[8.0] "An exciting team of Marufuji and HARASHIMA was formed specifically for this match. It was pretty damn fun too as the veteran strikers took the big boys to school in tag team chemistry. Not to downplay Higuchi and Irie though as they were very coordinated as a team too. Marufuji didn't feel at his best, but he definitely put in the work for him and his partner to get the upset and title win, ****1/4."

[5.0] "Shigehiro Irie & Kazusada Higuchi (c) -vs- HARASHIMA & Naomichi Marufuji – (KO-D Tag Title) [** 1/4] I could half-way get into this one. None of that DDT nonsense and Marufuji giving it some star-power. Solid action as well, without it taking off too much."
[8.0] "A very enjoyable tag team match. Both teams aren't the most cohesive as they don't have a ton of experience together (one being a team formed for this match), but all 4 guys were skilled enough to make it work, and Irie/Higuchi as a unit has progressed well in their short time together. There's a lot of good combos between teammates in this match, from Marufuji and HARASHIMA laying in strikes to Irie & Higuchi hossing their opponents into oblivion (Higuchi's sumo push into the corner followed up by Irie's cannonball was just awesome). Higuchi & Marufuji had multiple chop battles in this as well, and Higuchi getting the upper hand made him look great. In the end, HARA once again beats Irie clean with a smile on his face, and wins the tag titles for his team. ***3/4 to ****"
