2024
19:42
[4.0] "A boring and unnecessarily long match without any fire. Some moments tried to be like this, but still looked lazy and uninspiring. Kitamiya and Soya could have done better, but even their part was like the rest of the match. Kondo wasn't memorable, and Inaba is one of the most boring guys in the roster and (very) rarely show what he can really do in terms of emotions."
24428.03.2024
19:39
[6.0] "Had some neat mat-based wrestling to start before going off into a familiar territory of Davey trying to measure up in the striking department but coming up short against the magnitude of Thatcher. Some slight slip-ups in the bridge between the mid-point and the finishing stretch but both men could think on their feet in time to keep the flow going. Thatcher's no-selling was insane at point, not a flinch for multiple stiff shots. [3.25]"
24528.03.2024
19:38
[6.0] "[3.25*] A match that didn't promise much and delivered what it promised, focused 100% on Ospreay's great acrobatic moves and Martinez's impact moves. It was supposed to be a David x Goliath mechanic but it wasn't very well executed when you see that most of Punishment's moves were "acrobatic" and Ospreay also really hurts the match with a weak Selling"
24628.03.2024
19:38
[8.0] "Great match to watch, especially considering both Shibata and Danielson were never supposed to wrestle again, and yet, here we are. Very hard hitting affair that lived up to its expectations. Only thing I noticed was that the crowd was a bit on the quiet side."
24728.03.2024
19:36
[5.0] "I'm probably going to catch some heat for this, but this match wasn't doing it for me. I have no problem with women doing these kinds of matches, but I feel like this wasn't the time to do it in this rivalry. This was only their second one on one matchup with one another, and the stipulation, and the match that followed, seemed like it would end the feud, but as we saw after this, it didn't. As such, it sort of dampens the match's impact, and the match itself, while shocking (which is, I'm sure, what they were going for), seemed like they were throwing together everything they could for shock value. They started at 100 mph and it seemed like they were rushing things, seeing as how the match was only 16 minutes long, and in retrospect, hardcore matches like this in AEW are 30 minute epics. As such, they seemed pressed to just do the most extreme things, and just move on to the next, like they were just going through the motions of pre-planned spots instead of making it feel like a real fight full of hatred and malice. On top of that, I've never really found Britt Baker to be that good of a wrestler; Thunder Rosa outclasses her imo. If you enjoyed this match, that's fine, and I can kind of understand. I just don't see how this match has the same Meltzer star rating (4.75) as the highest rated Kurt Angle match. 3/5"
24828.03.2024
19:32
[5.0] "The Crowd didn't really care, and the WWF didn't either judging by Morton and Gibson coming out to the Rockers old theme, but it was a fairly decent tag match mostly thanks to the Rock and Roll Express being very good at old school tags. It was missing some excitement but its not that bad"
24928.03.2024
19:31
[7.0] "An almost surprisingly good match here. I'm already a big fan of DIJAK, but Spears hasn't been as impressive in the ring, in my opinion. However, this was a nice opener for the show that made both men look really good. Hopefully Spears keeps it up. I also hope that DIJAk wins the North American Title at Stand & Deliver."
25028.03.2024
19:28
[6.0] "An upgrade from their meeting a day ago in Philly. They tried to follow the same format as last time, pitting Koko's quickness against Muraco's strength, but we only got that in the opening minutes. Muraco looked like he was about to explode at any point given how ridiculously big he was here! The Magnificent One used methodical, vicious-looking moves to smartly kill time and slow things down. This led to a super hot Koko comeback sequence where the Toronto crowd was ALL FOR. Just as this was picking up, it ended in an abrupt fashion due to the time limit. You know you are cooked when you are wrestling freakin' Koko B. Ware to a twenty-minute draw. These two are certainly capable of having a satisfactory twenty-minute bout, though it will probably never go beyond that level. Add this to the list of matches I enjoyed from a technical standpoint but never wish to see again. [***]"
25128.03.2024
19:24
[6.0] "This was a professional performance punctuated with a rare case of interference that made sense within the context of the match (in addition to the rivalry). The tornado DDT/spinning DDT combo in quick succession by Trent and Cassidy, respectively, was the most innovative and well-worked spot. But I thought the overall pace was good, and Taven/Bennett did a nice job of exhibiting a sense of enmity toward the Best Friends (Roderick Strong helped with this, as well). Otherwise, it just lacked that little bit of drama and struggle that you'd expect out of higher-rated match. I think it bodes well for the Tag Titles tourney, however, that both matches on this card were solid."
25228.03.2024
19:23
[9.0] "The best macth from wrestlemania 8, this was great, the pace , , psychology an realism of this macth made it a classic, , the finish was well executed from the excellence of exceution"
