The first two falls were wasted space which both performers went through like they needed a loo break, and with the necessity of them unceremoniously dumped the "match proper" could actually begin. Why intentionally hamstring your own pacing? CMLL can do it, they didn't with this one. Pity."

[7.0] "A fun lucha match that's dragged down a bit by some unfortunate and uncharacteristic Volador Jr. botches. Both of these guys are great workers. They're capable of better, but this bout is still well worth your time."
[6.0] "Aside from the usual CMLL habits where you throw the first two falls for the sake of it without making sense of it. These two didn't try to have a great match at all, this was auto pilot mode for Dragon Lee this night. They wrestled for like 1 or 2 minutes and did usual spots (which failed for some) without any particular setup. I hope to see a better match from these two in the future because I won't believe that they tried this night. (***1/4)"
