10 | 06.05.2025 | Robot3872 | 9.0 | This match went smoothly between Goldberg and Scott Steiner both had very good chemistry and were able to get in a lot of power moves against each other. Both were in great shape there were impressive feats of strength on both sides. The interference from Midajah and Vince Russo was a shame it detracted from the match needlessly. But while Goldberg and Scott Steiner were able to wrestle, it was great. |

12 | 31.03.2025 | Wlliamofbaskerville | 8.0 | Considering the state of WCW in the year 2000 which was unwatchable garbage. This is like a diamond in a cow pat. Two jacked up meatheads throwing each other around like the other is Dean Malenko is the wrestling equivalent of a Kaiju battle in a Godzilla or Gamera movie. One of the best hoss fights and best match of WCW in the year 2000 one of the last great WCW matches before it was put out of his misery a few months later. |
13 | 26.03.2025 | Heartbreakkid2003 | 8.0 | Meathead wrestling kicks ass. Two physical beasts beating the shit out of each other for almost 15 minutes this match kicks ass. Probably the best match of 2000 for wcw 4/5 |

21 | 25.11.2024 | ShaliK | 4.0 | I don't understand why so many people like this match. The overbooking is horrible, it's exactly how I hate it. Outside interference on Goldberg and he can't counter it. Maybe it's just that Goldberg is using a few different moves than usual? It's not unwatchable but it's not nearly that good. (2*) |

24 | 22.10.2024 | FelipeTalksGraps | 7.0 | [3.5*] This match is fucking awesome lol. Just a complete hoss-battle with some attacks that made me thought this was a legit fight. Like, Goldberg did an Electric Chair on Steiner and dropped him hard in a pretty weird way and the Big Poppa Pump just shoot got up and gave him an insane strike to the face. There is no fucking way this was scripted LMFAO. It was just 15-minutes of one guy dropping the other on his head with Suplexes, Bombs and Slams and it ruled so fucking much. I would have honestly given it a 8.0 if it was not the Vince Russo interferences, this guy is just not charismatic, it is not a good heat, it is a go-away heat and yeah, he tried to fuck the match up. Fortunately, it was so beast, stiff and heated that it was impossible to not fucking rule. |

36 | 20.04.2024 | MaxMarvelous | 7.0 | Does it turn into an overbooked mess by the end absolutely however, there are things from this match that simply will not be replicated nor duplicated thanks to these two men with the moves and strikes done given to each other due to their size and athleticism and the personalities involved. Peak Big Poppa Pump Form and Bill still shows some juice left from the original 98 run. The match goes downhill once Madajah shows up and gets dowsed with gasoline and set on fire with Russo. |
37 | 31.03.2024 | TigerDiver | 8.0 | There's something special about watching these two monsters tossing the living hell out of each other like they were nothing. Goldberg overpowering the Steiner Recliner by dropping Big Poppa Pump on the top rope was a sight to behold, as was Steiner tossing Bill over the top rope with an avalanche overhead suplex! Vince Russo feeling the need to stick his nose in what might potentially be a MOTYC was extremely unnecessary, but at least it gave us the classic story of Goldberg trying to overcome the odds, only to fall short in the end. Overbooking aside, this was a great, stiff, energetic brawl full of intense power struggles between two burly hosses. It was easily one of the few bright spots of WCW in that disastrous year. 39 | 01.03.2024 | mxkami | 2.0 | This match is dogs***. But I like watching it because Steiner goes medieval on Goldberg after G'berg blindly throws Steiner into the ropes and almost kills him. All of the interference spots are horrrrrrrrrrrible. Russo, to quote the guys from the Deadlock Podcast, is "built like a slap nut" and rips his shirt off like he won the match even though he didn't do jacks*** but hit Goldberg with an obviously plastic or foam bat with absolutely no force. Midajah looked nervous and like she was just permanently frozen in place so that she wouldn't miss her interference cues. The match is a mess. Idk how Steiner could walk after the spot where Goldberg just dropped him like a sack of rocks, let alone then proceed to shoot on Goldberg for about 5 mins, but hey, life is full of happy accidents, am I right? |
40 | 29.02.2024 | benny5bellys | 7.0 | A reminder of just how cool Goldberg was and how crap Russo is. Bill does some ludicrous things in this match and how he gets out of the Steiner Recliner is outrageous. Shame about Russo getting involved, get rid of that and shave off 5 minutes and this would be an all timer. |

52 | 15.08.2023 | cactus | 7.0 | Despite the less-than-picturesque execution of the wrestling, I found this match bizarrely compelling and I was rooting for a Goldberg victory. Steiner throwing Goldberg around with reckless abandon was fun to watch, as dangerous as it was. Scotty was a heat magnet here, constantly bickering with the fans. Goldberg managed to pull out some cool counters that changed the momentum of the match. The Russo interference got tiresome quick, but I suppose it could be much more offensive considering some of the horrendous stuff that WCW put out during its final full year. |

55 | 15.04.2023 | Sky23 | 6.0 | Scrappy big man stuff, just fighting each other without any pretense of being anything else, but sometimes that is all a wrestling match needs to be. It makes sense in the storyline (even though the storyline makes no sense) plus, you don't expect any less or more from Steiner and Goldberg. Points off for Goldberg not knowing how to be in the Steiner Recliner. |

60 | 08.12.2022 | Derek Joists | 6.0 | There is no excuse for a near 15 minute Goldberg match, although it's far from his worst match. Him and Steiner do a decent job of throwing each other around, which is undeniably impressive, but there was no real coherent story, and the interference (as usual) made it pointless. Take a few minutes off the time and get rid of Russo and it could have been genuinely good. As it is, it was still one of the few watchable matches Goldberg ever had. |

63 | 16.09.2022 | 5nicoShuffle | 3.0 | I really got into this early on, but it went far to long. Goldberg got blown up and got sloppy with his moves on Steiner. Steiner too wasn't great with some of his spots, damn near Belly-to-Bellying Goldberg on his head. It got really obnoxious when Russo & Midajah were waffling Goldberg with Weapons. In a weird way this may have protected Goldberg a little, but even so he was starting to get jobbed out unnecessarily more and more around this time. |

This match could have been good until the beginning of the moment with terrible overbooking during the match with repeated attacks on Goldberg, from that moment the match finally fell into complete shit. |
81 | 22.04.2020 | TNBG2381 | 4.0 | Vince Russo is a abomination to anything good. This match was not terrible, but the run ins were just too much. Nothing special just two big men hitting big moves with no technique whatsoever. ***1/2 |
82 | 21.03.2020 | Caas | 2.0 | I understand from where the positive reviews come, but to me this match was overbooked, peak-Russo nonsense. Goldberg was surprisingly solid and sympathetic, and Steiner was a very believable burly bad guy, beyond that strong dynamic, there is nothing positive to say about this one. * |

92 | 17.12.2017 | test85 | 8.0 | Goldberg & Steiner liefern überraschenderweise das MotN. Zurecht als Clash of the Titans bezeichnet. |
