[5.0] "This was a match designed for Michael Cole to scream over, not a serious contest. I acknowledge that the performers worked hard but it also felt very passionless, an attempt at "big moments" to salvage a miserable storyline no one liked. Very sad to know this bunch of nothing was the last of Undertaker."

Finish was great with Elias interference, also I loved the part where mcintyre lines up for the claymore then boom spear. Takers sit up after the trash can bump was good too"

[8.0] "I am in shock how good Taker looks in this match, this man is simply amazing. Had me on edge a couple of times, even though this is almost every match with Taker in it ever: Shane does his trash can signature, and high risk action through the announcers' table, and Taker gets up after all of that, chokeslam, tombstone, match ends; at the same time, it's not a bother for me at all. Drew vs Deadman it's a absolute dream match, and I'm afraid this is the closest we can get to that dream, also they know it's a dream match-up so Taker and Drew have some cock-mesuring contest for a sec, love it. Elias' intervention was fine, and it added to the Takers' comeback later."

Everyone involved in this played their role well, even Elias's interference. Taker coming in with brief tags is so much better than him trying to work long matches at this stage in his career. The ending of Undertaker doing the sit up, and Reigns helping him to clear the ring for the win was great.****"

It worked well to hide the limitations of UT and Shane, and this was the best Taker has looked in years. Drew coming out of this looking great also, with an awesome shot of him stalking UT from behind being the highlight. [***1/2]"

[8.0] "Pretty excellent opening match between these four great performers and it's something that won't surprise anyone except those who criticized this match in advance when it was announced when Taker returned on an episode of Monday Night Raw, since Taker had decided to do this match to make us forget his terrible main event against Goldberg I don't think we should have judged that decision. The most important and cool thing for the fans is that this match delivered on top of having a real meaning for one of the four wrestlers, beyond the emotional aspect it was a fantastic tag match that only WWE has the secret to because they book it so well when they want to, unfortunately it doesn't happen often. Here it was your typical stipulation tag bout that we are used to seeing in this company but with some star-power and an epic side that was needed, the crowd was adorable with Taker by singing 'you still got it' from the beginning. Really nice brawl with good spots, a crowd on absolute fire and excellent booking, this match ruled."

[9.0] "This match was outstanding from start to finish. The Undertaker turned back the clocks for one night and both dished out tremendous offense and took some serious damage. We got the typical Shane McMahon moments, but they work well against the right opponents. As for Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns, it is no coincidence that they were on top soon thereafter. Both were strong in this one, including the incredible visual of McIntyre rising up behind Taker. This all added up to a match that was all about the experience. Taker turning in one more memorable in-ring performance with an absolutely electric crowd watching him do so. One of my personal favorite matches. 4.5 stars, 9 out of 10."

All four men (and Elias) delivered a great performance, but I'm most impressed with Undertaker, who was in incredible shape compared to 2015-2018. After a horrendous botch fest with Goldberg at Super ShowDown, this was a great way for Undertaker to prove that he can still put on good matches when booked correctly."
