[6.0] "The Battle Bowl battle royal is certainly not as good as the first one, but much better than the second one. The eliminations seemed to take forever, but Vader attacking Flair and injuring him out of the match is what I'll remember. Vader becomes the third Battle Bowl winner after a weird "landing on the ramp means you're not eliminated" rule saves Sting."
[6.0] "20/11/93 BattleBowl WCW. Not the worst battle royal and defo not the best, the beginning dragged on a bit too much with nothing really happening. It didn't really pick up until the final 3 which became very entertaining, Sting vs Vader and Austin was worked brilliantly. Although Austin went out in bizarre circumstances, maybe he missed his spot. The finale was a bit of a botch, but still great. 5.5*"
[7.0] "If you wanted to put on a fun battle royal like this, why bother with the two hours of tag matches of variable quality? Starts out really slow and as a result drags too long, but the spots they think of are really good. Steve Austin is a surprise iron man, getting in with three main eventers to the Top 4. Dustin Rhodes eats a ring post in a really gnarly way. Vader takes out Flair by injury - adding heat to the upcoming Starrcade '93 - and wins."
[6.0] "Ziemlich brauchbare Battle Royal, die extrem von der guten Schlussphase profitiert. Der Weg dahin ist in Ordnung und hat das typische Chaos und teils zähe Drama-Pacing. Die Sache mit der Rampe ist auch nicht so meins, aber im Endeffekt ist das Match wirklich ganz ordentlich. (***1/4)"
[8.0] "I have to say that I hate the other eight matches but the final Battle Royal is a great one. The final four is intense and for once it's really unpredictable, with many surprises and an incredible Steve Austin getting further than expected. ****"
[10.0] "Finally, after two years of duds, WCW books a Battlebowl match that actually rules. No more confusing or contradictory rules, just a straight battle royal featuring a pretty stacked group (with a few exceptions... ). The match hits an elite level in the final 4, as they go through a crazy good extended sequence on the raised ramp which eventually leads to Flair being taken out on a stretcher, while Harley Race attempts to overturn him and do even more damage! Sting also brought the goods here, which is not always true in this era, but here he does well, as do Austin and especially Vader, who is far and away the star of the match. The ending is a little bit of a derp moment but it makes sense in context. Fantastic battle royal overall, one of the better ones I have seen."
[7.0] "The first half is pretty much a run of the mill battle royal, but once it gets down to the final four, the quality really picks up. A great stretcher job and some great booking of the finish push this into a memorable match for an otherwise disappointing card."
[8.0] "Also so schlimm fand ich weder die Battle Royal noch den ganzen Event. Es wurde nur recht hektisch den neu aufkommenden bzw. gerade laufenden Fehden zu folgen, allerdings sehr interessant die Dynamik der Männer untereinander zu verfolgen. Ein Turnier mit diesen 16 Männern, wäre damals sicherlich unterhaltsam gewesen. So kam eine gute Battle Royal zusammen, die gerne länger hätte dauern können!"