25328.03.2024
19:20
[4.0] "A weak match with zero interesting interactions. Usually Bane and Wolf can impress with at least one or two spots or interactions with their opponents, and this time there was Kenoh against them, but it felt like their standard match without trying to show something more."
25428.03.2024
19:20
[9.0] "For a match where the outcome was somewhat predictable, I thought this was great. During the climax (i.e., after the final commercial break, during the uninterrupted overrun), I bit hard on the near-falls and counters (several of which were novel ways to escape). Like the Young Bucks match earlier in the night, I've got to applaud both guys in this match for doing some sequences and moves that aren't in their "standard" arsenal. Swerve's spinal tap and the Standing Swerve Stomp were good examples of this, as was Takeshita reversing Big Pressure into a Poisonrana. I especially like that Takeshita seems to be gaining credibility even in his losses (which is a credit to him obviously, but also to the style of matches that Ospreay and Swerve worked with him)."
25528.03.2024
19:19
[5.0] "This was okay, Definitely one of those matches where they were holding a bit back because it was on Main Event"
25628.03.2024
19:14
[7.0] "Maybe a controversial opinion, but this match was good, and that's it. Most of the match was rest holds and sleeper holds. When Davey won with the roll-up, it felt a little out of nowhere, and not in a good way. The crowd was hot all the way through for him, which was really cool to see, and they kind of make up for slow-pacing. If the match was a little faster or shorter, it'd definitely be worthy of an 8/10."
25728.03.2024
19:11
[9.0] "A quintessential 70's brawl, this is Bruno's first match back after Hansen fractured his neck. Although he's not at his peak as the tobacco-spitting cowboy he would become, Hansen was still an excellent heel, switching from brutal attacks to cowardly pleas with ease. This works phenomenally well with Sammartino, the beloved champion of the MSG faithful. Bruno gets his revenge by absolutely leathering Hansen to retain the title. An easy recommendation, especially for those unfamiliar with Sammartino."
25828.03.2024
19:02
[8.0] "Really good opener, that amazing New York crowd was so into John Cena. To me, it may be the best Cena vs Show match ever ( and we saw a ton ). I really like the finish too, Cena doing the you can't see me to the ref when he wanted to cheat with his chain."
25928.03.2024
18:59
[10.0] "Fugo and Sawa go nuclear on each other. The finish is so great, with Fugo absorbing many kicks to the face from Sawa and refusing to let go of Keita until he taps. Tour de force"
26028.03.2024
18:59
[7.0] "Pretty badass. Chigusa has the odds stacked against her as Shark has backup, a flaming stick and her sickle. Chiggy bleeds a lot from the lower back creating a really nasty visual. It's clipped and we don't get all the transitions, but we get enough of the drama and intensity to say for sure that this is a woethy, heated brawl. Finish is sick, it almost looked like Nagayo broke Shark's arm. I know very little about joshi but I know that Chigusa Nagayo is a legend and she carries herself like one."
26128.03.2024
18:54
[10.0] "Amazing, spectacular, awesome, jaw dropping, tremendous match especially the final five minutes where Omega struggled to hit OWA and okada nailing three rainmakers was beautiful professional wrestling. Would have rated it 100 if possible."
26228.03.2024
18:53
[6.0] "Lowest point of the night, but still a watchable match. One just hopes for MJF to return soon so we can wrap up the Undisputed Kingdom storyline even sooner, because there's just no heat behind the Kingdom (plus Wardlow) half of the stable."
26328.03.2024
18:50
[8.0] "What a match, when this one ended I was filled with a desire to watch at least 5 more minutes of them, incredible chemistry, 14-minutes was too short. There were a little miscommunications at the beginning, but the rest of the match was a joy, super electric and with action all the time. The kickout at 1 is a bold spot that doesn't always work, but right here it worked pretty well, it was phenomenal, the crowd reactions not only there, but at some other moves absolutely made the match - {****}"
26428.03.2024
18:32
[8.0] "The confrontation of these two teams has always been attractive to me and they have a very good coordination and can always deliver entertaining matches with a high level of wrestling. This match was very good and the performance of all 4 wrestlers was excellent. I give this match 8 points."
26528.03.2024
18:26
[8.0] "This match had very good booking and I liked this match more than the first match of these two wrestlers and it was more violent and more attractive. I give this match 8 points ."
26628.03.2024
18:23
[5.0] "This was a decent match, but I just feel nothing for either of these teams right now. The Kingdom are ROH Tag Team champions, yet you'd be hard pressed to remember that based on how they're presented. The Best Friends/Chaos combination of Orange Cassidy and Trent Beretta also just feels kinda whatever to me. They both feel like they're spinning their wheels until Chuck comes back at this stage."

