[8.0] "Both teams are explosive in their own way, but the Brutes brought violence and power while the Usos brought their high-flying stuff and a bit of dirtyness. Dunne and Holland look very credible enough to dethrone Jey & Jimmy, but there is a world where they are the tag champs for eternity. A 15-minute where they went all out and showcased each pretty well. The Brutes displayed some pretty good chemistry, definitely. The finish was a bit overbooked, but had a meaning. That added something to the already chaotic atmosphere."
[6.0] "This match did one thing that mattered more than anything else: it made me believe that an upset, as illogical as it would have been, was possible. There was a point where I believed they might do the unthinkable and change the titles and that is a great feeling. Was a bit annoyed that we? ve got Butch eating pins because Ridge is the one who should be doing so right now. That said the Brutes looked good even in defeat, Butch worked his butt off here, and the Imperium run in was easily predictable but not in a bad way."
[7.0] "There was zero doubt in The Usos losing the titles here, but Brawling Brutes presented themselves as tough challengers and gave a really good fight to the record setting champions. The boiling tensions between Jey & Sami furthered which led to The Usos almost losing but Imperium lurked around like a pack of wolves and cost the titles to the contenders. Usos are on a crisis of losing the titles as most of the roster have found their place in the losers' zone and I hope someone new could give the instant feel of champions and take the titles off the Samoan brothers. 3.5 out of 5 stars!"
[8.0] "A fresh breath of air in the already fresh division brought delicious fruits. Brawling Brutes get the absolute support of fans and become the hottest faces of the company. An amazing match where there was drama, working with fans, wrestling and of course in the best WWE production style. That's where WWE really did everything perfectly. The Uso is lucky that the brawlers have other enemies and the Uso, in fact, achieved victory in the quantitative majority after 3D."
[8.0] "I was really pleased to see a fresh tag team title matchup as the main event for one of the weekly shows, and better yet the crowd was really electric for it. I never thought I'd see Ridge Holland get such a big pop. The match itself was fun and full of action. It was probably the best Ridge has ever looked on the main roster and Dunne's style was something a bit different for the Usos. Very good TV main event."
[8.0] "This was a really strong main event here. Butch was really good here with his breif moments of joint minuplation, and his brawling overall in this match was good, Ridge was fine in this with his power moves, although he had a pretty good hot tag. The Usos beatdown on the Butch lead to a good hot tag from Ridge, and later on an even better one from Butch, that lead to a great near fall. Imperium intefered shortly after allowing The Usos to score the win.****"
[8.0] "The Usos really don't miss, you could put them against the worst tag team and they would still put out a good match. Luckily their opponents were amazing in this match making it that much better. The superkicks here were superb, specifically the one where Butch went for a moonsault. The near fall when Butch almost pinned Jey but Jimmy broke it up made me think the Brawling Brutes actually had it. Sami and Jey's plot is becoming some of the best stuff on Smackdown, so they need to keep it up. Overall, another great title defenses for The Usos and a showcase of how talented the Brawling Brutes are."
[8.0] "Best Usos defense in awhile. Really great showing for all involved, especially the Brutes. Butch was wrestling like his old self and going wild, and Ridge ended up getting over too in the end."
[6.0] "An acceptable Main Event, but nothing more than that. This show was bad but at least this match show something interesting while it last with an acceptable time of 15 minutes aprox. Both teams show some good spots, I like the interactions with Sami, Imperium appears at the end for tease a little bit more the match between Sheamus and Gunther. And The Usos wins like it had to happened. In my opinion, 3 Stars of match."
[8.0] "Thoroughly sports entertained at this one. Two great teams facing off in a great match. The brutes are on fire at the moment and they prove themselves once again."
[9.0] "One of the best wrestling on a SmackDown show this year but hands down, how good are Brawling Brutes, that storyline is a bit stagnant for them, but I like it a lot."
[9.0] "One of the best Smack main events of this year. Very fast temp, great chemistry and interchange. Even intrigue was during the action. As a result, USOs' still champs and I am interested who are next going for the belts. ****1/2 for this bout!"
[8.0] "Really good tag team match between the Usos and the Brawling Brutes here in what was a super enjoyable match from start to finish, although it took a little while for their chemistry to develop and I think it's a shame there was that botch as it could have been very bad for Butch but in the end it was more fear than harm and on the way back to the commercial until the last second it was phenomenal. You can tell Triple H is very high on Butch even though he's the one taking the pin, he's always loved Pete Dunne so it's no surprise and the latter was clearly the star in that match, everything he did in the ring was so good and the crowd was very loud for him so it only points to good things for him afterwards. Holland did his powerhouse thing with two big hot-tags, and the Usos as the pillars of the division came out strong without much suspense. Great workrate, great tag team action, another stellar main event from SmackDown."
[6.0] "It's pretty hilarious what passes for a supposed 10/10, 9.00+ match in WWE these days. I guess the "Triple H has completely changed the company for the better! " narrative continues to persist, but the match quality for their top matches remainsthe same for the most part, since this was a completely acceptable, 'alright' match at best. Butch was the best worker here, unsurprisingly. His few bits of limb-manipulation were good, as were his impactful and energetic brawling attacks. His partner, Ridge, was pretty limited, just relying on 'mindless power and strength' spots. He at least didn't look too awkward or out of place, but I can't say he added anything that interesting or exciting either. The Usos were their usual alright selves, with various decent sharp strikes and good arrogant attitudes, plus some nicely impactful and mildly creative tag spots. WWE and their fans' insistence on calling The Usos *the* greatest tag team ever remains the absolute height of exaggeration, since even in this supposedly awesome match they showed absolutely nothing that any run-of-the-mill good indie tag team can't do. The final 1/3rd was filled with lots of underwhelming, desperate-to-be-considered-epic spots, rapid exchanges, and near falls, with the lot of them once again lacking anything truly impressive. The Usos even had a period of Young-Bucks-esque super kick spam spots that were often set up in pretty convenient ways (like from Butch's second-rope moonsault, when he clearly had no reason to assume that the Usos were actually in that move's line of sight, instead just easily opening himself up for the Usos to snipe him mid-air). It got to the point that I was assuming that the entire front few rows of fans must have been plants, because they were popping for such relatively underwhelming spots as if they were totally epic and immensely creative. They threw in the typical interference towards the finish, just to really hit home that this was indeed the WWE product everyone was watching, and then they finished the match off. This was basically just like a very average AEW tag match, so I'm honestly shocked WWE fans enjoyed the equivalent so much, since this was just the most average 'good' match ever. ***"
[10.0] "This was a very good main event. Butch was a great face in peril throughout the match, his selling was incredible and he took some brutal bumps. The Usos were vicious in their actions and Ridge was a great hot tag. The false finish they had when they hit their double team finish was great too. Imperium getting involved was obvious but the match was so good that it didn't take away. Awesome main event. [****3/4]"
[7.0] "A good weekly match we can even say a PPV quality match with an interference finish wich is clearly a shame. Hope to the this match again without interference or maybe some sort of 3 way tag with Imperium. * * * 1/4"
[10.0] "An excellent fight. It's exactly what I expected, technique with BUTCH, strength with Ridge Holland and experience with The Usos. It was really fun to watch. There was a little botch by the way when BUTCH fell outside the ring, it looked painful."
