The performance is dynamic enough, the chemistry is all there. Again, respect for pushing a newbie a little over. A couple of interesting things watching Bryan, and seeing that his style has not changed much from this match. It got better sure, but watching this match is like watching Bryan later matches, so you can see that this is where the legend is born. |

Great sequences, good counters, in general a perfect showcase for Daniel Bryan who was able to show in a short time what he could do in his WWE debut. I wish it could have lasted longer but I can understand the logic of the time which was that a NXT rookie couldn't hold out very long against the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and one of the top stars of the company. This was still a competitive bout and I loved it. |