[8.0] "Very good match from start to finish , just all around fast pace action , Tony just throwing stacks onto angel and humberto was creative. Angel and Humberto were working very fast pace as expected , nice high flying style action from them. There is potential with Angel and Humberto on the main roster , they're still young and there's more to do with them. Solid match , good fast paced action from both teams , and nice finish too. The brawl before the match was creative in highlighting the tension between both teams."

[7.0] "It was an alright defense, slightly above satisfactory, as VIF got to showcase that they are more than willing to get their hands dirty, but a match against The Rejects is a curious case. All four meshed well enough to produce a cohesive result, but both teams have put on better matches. If this had more of a buildup, it could be higher. But for what it was, it's fine."

[7.0] "In the first ten or so minutes I was absolutely loving this match. By the finish, it was a little lesser than that, but I must say all the great things it does mean it can't be any less than great itself. The early grappling is utterly fantastic, I love the way Togo seems to have a trick up his sleeve for every single escape or counter Asuka manages, which is something that stays true throughout the bout as Asuka tries and tries to get a foothold over her opponent, only to find herself having to fight back and escape from another hold. There's a point after that early mat trade sequence where, after a bit of runny dive teasy etc., Togo slaps and chops the shit out of Asuka, and there's hair pulling, hair throws and Asuka even responding with an ear-pulling whip which is fucking awesome stuff, and if the match had escalated from there to meaner holds or just violent striking without anything else, this would have been amazing. As it stands though, the transition into Togo working harsh holds and the late comeback by Asuka cut off into one more survival sequence which she ultimately taps out in is great stuff, and is definitely all part of a match i'd highly recommend. Asuka is fantastic here in selling, really putting over the work done by Togo as she seems totally out of her depth but still fighting back heartily, while Togo is absolutely at home as a mean old bastard with a penchant for tight holds and some fantastic strikes. High end 7.5/10, maybe higher on a rewatch. Great stuff."

[7.0] "I was enjoying this match a lot from the beginning (although not quite as much as Shibata's match against Danielson), but towards the end, the no selling got overbearing for me and put a damper on an otherwise very good match. If you left the no-selling spot to Shibata as a last gasp for victory and don't have Ospreay do it, I think this match would have been a lot better."

[5.0] "Not sure I particularly cared for this one. Sato wears a women's swimsuit, and the rules are that you have to say something "with love and gratitude" before the ref will count the pin. Silly rule done in a silly manner, there's a lot of ref involvement, it's decently humorous at points, and I actually do quite like Cherry's work here. Sato, well, he's much better elsewhere we'll say. 5.5ish/10."

[6.0] "Interesting match for sure. Miyamoto is great at offence and really punishes Rina here, who you can't help but look at as the underdog of the match with her audible selling and the way the crowd reacts each time she manages to push through and actually hit a big move on her opponent, like that suplex. Once the time calls come in for three and one minute(s) left it gets a bit obvious that they're going to the draw but it's fair enough, I like the fight to try and get the win, and I like the work of both involved. Felt Miyamoto was the much better offence dealer, so the match does suffer a little whenever it's Rina's turn to dole out moves. That said it's still quite good. 6.5/10."

