[7.0] "That was a good match. Backlund carried the in-ring, like always, Zbyszko did his heel job with vicious strangle attempts and his good brawling abilities, and Tony Atlas did well as a referee."

[7.0] "Bob comes hot for Larry and destroys the challenger, he works the arm similar to Bruno in the previous match - things switch around when Backlund runs in the turnbuckle - Larry works on Bob, chokes and cheat - of course he argues during the whole match with Tony Atlas, the special referee. Comeback and cheap finish... The announcers are terrible but funny."

[7.0] "This is a rematch from their Philly confrontation the previous month. Backlund began the bout by unloading on Zbyszko in classic Backlund fashion, not giving his challenger any room to breathe. Larry eventually took control after a missed blind charge, and his next target was to go after Backlund's throat. Tony Atlas is your special guest referee here, and his confrontations with Larry Z are worth checking out - he'd get into Larry's face whenever the Cruncher tried something dirty, and the crowd would happily eat it up. Backlund's comeback was hot albeit short-lived. Larry managed to survive all of Backlund's Moves of Doom, including an Atomic Drop that sent him reeling to the apron. Bob followed him there, but the Cruncher struck him with a facelock choke on the ropes. Larry refused to break the hold, giving the champion a win by DQ. A good title bout with a well-told story, though a step down from their last meeting. [***1/2]"
