[8.0] "Main event of the first hour sees the Undisputed Era draped in gold. Great tv match that progressed from mat-grappling to the classic NXT kick out finisher haven style. Ending was pretty dumb with Dream kicking out of the first End of Heartache after some interference, to immediately getting up to get superkicked by Cole and just lose to another End of Heartache. Unnecessary and overindulgent. The full sail atmosphere is absolutely terrific though and bought in to every moment. Long live the Messiah of the backbreaker. ***3/4"

[8.0] "Really solid match between Strong and Dream which was undoubtedly their best encounter together, they had a pair of fun matches together during that short 2019-2020 period but this one is undoubtedly their most qualitative one and it was even better than their Steel Cage bout. It must be said that this was the perfect context for them to deliver as they were facing off for the North American Championship in a twenty-plus minute match in the main event of the black-and-gold brand's first TV show, they had every reason to be motivated and they busted their ass here to deliver some very good action. It was perhaps a little too long to be honest but they always brought something of quality to the table and there was never a dull moment, Dream really got the crowd reacting like no one else at the time and the Full Sail would literally explode when he kicked out at the end of the match, that nearfall was nuts. It was clearly overbooked at the end but it was very well done, I remember being very happy to see Roddy Strong win a solo title in NXT at the time."

Roddy was good on top, working over Dream's mid-section w/ some brief holds, but mostly just slamming him down and lightning him up with those chops. Definitely brought the classic Roddy physicality into the thing there, and Dream was a solid babyface all the way through. Good match."
