[10.0] "This was just about a perfect TV match for this era, for any era really. Tully, the champion, was picture perfect as the crafty heel, viciously taking any openings but also bouncing around when on the defensive and riling up the crowd at any opportunity. At 48 Wahoo probably wouldn't win any foot races but this Native American was pure grit incarnate, every strike, everything thundering chop (one of the best choppers ever for sure), ever hold he slapped on looked like a grim piece of news for any opponent, leaving Tully reeling, and the crowd was ballistic for the match as both guys ended up bloody. The finish was typical of the era but well executed, Horsemen manager JJ Dillon passed Tully a foreign object which seemingly allowed him to get the win, but before the final word could be said Tully's bitter enemy Ron Garvin ran out and exposed his cheating, leaving the scene to descend into a chaotic fight while the crowd roared and a DQ was called. I really can't complain about the finish, it fit the style perfectly and the crowd ate it up. This ruled."
