[8.0] "The hype was high for this match, so in that regard it disappointed a bit, but I still thought it was a pretty great match. Now the first 10-15 minutes or so are pretty slow as is in typical DDT main events, but those last 10 minutes are a pretty wild ride. This was not the glorious triumph that we expected Irie to have after finally beating HARASHIMA, but it was still a struggle from start to finish which fit the narrative fine. The last minute surprise challenge from Sammy after the match was cool too, ****1/4."
[7.0] "Erstmal zum Match selbst aus technischer Sicht. Die ersten 10 Minuten waren erst noch überschaubar, ab dann wurde das Match für mich aber besser. Ich mochte den Spot wo HARASHIMA Irie einen Headkick verpasst, dieser sich kurz was einrenkt und wieder losstürmt aber dafür wieder einen Kick verpasst bekommt und im Fallen den Mittelfinger zeigt. Das keine Stimmung aufkommen wollte und auch die Zuschauerzahl mager ausfiel obwohl es das größte Titelmatch seit längerer Zeit war lag daran wie Irie dargestellt wird seit er den Titel hat. Er ist kein Heel, macht aber auch nichts um Facereaktionen zu bekommen wodurch bis auf die Hardcore Irie Fans keiner Stimmung macht und es meistens verdammt still ist im Match. Hoffe man erkennt die Fehler und korrigiert sie bevor die Regentschaft von Irie komplett im Desaster endet."
