Und selbst dann ist es nicht wert, diese Zeit zu investieren, da das Match ebenfalls einfach richtig mies ist. Dass AEW diese Matchart wieder ausgepackt hat lässt mich doch am gesunden Menschenverstand der Verantwortlichen zweifeln."
[2.0] "30 minutes of guys taking big bumps for a meaningless weapons match that stops on multiple occasions to highlight all the terrible comedy gimmicks in the company (OC is lazy lol, Marko Stunt lol). An aggressively unfunny and unserious match that goes on forever and just would not end. If the match ended 5 minutes after Cage came out, at least it would do something for him, but it just kept going. This is by far the worse of AEW, it reeks of mid 2010s indyrific ladder matches and "lol so random" humor, it sucked then in front of 100 people and it sucks here in the opening match of a major PPV. It's not a 0 because some of the guys do manage to sneak in some good work in the middle of this catastrophe and they do take some gnarly bumps. which I have to respect, but it's a terrible match and the fact that it's for a World title shot is laughable"
[5.0] "The beginning with Kazarian and Sky was very good but once other wrestlers start getting into the ring the match becomes a mess in a bad way with just a few good spots. Cage's debut was cool and looked very dominant. Darby was probably the biggest waste in this match as his reckless wrestling style wasn't used despite a sick missed double foot stomp on the ladder. The ending was a bit sloppy and in general this match wat too long, boring and there it weren't many great spots. 5/10 - 2.5*/5*"
[8.0] "I like gimmick matches, I like fast paced matches, I like characters, and I like variety. This was a bit of a AEW/ROH Hybrid match. There were creative spots and daring spots in this."
[8.0] "certainly one of the strangest matches I've ever seen. although good, almost everything about it sounded a bit artificial and the spots almost always sounded too forced. The result was kind of random and none of the participants had exactly much relevance. A 8 for craziness, but definitely not one of the best in history"
[7.0] "A fun spotfest type of match. Orange Cassidy was the big star of the match with his comedy working perfectly. Darby did his crazy bumps as per usual in these types of matches. Cage winning his debut made it seem like he would be a major player, but it never really worked out for him."

[7.0] "Good first half in this match until Brian Cage entered the scene, which was a cool debut. But, the match just watered down with spots that were unnecessary and sloppy. It dragged on and on until the definite win here for Cage who had a decent showing honestly. He almost murdered one of the current pillars in Allin and most of the stars in this match. 3.5 out of 5 stars!"
[6.0] "Far from a perfect match. I immediately said that this is not the composition that I would like to see. After that, the Phoenix was also removed, but Janela was put in. I wouldn't say I don't love Joey, I just love Phoenix. And without Phoenix, the expected match would have been worse even in the head. Instead of Janela, you could add a lot of people. Evans, Angelico, Daniels, etc. ? This is a regular multi-sided, ladder match? Nothing special. This match can't even be compared to the match in Orlando. ***1/4"
[7.0] "This a fun typical ladder match, Joey and Darby bump like crazy and Brian Cage goes ham and gets buried under a poker chip only to rise up and wreck house even more."
[7.0] "Even though I'm clearly not an AEW fan, I loved this match ! There were not that many useless spots, everybody shined and they picked the right guy to win it (IMO). Hard to complain here really."
[9.0] "I absolutely loved this match and I honestly don't understand the hate for it at all. Great spots, brutal action, a killer debut, what else would you want? Loved the start between Sky and Kaz, Allin and Janela stood out, and Cage's debut was very well done. Also, going into it I was skeptical of the staggered entries, but I thought it ended up working very well for this match, better than it has in the casino battle royales in the past. ****1/4+."
[10.0] "Obviously I am much in the minority on this, but I had a blast watching it. I enjoyed the chaotic nature of the match, I loved Cage debuting and tearing the ladder in half, I loved Darby coming in and doing some crazy offense and bumps all over the place, loved all the Orange Cassidy stuff, Luchasaurus looked great, Scorpio Sky, almost everyone looked great to me here."
[7.0] "I actually enjoyed this match, Darby had some cool spots, like usual, Orange Cassidy was entertaining and quite funny. Brian Cage winning was expected, but i din't mind."
[2.0] "A promising fight for the fighters included in it, but it ended up being quite disappointing. Little intensity, and a very long fight to have so few spots, in addition, I still do not understand how they do not give Darby Allin, for example, a deserved push since he is an exceptional fighter and a clear fan favorite, but no, he had to win the big and bloated muscle fighter who just debuted, while wrestlers who have been breaking his back for months for the company remain in the midcard. Little by little this company is becoming WWE in that regard."
[1.0] "This felt dead for the entire duration of it. Extremely lengthy too which didn't do it any favors. Solid AEW debut for Cage I guess, but not a good match at all. To sum it up, it was very long & 100% forgettable."
[3.0] "Very boring match. That match doesn't make sense to me. What if one of the first two entrants grabs the giant chip? And a debutant entered last and won the match what a surprise lol (just like Casino Battle Royal)."

[2.0] "Eine der sinnlosesten Matchstrukturen, die ich jemals als "ernst" verkauft gesehen habe. Jeder GCW-Clusterfvck ist smarter aufgebaut als dieses hausgemachte Chaos. Als Cage dann seine Probleme hat, Allin richtig auf der Leite zu positionieren hört dann der Squash-Spaß halt auch noch auf. Das war wirklich einfach nur mangelhaft in meinen Augen."
[4.0] "Oddly paced with that strange stipulation, overbooked as hell, and there wasn't that many great spots for a multi-man ladder match. Apart from the always hilarious Orange Cassidy, there's not many things to save in that match, once again AEW choses the wrong match to start a PPV."
[7.0] "It was a fine enough Ladder match, even though a little bit too long. Some cool spots here and there, and all participants had their time to shine."
[7.0] "This was quite entertaining. Cage looked like a badass during this match, murdering Darby Allin and splitting a ladder in half. Lots of nice spots during this match and this match offered a little bit of everything which I can not complain about."