[5.0] "Really pretty standard match. Kaori and Sekiguchi were decently impressive, though obviously i've seen Kaori do much better than this. Rina Shingaki I was not familiar with as she retired pretty quickly but she was decent enough. Tsubasa Kuragaki had some good stuff and some bad stuff, guessing the weaker stuff was just clunky timing issues. The comedy with Matsuzawa on the outside and then hitting with the leek thing was humorous enough, though it was mostly just a silly nothing match. It was also a short match though, so no hard feelings."

[7.0] "I thought all four wrestlers handled this very well, and the match layout wasn't too hard to follow (which sometimes happens with multi-person singles matches). Skye Blue's willingness to take great-looking bumps was a real credit for this match because she works well with both Statlander and Willow. The pace of this match also seemed slightly higher and more urgent than the women's division matches usually are. I really think this match over-delivered, and I'm excited to see where they take the feud with Mercedes."

[4.0] "This match was just there, and wasnt terrible by most standards, but this rating is mostly for the inexplicable booking of The Undisputed Kingdom. Even though they hold three titles (with two being ROH titles; which havent carried any weight since Joe vacated the Television Championship), they continue to be poorly booked and do not come off as a threat whatsoever. Combined with Coles injury, Wardlows loss, and now Bennett and Tavens loss, it will take some serious turnaround for the UK to be taken anywhere close to seriously."

[9.0] "Amazing spotfest. Both teams delivered great perfomances and the action was very fun and exciting with lots of great sequences and exchanges. Omega/Ospreay dragon suplex sequence was awesome. Ospreay hit an oscutter to counter Nick's springboard, climbed the top rope and hit a Meltzer driver was an incredible seqeunce, crazy stuff that just shows how good Ospreay is. Aussie Open and the Bucks deliverd very good perfomances as well, Omega looked great too and the closing stretch was excellent. 9/10 - 4.5*/5*"

[8.0] "Match also found on Prime Time Wrestling May 2nd 1988: Barry Horowitz in orange and he looks a bit paunchy, he would fix that soon. Jose Luis Rivera looks excellent. I live for this kind of matchup. I love the enhancement guys who were actually very good professional wrestlers. Really great match that I love to watch over and over. Highlights are PLENTIFUL. There is so much gold in the commentary here as well. Gorilla Monsoon jokingly calls an improv-move by Horowitz the "Double Lead Leg Lay Back". Lord Alfred Hayes has a superb comment that in some ways summed up Barry's entire career, it's the comment where he uses the word "intersplices". There is one major blemish on the commentary, it's Monsoon's fault and no one else's. There's so much well done work here, both men have moments to look damn good. Often the work is fluid, crisp and done in textbook fashion. Not all of it, I won't outright lie as even the finishing cradle was only a cradle in theory. Sure it's not much more than an exhibition but good stuff from both and it's hard to find fault in this. 8.25"

[7.0] "A bit of a dissapointment but still good: the crowd wasn't super invested at first but near the end got better. The match was a bit too long, if it had lasted five minutes less it would've been better. The action was enjoyable, the Bucks were the heels and worked on Jericho's arm. Omega and Jerocho had some solid comebacks, there were a couple of cool spots and the closing stretch was great. Not really interested in Elite drama in 2023 but the possibilty of seeing the Bucks turn heel again hypes me a lot as I believe that their version the heel one from late 2020 to late 2021 was simply fantastic. 7/10 - 3.5*/5*"

[8.0] "The risk of doing a "Shibata is THE measuring stick" angle between two wrestlers means you're naturally going to compare the performances. I liked Danielson/Shibata slightly more due to the build/crescendo they created with the crowd's energy and I gave that a "9, " so I'm going with an "8" for this one. With that said, I think the second half of this match was very well executed and told an interesting story: Ospreay won with physical dominance (Tiger Driver + Hidden Blade) while Danielson won with a cunning reversal/roll-up. Meanwhile, the first half of the match was compelling because Shibata forced Ospreay to work a slightly more deliberate style/pace. I also liked Shibata's counter to the springboard kick wherein he locked in the STF."

