Hier wurde Walters Heel Turn erst so richtig vollzogen und er hatte dabei mit dem Größenunterschied zu Fenix den perfekten Gegner. Dass Walter Fenix seine Maske zerstörte und ein Fan ihm dann seine Maske rüber warf ist ein Moment, den man nicht booken kann. Ein Match, mit einem deutlichen Fokus auf das Storytelling anstatt auf krasse High Spots, aber genau so ist es mir persönlich auch lieber. |

Well, maybe you can, but it is really hard. This match had a truly organic feeling of chaos and stakes that didn't feel planned. I have no idea if they planned for Walter to power bomb Fenix's mask off multiple times and for eventually a fan to throw his replica mask to Fenix so he could finish the match. Because I have no idea, it doesn't matter! It felt real. |

It seemed like Fenix made no botches or mis steps in this match because Walter had such great ring awareness to position himself or just throw a counter. Seeing Walter not take any of the lucha offense was great and added to the realism, rather than wait for Fenix to flip off the ropes he would just kick them under him. Walter ripping the mask and using that to his advantage was such a scummy move and literally got him booed out of the building. A great short little match, I would love to watch these two go at it again in a longer match. |

Then you also have Fenix's incredible athleticism on full display and the story of the luchador's mask, and you immediately get yourself an extra recipe for success. Die Top Rope Powerbomb war der Wahnsinn die war so hart das Fenix seine Maske verloren hat. Clever auch durch Tas das es eine zweite gab aber auch die riss WALTER weg. |

Fenix was great here, since he used his perfect acrobatics to look great on offence while also bumping and selling big time to put over Walter's own offence. Walter's variety of big strikes and massive holds looked great, and I really liked the added touch of how he went after Fenix's mask, leading to a few great accidental spots where the mask came off while Fenix was performing his stunts. The finish also played off this brilliantly, since Walter had his great-looking choke locked in and decided to rip off Fenix's mask once again, possibly because in kayfabe he could then wrench the choke in tighter, plus also because Walter was a d*ck and likely wanted to add insult to injury for his victory. Walter continued to hold himself as a good dominant monster, and it was spots like these that helped get that across. This match could have been better at certain parts, but I mostly really enjoyed the dynamic of Fenix's flashiness and speed against Walter's raw power. ***1/2 |

Das Walter die Maske von Fenix zerriss machte das ganze nur noch besser. Es gab gute Sequenzen, glaubwürdige near falls und echt coole Spots. Bin hin und weg von dem Match **** 1/2. |

Die Spots von Fenix waren auch einfach großartig, dazu die Crowd war einfach fabelhaft. Fenix Maske ist komplett zerrissen und ein Fan reagiert und wirft seine Maske rein. Die Heel Face Verteilung konnte einfach nicht besser sein. |
