[8.0] "Originally, the main event of this show was supposed to be Mayu Iwatani vs. Sareee, but unfortunately Sareee got sick so Iroha was a last minute replacement. Hopefully we get that match down the line. The lasting memory from this match will be the last five minutes or so, when Takumi was just killing Mayu in a variety of entertaining ways. Thats not to say there was nothing good about the lead-up, as Takumis arm work was solid and Mayu had her fair share of offense so it wasnt too one-side, but the last few minutes were just a clinic on how to put down an opponent. A really entertaining match between two of the better wrestlers in Japan and a great way to end the event."

[10.0] "Just one of the best single match in Stardom history. Mayu Iwatani was supposed to face Saree for the World of Stardom championship, but Saree felt ill and Takumi Iroha took her spot on the card for a non-title match. And this impromptu change tunred out to be an exhalirating and shocking match with Iroha showing the world why she is one the best by absolutely destroying hte champion, with her trademark incredible kicks but also her technique and sheer strength. Meanwhile Mayu gave an astounding demonstration of her formidable bumping skills and selling, she put over Takumi in a way you rarely she reigning champion do. Each time Mayu seemed to make a comeback, Takumi would extinguish it in a confident, brutal fashion. TaKumi Iroha would take a decisive win over Mayu Iwatani that led to a remarkable title match later this year. Mayu's reaction when the match was over was just fanstastic, she begged her former kouhai to challenge for her belt with nothing but admiration."

[9.0] "Just a vicious, fantastic match between two greats. Iroha showed a bunch of charisma here, and a bit of an arrogant side to perhaps play the hero in Stardom, but it all worked. Mayu had taped up shoulders and throughout this whole match she kept trying to stall Takumi until she couldn't any longer. ****1/4"

[9.0] "Excellent match. Very fluid action and not a single dull moment throughout the entire match. The pacing was excellent, Takumi dictated the pace most of the match- Her offense was powerful, quick and Mayu's tape up shoulder gave Takumi an edge. Mayu tried her best to keep up against the onslaught of Takumi, her timely and sharp counters were useful tools against the more powerful and dominating Takumi but everytime she tried to get something going, Takumi would go back to the tape up shoulder or cut her off with swift and powerful kicks. The ending sequence was a clinic from Takumi :- She kept hammering down at Mayu with kicks, powerbombs and some more kicks, Mayu could only counter with roll ups trying to pick up a victory out of nowhere. The structure of the match is similar to that of Okada Vs Ishii back in G1 26 when Okada had no answer to Ishii's onslaught and ultimately fell to his Chaos teammate. Easily One of the best women's match I have ever watched. ****3/4"

[8.0] "A great match just held back by a few issues. I've seen Takumi before, but this was the first time I really saw how great she can be. Perhaps that's because she was paired with the incredible Mayu, but I definitely think Takumi held her own here. The entire match was based around Takumi slashing away at Mayu with her signature stiff kicks and intermittent arm-targeting while Mayu attempted some comebacks and leg-targeting but ultimately never got enough momentum going. Takumi's kicks were really vicious here. Like a few top Japanese wrestlers (such as Dragon Gate's Mochizuki), she mixes in her kicks' real impact sounds alongside leg-slaps. Usually I hate this, since the kicks are usually already, or *should* already be, impactful enough that such artificial extra sounds aren't needed, but Takumi blended the sounds together to amplify the impact, and she thankfully mostly managed to hide her leg-slaps. Mayu sold all of those kicks like death, and it was great seeing the arrogance come out from Takumi as she took joy in taking her down. Takumi would also attempt some arm-targeting, with her holds always looking very good and Mayu selling it all well in real-time, but then Mayu would sadly end up completely no-selling it, and Takumi wouldn't return to target it as frequently as she should have if she really wanted to make that a viable path to victory. Mayu got quite a few comebacks but they were always quite short and felt more like hope spots. Her energy and agility were always great during those sequences, and she would do well to throw in a few big kicks and power moves of her own to try wear Takumi down to her level, but it was never enough to overcome the damage Takumi had inflicted on her. Takumi once again looked awesome as she absolutely rag-dolled Mayu with some amazing power moves, with Mayu's natural flexibility making then look even more brutal. Mayu's exhausted, completely beaten-up selling throughout the second half was fantastic, making Takumi's work look even better. Mayu smartly attempted to work over Takumi's legs a few times but she never managed to get anything consistent going. I liked how it was implied that Mayu could have been more successful had she targeted Takumi's legs earlier, but like with the work on Mayu's arm, Takumi never sold the legs much outside of Mayu's real-time targeting. It was never as big a factor as Takumi's arm work, but I still think Takumi could have sold more to make it feel more meaningful to the match. Mayu got a few more great hope spots towards the end, resulting in an awesome finishing stretch where Takumi frantically destroyed Mayu with kick flurries and power moves while Mayu desperately attempted to counter with flash pins (which was all she could muster). There was groundwork here for an amazing match, but this was ultimately still a great match with a few amazing ideas and moments. Definitely a strong recommendation. ***3/4"

