| 45 | 25.01.2022 | TheLegitBoss | 8.0 | Damn cool match between Jericho and Neville which was exactly what I expected so I can say that this match lived up to my expectations even if it was nothing exceptional either because we all know that Jericho was not in the shape of his career at that time, that's why Neville deserves credit for pushing him to his limits and bringing out the best in him because obviously he still had it in his blood. Jericho was of course the most over here because he was the big name in the match and also because he spent years in Japan at the beginning of his career, but Neville managed to win the hearts of the crowd over the course of the match with his great babyface-work and that adds even more praise to his excellent performance here. He was really motivated for his big return to the country. The dynamic of this match reminded me a lot of Jericho vs Evan Bourne from Fatal 4-Way 2010, with Jericho making shine a young prospect in an underrated gem. I also liked the atmosphere and the small arena, it really felt like a NJPW show with Michael Cole on commentary and that was fun. |

Their styles meshed extremely well, and they delivered a great match in front of a crowd who was hot for both men. Jericho took the advantage early, Neville made a comeback, but Jericho got the win in the end with a rare Liontamer. |

They had some really good exchanges including who would get to hit the dive to the floor and the exchange of strikes was also pretty good. Jericho really brought the psychology and match structure while Neville brought the high flying and striking ability to the match. Gotta say the Codebreaker out of mid-air was AWESOME! As well as how much the crowd was really into the finish when Neville attempts the Red Arrow but gets double knees instead and then Jericho gets Neville to submit to the Liontamer. Really Good match overall though.... ***3/4 |

Auch großen Respekt an die WWE, dass sie mittlerweile auch andere Ligen anerkennen und unter anderem Dragon Gate nennen. Das Match selbst ist ja mal unglaublich stark. Was für ein Auftritt von Beiden mit absolut genialen Kontern und Gegenkontern. Die Movesets der Beiden passen super zueinander und das merkt man auch. Chris Jericho hat es definitiv immer noch drauf und Neville zeigt hier auch, dass man mit ihm in der Zukunft auch rechnen sollte, 8 Punkte. |
