[8.0] "Good match between Kento and Shuji Ishiwaka, at times with slow pace, but has great combinations between the two"

[4.0] "This was another overrated 2019 Miyahara match to add to the list of them. Ishikawa gave a good performance in this match but Miyahara's work was eye-rolling. It was quite enjoyable to watch Ishikawa give Miyahara a beatdown with all his strikes and power moves but it quickly got generic once they went outside the ring and had a slow brawl. People criticize New Japan for 10 minutes of grappling which has no impact on the match, but All Japan does something different. They always have an outside brawl and Miyahara has to get in his repeated headbutts and head crank spots. Ishikawa targeted the midsection of Miyahara with some stiff strikes and stomps which Miyahara sold and bumped well for. But in the long run he completely dropped the selling so very disappointing from him. Miyahara is always a good seller overall but if someone works a specific limb or body part his selling is almost always subpar. The finishing stretch got worse with every nearfall. The match went from decent to bad at an alarming rate. Ishikawa would hit one big power move after another and Miyahara would kickout to the point of false finish overkill. What's even worse is that Miyahara would just get right back and spam his usual array of knees and German Suplexes without any flow or creativity in his offense. I'm a fan of both these guys and I've liked all their matches up until this point, but this had all the flaws of the All Japan/Miyahara formula in the most annoying way possible. **1/2"

[7.0] "After Miyahara's vastly overrated and formulaic showing in the Champion Carnival, and now after this match, I can safely say I am in the 'Miyahara is overrated' camp. He's still great, but every big singles match he has leads to my opinion of him slipping. This was a very good match, but mostly because of Ishikawa's awesome power displays. His strikes and power moves all blasted the hell out of Miyahara, and he stormed around the ring at a violent pace as well. Miyahara admittedly bumped and sold well for mostly all of Ishikawa's attacks, but outside of that I thought he was mediocre. His flurry attacks were technically good, since it's always impressive how he can hit so many moves at various places around the ring in such a short period of time, but I was aggravated by how his comeback moments (as is MIyahara's standard) consisted mostly of just knee strikes. It was stale two years ago and it's stale as hell now, and no amount of high-quality technique will get me passed how boring that structure is. It was also disappointing that Miyahara totally forgot to sell the work Ishikawa did on his midsection, though I'm not exactly surprised at no-selling from Miyahara these days. Luckily Ishikawa ensured I was always entertained, as his selling for Miyahara's attacks was quite convincing, and of course his offence always roared back into focus whenever he would gain control, especially with his ridiculously powerful strikes (which, again, Miyahara admittedly bumped quite well for). It was definitely annoying to see Ishikawa get so much control in the match and then get an absurd number of near falls all because of Miyahara's ridiculous superman plot armour, but those near falls were at least still exciting for the fact that for a split second it would seem like Ishikawa was about to become champion. Great work overall from Ishikawa, but a disappointing performance from the All Japan ace. ***3/4"

[7.0] "Someone please warns them that the CC is over. This resembled much more a tournament match than an prestigious title defence, due to too many shenaningans in the first half and especially too many dead spots when Kento was selling the mid section injury (but then forgetting about it). Then the final stretch was really good, even if the feeling remaining has been that Kento just managed to survive Ishikawa. I preffered the CC match overall. ***1/4"

They haven't had a good match since their first one and while I applaud this for being a *little bit* more exploratory than matches 2-5 they still spent a long time in autopilot, going through the motions and the match itself went too long for such a lack of material."

[10.0] "For me that was one of the best matches of 2019. Way better, then their CC match. Yes, structure of this match is simply Ishikawa killing Kento, but it was done so brilliant, with some amazing selling from champ and just awesome wrestling from both of them with tons and tons of great strikes and knees. Also, most of the fight Ishikawa was damaging Miyahara`s body and Kento was working (mostly) at Shuji`s head, so it was pretty smart in my opinion. Anyway, awesome match from two awesome wrestlers. For me it`s nearly a 5 star, but something feels mess, so I`ll give a [****3/4]. If NJPW or other popular promotion showed match like this, it might be a banger in wrestling community"

Miyahara was great, and its so amazing that he's so good and he does absolutely nothing even remotely dangerous. For me it;s around ****. Great, not even close to must see unless you just want to marvel at how Miyahara can get so much out of so little."

[9.0] "This match was all Shuji as he put on such a great physical performance in stomping and striking the hell out of Kento. Kento was as great as he always was, but for this match specifically allowed himself to get rag dolled and focused more on selling for the bigger man. Not a lot of structure in this match led to a somewhat overkill finish, but I can't say I still didn't enjoy this match very much, ****1/2."
