[6.0] "Good work from Randy Orton on the leg of the Undertaker. Unfortunately, I found that it lacked rhythm and that it didn't engage the audience. The finish with the intervention of Bob Orton is average. I prefer their match from a few months ago at WrestleMania 21. (3*1/4)"

[6.0] "A fine enough match with some interesting spots. Heat isn't interesting but it's not bad. Might be one of the earliest examples of Orton's "Vintage" DDT. This is definitely the lull between their matches at WrestleMania and Armageddon."

It was definitely a unique way to make the match have a back and forth feel, but the finish of the match where Undertaker was distracted by Bob Orton's weird disguise didn't really work that well. It was a way to continue the feud I suppose but it could have been better than that."

[6.0] "Match is slow and seems a bit boring. This is reflected in the first part, and the second part is short but faster. The first part is that Undertaker suppressed Randy, in which Randy attacked Randy's hand, and Randy also sold it. In addition, other key points happened in Randy's mastery of the situation on the field. The turning point of the first part of the story happened in a miscalculation of Undertaker. He stuck his leg on the corner post, which gave Randy an opportunity to attack Undertaker's leg. Randy's leg work was excellent, and he attacked Undertaker's leg almost all the time in the first part. Undertaker's Selling is also excellent. From the beginning of attacking his leg to the end of the match, his leg has been injured. The second part is a small climax. Both of them are ready to beat each other after finishing the first part, but Randy's father pretended to be an audience and interfered with the game, resulting in Undertaker being knocked down by RKO and winning. This match is mainly leg work. The story is short, but dramatic. This match is to tell readers that there is a follow-up to this feud story."

[7.0] "Undertaker-Orton was one of the best rivalries of 2005, and included 2 outstanding matches. One at Wrestlemania, the other at Armageddon. Between the two, we have this match which is not bad, far from it, but a bit disappointing. It was still a good performance, with a predictable, twist ending to keep the rivalry going. Orton in 2005 was quite fast and agile, which always provides a good pairing with Taker. The leg work was smart, but a little too long. In the end, the match falls just short of a higher grade, despite the potential it had to be much better. But hey, we still have the two matches mentioned earlier so it's not the end of the world."

[7.0] "Similar to WrestleMania 21, Undertaker started off the match by beating up the brash young upstart, while Orton had to use cheap tricks to get one over the legend. The turning point saw 'Taker missing a big boot in the corner, hurting his leg in the process, and this match visibly picked up once Orton went to town on said leg. Orton is a more engaging worker here when compared to WM 21, as he's better working on top when having a limb to pick apart. This was met with some surprisingly excellent selling from UT, who never forgot to sell it, even in his comeback or after the match. Orton's cut-offs to 'Taker's offense were really, really good. After reversing Randy's crossbody into a chokeslam, a disguised Bob Orton came out to distract 'Taker, giving Orton the chance to end the match with an out-of-nowhere RKO. This was surprisingly better than expected, with 'Taker putting on some consistent selling and Randy being in greater form than his 'Mania self. Only things this lacked to be better than the WM 21 bout were: a clean finish, a hotter crowd, and better pacing. [***1/2]"

[6.0] "Initially, Randy Orton honestly didn't have much of a chance to take revenge from the Undertaker from WrestleMania, but fortunately for the "legend killer" a chance turned up in the match and Randy was already actively working on the dead man's leg, which definitely increased his chances of success. This part of the fight was thoughtful, but a little sluggish, but nevertheless it was interesting to follow it and the final maneuver with a dummy fan as a trump card in the sleeve finally predetermined the outcome of the fight."

[6.0] "This was a solid match designed to put over Orton in a very cheap way. Some of the match was boring because Orton worked over the left leg for a lot of it even though Orton didn't have submission moves to make fans believe he might win. Solid stuff **3/4"
