[8.0] "This was very good, but the constraints with the slow counting typical with Last Man Standing Matches does hurt the pacing it a little bit. That aside though, these two beat the crap out of each other and it was awesome to watch and Benoit really brought the intensity to the match. I honestly lost count of how many German Suplexes Edge takes in this match, one of which is off the ladder in a memorable spot. This other big spot is hard to watch nowadays with Benoit missing the headbutt off the top of the ladder. Benoit looked tough as nails as he made Edge tap twice in the match and it felt like Edge would have to throw everything at him to get the win! The finishing stretch was really good where Edge spears Benoit twice and still can't keep him down before smacking him at the back of the head with a brick! Great character work here from both with Benoit selling his beating after the match where he attempts to stand up, but cant. Also this was a very fitting way for Edge to take a shortcut to win as he looked very ruthless and this was a big part of his heel run. I couldn't help but notice Lita was looking at the screen after the match, nice suble moment there."

[5.0] "Last Man Standing matches inherently suck because of how drawn-out the ref's counts always are, so this match had an uphill battle right from the start. In the end it was fine enough but definitely nothing I'd ever bother returning to. Benoit's aggressive brawl work was very good as usual, with each strike being delivered with full intensity. Unfortunately, the rest of the match was just your generic WWE-style hardcore spots with a few equally uninteresting attacks from Edge. Benoit's various signature moves remained impressive when they came out, but Edge went for some Spears and a bunch of heartless weapon attacks to eventually keep him down for the 10-count. Everything good about this match came from Benoit, since he always tried his hardest even in matches that were ultimately forgettable. **3/4"

[4.0] "I was dreading this match because I hate the LMS stipulation and Edge just isn't too great in the ring. This match had all the bad LMS tropes you'd expect. Long periods of selling, generic brawling, weapon spots. There wasn't a whole lot of intensity to this either. There were a few cool moments like Edge countering Benoit's suicide dive which looked great, but then the match went back to it's slow pace. The finish with the brick was really creative though. **1/4"

Still, Edge and Benoit worked really well together, but this match was just lacking anything to make it truly noteworthy. A lot of unnecessary periods of long counting, even after relatively minor moves. ***"

[1.0] "This wasn't good. Edge isn't a really good brawler, and this match had some brawling in it, and for the most part, it wasn't good. It was also missing some much needed intensity IMO. My favorite thing about this match was Benoit's excellent selling, but that it's. This was a really forgettable Last Man Standing bout. *1/4"

9 Points!"

Rated R Champ wrote on 29.01.2011:
[9.0] "Sehr intensives LMS Match.
Kid Rock wrote on 04.04.2010:
