[3.0] "Taker works the arm. Clothesline gets 2. Taker rope walk is blocked as Test crotches him, then they fight outside. Back in, Test chokes away. Corner clothesline and he attacks the arm but it goes nowhere. Taker gets a backdrop suplex, but Test punches back. Taker DDT gets 2. He gets his rope walk this time and snake eyes, but Test stops a choke slam. Another one hits, and the Un Americans run in and Taker beats them up but Test gets the boot, but naturally it's only 2 1/2. Taker gets the tombstone in the worst match of the night."
[5.0] "**1/2 (5/10) You could debate that th match between Test and Taker was the mildest of a night that was red hot. But by no means was it a slouch among tallboys. This had to be the tallest encounter of the show, as well. Usually, apprehensiveness takes over whenever I approach Taker in a feud with contemporary giants due to the low success rate he had in his career with such encounters. Luckily for Takertest was not a terrible technician. That's story has always been one of the saddest stories in the business history. But on shining detail you can light toward his memory is that he managed, on this night, to give Taker one of his better fights against men around the same height as he."
[3.0] "This is a slow, kind of groggy fight between two Giants. Test just didn't look all that impressive to me outside of his size. He was kind of lumbering. The two best near falls were after the chokeslam and the big boot. They were smart not to give this much time"
[5.0] "Test is proof that just being a big guy with the right look isn't enough even in WWE. A generic big man brawl, with Taker especially looking slow and not particularly interested. For once the interference helped the match and the story, with the American Badass fighting off all the Un-Americans, and winning despite that."
[4.0] "This one looked like a huge mismatch on paper but surprisingly enough Test got a decent amount of offense. The whole USA angle was pretty weak here though. **"
[6.0] "Kinda underrated like some other Undertaker matches from this period. Looked like a fight and a contest, maybe got lost among the other great matches on the show but it was alright."
[5.0] "The weakest match on the stacked Summerslam card. It wasn't terrible or anything, just a standard big man match with an obvious winner as Patriot Undertaker stands tall. It's another example of the stop/start pushes Test got in his entire WWE career."
[2.0] "This match was very slow and it dragged on for too long. Nothing really important happened just two big guys having a forgettable match that could have happened on a TV show instead of an event."
[4.0] "SummerSlam 2002 is one of the best editions of the annual summer festival for a lot of reasons. From Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio to Brock Lesnar vs. The Rock to Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H and more. That said, this match is not one of the reasons why this show is legendary. The classic case of the patriotic American versus the anti-American foreigner, the match had the potential to be good. We had seen the previous month Test and Brock Lesnar gave us an intense and entertaining hoss fight. Alas, this match is just adequate. There's not much to say about it, it just serves to pass the time between matches much better, and have a cheap pop because "Yay USA! ""
[2.0] "Of a nullity without name. The match was broken up on the floor with some logical interventions considering the story but nothing crazy. It wasn't disappointing since we expected nothing"
[4.0] "Felt we could've accomplished down in this one in about 4 minutes. Test and Taker have a decent hoss fight Christian and Storm interfere Taker takes them out which allows Test to score a near fall off a big boot. Taker hits a tombstone and wins of course.**1/2"
[4.0] "Very slow and dull, but the interference of the UnAmericans helped the match. Alongside that this was the shortest match on the card, and the story of Undertaker overcoming the numbers and finally putting Test to bed did help this match a little. Also the aftermath was a nice feel good moment."
[7.0] "It was a hard hitting bout and a very good one. You'd expcect Undertaker to be kept quite strong which is what happened. Test however puts on a good show with his offense giving Taker's a run for its money. Ultimately, everything looked fine and the ending really elevated the whole result."
[3.0] "A heatless, dull, and boring match. I liked Test a bit, but there's no way he could carry this version of 'Taker to anything. The worst match of the show by far. [*1/2]"
[7.0] "I enjoyed this match! It was pretty basic but it's a big hoss fight kept at a solid pace, with a strong near-fall toward the end and a rare sight of the Tombstone Piledriver at that time."
[3.0] "Well this was definitely a match. Nothing really happens, chokeslam, Christian and Lance Storm interfere and get chokeslammed, tombstone, Taker wins."
[4.0] "Fun big men match with a simple "America rules" backstory and an heavy pounding between two giants. They may not know their history but the US sure can win with the aid of Britney."
[5.0] "Fairly forgettable match. Doesn't get out of second gear. Story here is Test is unAmerican and Undertaker actually loves america hence he's upset. Appearances by other un Americans Lance Storm and Christian in the match."
[4.0] "Langweilige Big Men Schlacht, die erst interessant wird, wenn das komplette Stable eingreift und der Undertaker alles platt machen darf. Der Patrioten Moment am Ende gibt natürlich die gewünschten Pops"
[4.0] "There isn't many things to say about this match, it's an adequate match where The Undertaker dominates Test. I don't think I will watch this match another time for a long time."
[4.0] "Weder gut noch schlecht. Keine großen Botches oder so, aber auch keine wirkliche Matchstory oder ähnliches. Takers Signature Moves kriegen ganz gute Pops und die Un-Americans sind ganz solide als Heels(**)."
