They had some decent exchanges with actual wrestling moves, but not nearly enough of them. It was mostly built around weapon spots like chairs and kendo sticks, and we've already seen this stuff done a million times so it wasn't too special to me. Typical overbooking for a Seth match around this time with Authority interference. Seth's heel work is still uninspired around this time. The ending with the fake concrete blocks was pretty bad but it made sense so Ambrose could be taken off TV for his movie. I definitely liked most of the match, but it was held back by WWE tropes. ***1/4 |

Beide verkaufen ihren gegenseitigen Hass in dieser Fehde sehr gut und das mit so ziemlich allen Mitteln. Man hat hier gute Spots und Sequenzen bekommen, ein paar knappe Momente und ein solides Ende. Das Kane eingreifen musste störte etwas, machte aber letztendlich doch etwas Sinn und lässt Ambrose nicht schwach aussehen(***1/2). |

I was disappointed with their PPV encounter but not with this one which exceeded my expectations as I wasn't expecting something so fantastic although I'm aware of the chemistry they have together, it's not a lesson in psychology or storytelling honestly but it's just a big bombfest with lots of crazy spots and it was so entertaining to watch from start to finish. A match that allowed them to get creative with some really great moments, but also pushed Rollins' character even further with a really brutal ending to watch. All in all this match was a real success and the best way to continue their rivalry, the crowd was so damn electric on top of that. |

Both men pretty much tussled and fought around the ring until Dean brought in the weapons like chairs and kendo sticks, which showed for really nice spots. Eventually Rollins introduced a table, but unfortunately was put through it by Dean. The ending was hot with Dean fighting off Rollins and an interfering Kane, but he could only handle one before they both took him out. Rollins then proceeded to deliver a Curb Stomp on the announce table, then finally another one onto "concrete". This was done as an angle to remove Dean from the storyline so he could go film a movie, thus Rollins wins by referee stoppage, ****1//4. |
