Everything was perfect except the beginning and the first few minutes which were really very basic, but once McIntyre came in it became an absolutely fantastic match. From then on the rhythm was catchy until the end and I was never bored as there was so much quality content offered by all the men in the match. I won't be able to name an MVP even if, to be honest, Rey once again did well, just like every time he do a Chamber match. The action was very good and same for the booking, even if the elimination of Barrett bothered me a little bit but that's all I can blame this match for. I thought Big Show was going to stay longer but his elimination was well brought so it's okay. Kane was a solid heel as usual. McIntyre was brilliant for the short time he stayed. Edge and Rey were the two pioneers of this match, two big babyface who started and finished the match as they should have. The final was absolutely tremendous, Rey's kick-out on the first Spear really got me. This was pure chaos and I loved it, everyone did a good job, the crowd was receptive to everything and me too. Great, great stuff. |

Die Amfangsphase ist okay, dann kommt Kane und das Match wird langsamer, was nicht gerade verwunderlich ist. Die Darstellung von Barret gefällt mir nicht, er durfte nicht viel zeigen. Auch mit McIntyre bin ich nicht zufrieden, zwar geht er am Anfang ziemlich ab, das wars aber dann schon. Big Show wird mit Hilfe von allen eliminiert und darauf folgt McIntyre, was für mich zu einfach war. Das man Rey bis zum Schluss drinlässt muss nicht sein, obwohl die Schlussphase dann echt gut und spannend war, obwohl ein Titelwechsel nicht in Frage kam. Ingesamt ein echt starkes Chamber Match, wo es wenig zu meckern gibt. |

Es war sicherlich das bessere Chamber Match an diesem Abend und es war ähnlich wie das Smackdown Chamber Match von 2008 anfangs sehr langsam durch die vielen Big Man's aber gegen Ende ein einziges Spektakel mit vielen spannenden Momenten und großartigen Near Falls. Abgesehen davon muss man aber auch sagen, dass Barrett und McIntyre in diesem Match nicht gerade eine große Rolle gespielt haben, weswegen ich ein gemeinsames Elimination Chamber auch in diesem Jahr viel lieber gesehen hätte, als 2 Matches an diesem Abend. Nichtsdestotrotz war das ein starkes Match und eines der besseren Matches der WWE in diesem Jahr. **** 1/4 (3) |

Vorallem Barrett fand ich wirklich sehr schwach. Ich kann mich an keine Aktion von ihm erinnern. Auch Big Show blieb für seine Verhältnisse blass. McIntyre fand ich vorallem am Anfang richtig stark und ich hätte ein Finish mit ihm deutlich besser gefunden als mit Rey. Damit bin ich auch beim Hauptschwachpunkt des Matches. Das ausgerechnet Rey diverse knallharte Aktionen überstehen darf und am Ende auch noch aus einem Spear auskickt, war höchstgradig unglaubwürdig. Das Finish war spannend, o. k. , aber alles andere als ein Sieg von Edge wäre eine Frechheit gewesen. Ein Mysterio-Desaster hatten wir schon bei WM. Ein zweites wäre echt zuviel gewesen. |

Handwerklich sauber, psychologisch ansprechend, aber an den EC-Merkmalen komplett vorbei. Trotzdem gut. |
