305.10.2023TSwifty4.0A soulless moves exhibition with no effort to make big spots meaningful. A few hard strikes and power moves gave me the impression this would be their best match together, but then they began moving from one big spot to another with little to no selling. Keith Lee no-sells a top rope Canadian Destroyer and a moonsault right after. That's rough, man. **

1101.08.2021brickhitterSam5.0Fine big man match, thought it is pretty short. Top rope Canadian destroyer should? ve ended it, though.
1207.05.2021TheLegitBoss8.0This was once again a fantastic match between these two in NXT, not as good as their first meeting in the black-and-gold brand but still god damn solid. It was a shorter version than what they usually do since there's a commercial that hurts the whole dynamic of the match, but just to see these guys doing their thing together on free TV is something incredible and maybe not something they would have imagined when they were doing classics on Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. I feel like each of their matches are symbolic and that's what makes the magic of this rivalry and their different encounters over the years. I really liked this match which was not their best together but still really cool, impossible to get bored in front of a spotfest like this one. I'm going to paraphrase something that Mauro said during the match "they're two super heavyweights that do things you think you'd see with cruiserweights", I don't think you could sum up their matches better. Lee vs Dijakovic, it's always magic and this was again the case here, with Dijak's Canadian Destroyer being my favorite moment of the match.

1830.01.2020AndoCommando4.0Any match with a top rope Canadian Destroyer for a nearfall, that has it not factor into the match thereafter, is likely a match that I'm not fond of. A shame really, as the start consisting of power moves and hard strikes had me invested in potentially having these spots serve as the driving force for a simple yet effective story. Once again they both return to their indie roots and craft the equivalent of a big fireworks show gone wrong. Excluding the Corkscrews and Moonsault, It becomes null and void. Buddy Murphy was right on the money about their matches. **

Solide, könnte man sagen.

4827.09.2019Makai Club 1.0Just as bad as their other forced epic. Only with more outrageous moves that are there for flashy but don't mean anything and are quickly pushed aside. Like the flip piledriver off the top rope. There is no reason for that to be in the match. Keith Lee no sells it and wins a minute later anyway, it should finish the match regardless of size and its just there to promote the "we're big and we can do big moves" motif both these guys have. When you have Buddy Murphy, who is clearly influenced by spotty junior wrestling telling you that you're throwing moves around with little meaning, you know that you're doing something wrong. *,

5227.09.2019cricketbandit9.0Hectic match to start to the show. I love hoss fights and this was a different sort of hoss fight with a lot of aerial offence but still really enjoyable. This won't go down well with people who don't like "spotfests" but if you like a 10 minute match that goes at a hundred miles an hour you'll love this

5727.09.2019TheRatemaker6.0I stand in the middle of these opposite reviews. I think this was between okay and good. I don't think this is a great spotfest, this is pretty much a bottom tier Janela's spotfest where you run through your spots but really didn't do much in between. They tried to do some storytelling that Dijakovic was impressed by Lee's power, that was wacky it's the 3rd time (If I remember correctly) they faced each other in NXT, so the "I'm impressed by you power" type story isn't really a good story, they missed one or two stuff, the callings were a bit too loud. It got over with the crowd. (***)
5927.09.2019Resident9.0I enjoyed the match. I thought it was great. I thought all of their matches against each other have been great. Top rope Destroyer looked great to me and almost ended the match and also it was cool to see both guys doing Moomsaultd at their size
6027.09.2019respect-wres9.0Another wacky match from these two. A pounce that led to Dijakovic falling out the ring, a choke slam on the apron, a corkscrew plancha from Lee, a top rope canadian destroyer. Wow. What a cruiserweight match from these two behemoths. A notch down from their previous match, but still a display of athleticism. We need a final match at Takeover.
6127.09.2019BongStroman9.0Spotfest galore. But maaaaaaaaaaaaan was it fun. I could watch these 2 fight each other every week. 9 minutes was all they needed. If they book them in a 25 minute Takeover match. They will both become mega stars. Loved this. That canadian destroyer of course being the biggest moment. Among a huge amount of moments. 4 stars for a very short match
