14 | 01.12.2018 | Dooby | 8.0 | The first banger of the D-Ou tournament by none other than Speedball once again. I don't think it was as good as the Shuji match at the beginning of the year, but this was still a very fun match at least. Takeshita was pretty cold in his performance, but he still did a great job in dominating Bailey which built the drama of a potential upset greatly. I liked the fast pace, but I feel like it went a little too fast which is weird to say. I can say though there is chemistry here for an incredible classic somewhere down the line (still haven't seen their 2017 match), ****1/4. |

Very cohesive bout with stiffness and hard bumps and pristine execution. Always fun when a wrestler unveils a new technique that catches their opponent off guard. ****1/2 |
19 | 30.11.2018 | Makai Club | 7.0 | This was awesome. It was pretty slow but still engaging to watch and they turned it up in parts. Some nice sequences and some solid wrestling between the two. The ending was really good too. It felt like it lacked a little something that would've pushed it to the next level however; that killer spark. Very good match though. ***1/2. |
