[7.0] "Great match and easily match of the night up to this point. It's an high energy match pretty much from the start, even during the heat the pace doesn't let up all that much. The Fantastics are a good babyface team and are super over with the crowd, while Tully and Arn, with JJ Dillon, are one of the all time great heel teams. The exchanges between Rogers and Blanchard are great and make for a very good opening sequence. Fulton plays the babyface in peril admirably enough and gets his revenge in the finish as the babyfaces steal a victory when he makes the save and dropkicks Rogers. Really good match, a classic example of 80s tag team wrestling with great action and a molten crowd"
[8.0] "This is my second favourite match of this show and my favourite of the evening show. This was a breath of fresh air on this show. Arn & Tully ruled, and I think this is early in them teaming. The Fantastics also ruled; they were the most consistent performers throughout this whole tournament."
[9.0] "I thoroughly enjoyed The Fantastics in hindsight. I didn't fully appreciate them then, but they were a great underutilized tag team. Rogers and Blanchard worked really well together and would've loved to have seen them in a singles match. Fulton annoys me for some reason, probably because I hate that hip gyrating thing he does trying to be cocky or something. But a surprise upset makes this match a show stealer.. Great match."
[10.0] "This is just pure, unadulterated 80s tag greatness. I don't have a strong opinion on the Fantastics but they are a perfectly good team, and when matched up against a team of two in the best in the world at this time? Absolutely killer match. The crowd was rocking on basically every exchange and I swear, perhaps nobody has ever been better both on offense and when bumping and feeding than the combination of Arn and Tully, they are seriously incredible. The little touches of this match truly put it over the top, and even the Fantastics winning in an upset couldn't set me back. This ruled."

That is not to say that Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard are slouchards. They were quite able here to help make this match a must see for anyone who loves a good tag team match."
