Clear heel and face dynamic all the way through with Heenan playing his role to perfection. And Gorilla and Venturas commentary fleshed out the action on the screen. Would have scored higher if they didnt have a double count out as the finish."

The Hercules one, where Billy Jack powers out, they break contact on the hands and then carry on trying to break the hold. It's already broken lads! Move on! Haynes' offence between that and his full nelson is dreadful and he has no babyface fire at all. Then the Haynes full nelson, where they're supposed to tumble out of the ring with it applied, is broken before they're even into the ropes and Haynes falling outside makes no sense."

This feud began over who had a better full nelson, which is petty considering the full nelson is a fairly simple move to perform. The match end in a double count out for some unknown reason, to protect both guys, I guess."

Trotzdem wirkt die Partie nicht zu aufgesetzt und bleibt intensiv genug, um sie knapp nach oben wegzurunden."

The double count out finish was not good either have Haynes win clean or more likely have Hercules and Heenan cheat to win. The post-match blood during this era shocked me. Overall, all okay match but not good."

With that out of the way... The match is a pretty decent strongman contest. It's a little plodding in parts, but I thought it was good enough for what it was (personally I always enjoy a good press slam). The finish feels like a bit of a cop out but is well executed so I didn't mind it too much, and I enjoyed the post-match. Perfectly fine in its position as the second match on the card."

[5.0] "It's the Battle of the Full Nelson! This was a standard power affair, built around simple but effective psychology. Both men did a sound job fighting over and setting up their version of the full nelson, targeting the back of their opponents and teasing the crowd a bit before finally locking the move in. Billy Jack came out on top in the final exchange, but they both spilled to the floor shortly after. This led to Haynes locking in the hold on Hercules on the floor, giving us a lame double count-out. Afterward, BJH stupidly chased Heenan to the ring, causing him to get jumped by Hercules, who busted him up with some chain shots. Needless to say, this was a much better match than what I was anticipating. [**1/2]"

[4.0] "A really dull power match. I liked both men fighting over applying the full nelson to each other but the match had a bs double count-out finish so we didn't even get a good payoff to that battle."
cactus wrote on 14.05.2021:
[4.0] "A basic power match, pitting the two users of the Full Nelson up against each other. Hercules cuts one of the most batshit promos ever before the match, talking about his time in Ancient Rome. The match starts with an intense staredown after which Haynes gets his shine in before he's brutally cut off by a Herc lariat. Billy Jack Haynes refuses to tap out to Hercules' Full Nelson and once he's able to lock in one of his own, Hercules launches himself with Haynes still on his back out of the ring. The result of this one is a double countout after they refuse to get back into the ring. Hercules busts open and lays out Haynes with a chain shot. I'm not going to hate on the non-finish, as this made Hercules look like a monster and it protected the babyface from having to tap out from the Full Nelson. Decent enough."

The idea being that Hercules full nelson is unbeatable. Really no conclusion or danger built up and although there were no sloppy transitions, the match lacked any psychology."

To be honest, I didn't expect anything special from their match, but they were able to jump above their heads. Always thought Hercules was a terrible wrestler but on this show he was really really good"