[10.0] "What started as a friendly exhibition turned into a vicious beatdown as Takumi dominated Mayu in a way she very rarely is dominated. Mayu's great at working from underneath because of her bumping, but she really outdid herself here, bumping, selling, and ragdolling all over the place to make Iroha look like a killer. Speaking of Iroha, she put on a stellar performance herself, relying less on kicks than she usually does, but displaying some great power moves and targetting Mayu's taped-up right arm. My only major disappointment with this match was Mayu dropping the arm-selling in favour of a more generic finishing stretch, but even that was done well as most of Mayu's near falls would come from roll-ups and out-of-nowhere counters. (****3/4)"

[9.0] "YES! This is what we in the business like to call a banger. What a match holy hell. This match started friendly, in fact for the first couple minutes Iwatani and Iroha were grappling with smiles on their faces, but this quickly devolved into something more aggressive. That lawn dart into the post had my jaw drop, and that kick-started this match into a more bitter affair, with Takumi working over Iwatani? s injured shoulder and laying in some brutal, swift kicks. Then there was that dive to the outside over the post, my god what a spot. Iwatani tried to use her agility and explosivity to counter Iroha? s size advantage, but Iroha was too much, and her size along with her striking prowess and speed allowed her to dominate Iwatani for much of this match. Mayu fought back well at points, with spots like the top rope powerbomb and her copying Iroha? s high-angle german suplex, but it was all in vain, with Iroha outmatching Iwatani to get the shock victory. Such a great match, they didn? t try to make this a 30-minute epic and it worked in their favor, especially considering the more speed-focused and impactful Joshi style, allowing them to tell an incredible story across the backdrop of some jaw-dropping action. ****1/2"

Mayu also produced a masterclass in terms of storytelling and selling. The last stretch of this match was pure wrestling perfection, Takumi trying to put Mayu away with a range of power moves, Mayu desperately countering with roll ups but coming up short, Takumi eventually finished her off with the running three. ****3/4"

Takumi dominates a vast majority of the match, which was surprising as most interpromotional matches are normally a lot more 50/50, however, her offense was great and Mayu's selling and bumping in return was equally as good."

[7.0] "Takumi Iroha -vs- Mayu Iwatani [*** 1/2] Iroha was a last-minute replacement for Sareee, so the match lacked any specific hype or heat to build on. That's the main set-back. However, they delivered a stunning trashing. While originally a Stadom girl, Iroha wrestles represents Marvelous now, yet got to dominate the Stardom Red Belt holder in a convincing manner. Iwatani is so likable that it doesn't really hurt her that much, but not sure this was best for business unless it leads to a actual title bout down the line. At least there was some super hot bits in this bout, and they kept it stiff in true ace-style! Honestly, I'm not that familiar with Iroha yet, so that might explain one of the reasons why I'm not as high on the match an many others, but the match definitely has a lot of positivity and one that one can easily sit back and enjoy."

MOTY candidate, but the year is long, so let's wait but don't forget this amazing match."

Iroha's kicks are just brutal, and she performed in this match one of the most vicious bridging German suplex I've seen. Iwatani is a superb seller. I liked how Iroha focused on Iwatani's injured arm. I can't wait for their rematch. This match is a must watch. I hope Iroha will become regular on Stardom, or making American appearance with time. ****1/2"

The pace was amazing and Iroha's kicks were all damn sick, the closing stretch is so beautiful that makes you want to rewatch it five times per day. ****1/4"

And Mayu was tremendous as an underdog. Her comeback was very nice and energetic as well. The counter moves toward the end were dramatic enough for crowd investment. The near falls later were well-done as well. A thumb up for the Main event."

Iroha controlled the pace, with power and precision striking, while Mayu fought from underneath with slick counters and aerial maneuvers. Iroha's attacks on the bandaged shoulder of Mayu were brutal; and Mayu's ragdoll selling sold the explosive power of Iroha. This was an epic meeting of aces. ****1/2"

[9.0] "Takumi Iroha was pretty outstanding in this match. There was a great aura around her. She dominated and she reveled in that dominance. She ragged rolled Mayu numerous times with her suplexes and nailed her with flashy, but pinpoint kicks. Mayu can take bumps on her neck like a champ and there was plenty here. Mayu had some great aerial offence as well, to make up for the size difference. Her head scissors counter to the initial Running Three was great and got a great nearfall. The closing stretch was a great ? that didn't work? type closing stretch where Iroha hit bomb after bomb until she put Mayu down for the three. Iroha was excellent on top, Mayu bumped superbly for her. ****1/4"

Mayu's comebacks were great too. Liked the work on the shoulder. The closing stretch was bonker with awesome striking display from Takumi and Mayu's technique too. Just great match. (****1/2)"

These two had a great match previously in Marvelous but this one was even better in every way. Extra points go to Mayu's bump for both the Running Three and Takumi's powerbomb. ****3/4"