[8.0] "The match had several booking mistakes, which can be mentioned as the lack of DIY and Gable in the match. But if we consider the quality of the match itself, it was really good, especially the last minutes and the great fight between Cody and CM Punk. Overall, the royal rumble match was not bad and I give it 8 points."

[8.0] "Lots of fun spots in this one (e.g., Private Party using More Bang for Your Buck, the Bucks using Made in Detroit), and Nick Jackson pulled out several uncommon moves of his own (e.g., the falcon arrow off the barricade, german suplexes). I also thought Matt Jackson did an awesome job on two pinfalls in selling the idea that he wouldn't be able to get his shoulder off the mat in time (i.e., selling the struggle of the pin). The finish was a little more convoluted than I'd prefer, but I did like that Private Party proved they weren't completely hapless babyfaces by countering the low blow with a belt shot."

Crazy Steve is a great wrestler. im a new viewer and this is making me wonder how many times he is an after thought in his own matches when hes the champion lol im being nice with the 5 cause the wrestling was fine but I really did not like the ending"

[5.0] "Not a necessarily bad match , just kind of mediocre , I think that was mostly because of the stuff going on at ringside , Dominik was good in his heel role , and Randy didn't seem to have much ring rust. Randy doing the rko is always nice to see , my only complaint is all the stuff with jelly roll at ringside. I didn't even know who he was really before this raw , there was no reason for Dominik to be focused on him, it was very random and took away from the match. This was supposed to be Randy's return singles match back and instead of being all about Randy , they were too invested in getting jelly roll involved. Still solid match , and randy looked really good in the ring with no apparent rust. If jelly roll wasn't a factor , this could of been way better than it was."

[9.0] "This Match felt like a true blending of styles between a New Japan and NOAH style match and aside from the odd start (with shiozaki dominating for some reason? ) and miscommunication on a top rope something this match slayed ass this Match kinda helped me put my finger on why I'm so hot and cold on shiozaki he's at his best when he's against either a larger opponent or someone who hits hard (Suwama, Doering, Nakajima, Sugiura, Etc.) the chop battle was an awesome call back, a very smooth Lariat reversal *you don't see stuff like that anymore* those last few lariats had me jumping up and down (Shiozaki had Kobashi tier selling there) that random shot of a cowboy hat cladded Kojima had me dying and The Northern Lights Bomb was awesome this in my opinion was one of NOAH's in ring peaks from late '09 to around early '13 were just incredible work that really isn't talked about (I understand why it's just a shame tho) this was also around Sasaki's in ring peak that also isn't talked about.... TL;DR NOAH was awesome around this time period* if you enjoy either man or hard hitting heavyweight action you'll love this match 8.75/10"

[5.0] "Owens tried very hard to make Reigns look good here, but Reigns just wasn't able to turn the crowd in his favor (they booed him from the entrance) and make them want to see him overcome the odds, which is why the finish fell somewhat flat. I guess in old-school way of thinking stacking even more odds against a babyface would do the trick, but everyone was fed up with babyface Reigns by then."

[7.0] "This was a really nice little gem you can find online. It shows a younger ZSJ with more fire but a lot more rookie tendencies, taking on an older Liger who is wily but not as fast as he once was. So interesting to see the evolution of ZSJs style over the years, still here he does the classic rapid shifts between submissions, but it often leads to Liger managing to escape or get his foot into the rope due to poor placement, however when Zack doesnt shift the submissions, Liger escapes anyway as he has time to calculate his options. You can see how this develops later into ZSJs career which I find fascinating. This wasnt an absolute classic by any means but it was an excellent technician showcase between two of the best to ever do it, and would be the only time they met in singles competition. Definitely worth seeking out on YouTube!"

Devlin and WALTER's first standoff carried and incredible aura thanks to the reactions from the crowd, the commentary do a great job of selling the debuting WALT and just gushing over his power. Ki, although i find him very gauche, worked at his best with his kicks and doubleteams serving the match well before Devlin finally helps Starr out. Devlin taking the loss over Starr was very very interesting too. I might just take a detour from my Starr / WALTER watchalong to see where this story with Devlin & WALTER goes. [3.75]"
