[6.0] "The half of Starrcade '85 held in this arena was surely the better one. Nothing really great in the first few matches but I found the final two matches to be highly enjoyable. Two great Steel Cage Matches in a row that kept me interested in that show and also the two best matches of the night for me. All the other matches on this half of the card were okay. Not terrible but also not amazing. All in all, I believe a 6/10 for this half of the show is a fair rating."

[] "[7.0] Really enjoyed this episode. I liked that there were less segments here to make it more flexible for the matches and the ending. There is a lot of improvement to still be made and I honestly think that Raw is going better for now. LA Knight & AJs segment was my favorite of this show and the best match was arguably Rey vs Santos. It looks like we are getting Rey vs Dom II at WMXL but that is fine with me. The Final Testament vs The Pride feud is not hitting for me whatsoever and I have been mostly bored of it. Overall this was a very decent episode of Smackdown"

[3.0] "Nothing really interesting here, basic episode.. Pretty skippable show.. Only things interesting are Sid's "botched" Chokeslam and of course Backlund / JR interview that was shocking with Backlund attacking JR with his chicken wing submission, until Vega made the save, and MAYBE the appearance of Matt Hardy as a jobber.."

[6.0] "Definitely an above average match but there aren't any real false-finishes and Jey Uso's involvement from the very beginning didn't make anyone look stronger. When either of the 3 were locked in a submission, there was never a real belief that Roman would lose the championship. Maybe when Edge was able to lock in a crossface using the chair leg there was a sliver of a chance Roman could tap, but it wasn't convincing enough to put this match above Cody vs. Roman from WrestleMania 39. Edge looked pretty dumb for not trying to pin D.B. after smashing his head with a chair. The continuous headbutts when they D.B. and Edge locked in their finisher looked really silly. It wasn't that brutal of a match either besides the D.B. powerbomb table spot. The image of Roman stacking both men was cool because it hadn't really been done before and to see it in the main event of WrestleMania made the moment bigger, as it was foreshadowing the dominance that was on the way."

[8.0] "Good first start with Jey's promo against his brother After that a very good tag team match like we enjoy to see the Creed brothers and DIY gave a very good and untertaining match, the ending is very great. Just after we had a great promo of Cody targetting TheRock showing us that Cody is also very good at the mic, because TheRock is maybe one of the best if not the best at the mic. Rhodes did a great promo and a very funny one. The wrestling match tag team that Awesome Truth won against Indus Sher was quick but a very funny finish Then New Day VS Alpha Academy predictable but still good spots Woman main event also had great spots reminded me of some hardcore spots"

[] "Really Good Show! The only match i wouldn't recommend is House Of Torture vs Umino & Kiyomiya, Catch 2/2 vs. War Dogs is honestly my favourite Jr Tag matchup since i started watching New Japan in 2022, GoD vs Bishamon was better than i thought it'd be, Finlay vs Ospreay vs Moxley was better than some make it out to be (because of Finlay), Okada vs Danielson was amazing and a good main event to end the show Overall 9/10 on the show"

[7.0] "Good show overall. I liked the main event a great deal, Folks will credit Angle but I still think JBL doesn't miss in this era, great promos, great expressions, great punches, great bumps, great brawling, he carries the show more often than not and he was the shining star here. Other two matches were fine for what they were, Tough Enough is over thank god, Heidenreich is reading poems and making Michael Cole scurry away."

[8.0] "Another very fun episode of NWA World Championship Wrestling. The Midnight Express get the prize for best systematic dissection of jobbers, with Cornette in great form as he raved and ranted about the Fantastics. Arn takes second prize and the focus of the show with all the heels speaking against Dusty Rhodes going wild with a baseball bat the week before was superb."

[6.0] "Stardom Cinderella tournament final was a good show half of the card had high stakes matches other half didn't which lowered the score for me. As for the matches Mayu Iwatani vs Yuzuki - Ami Sourei vs AZM were good, Giulia vs. Tam Nakano was great as was Hanan vs Ami Sourei and the best match on the card was the main event between Maika (c) vs Utami Hayashishita was a banger of a match."

[7.0] "The wrestling, while solid, was limited by distraction finishes. Commentary did great work all night - at one point, Wade Barrett had Corey Graves cracking up. Hopefully this team continues to get time to gel and develop chemistry. Some interesting seeds were planted for a potential heel turn for Bianca Belair - maybe a feud with Bayley after 'Mania? It will be nice to finally see Jade Cargill in a WWE ring for the first time in months. Kevin Owens and Pretty Deadly are comedy gold. LA Knight is a good fit for the old-school home invasion spot, but there wasn't nearly enough carnage and the decision to cut to the police footage wasn't well timed. Cody and Roman's promo fell a bit flat - they hit all the right notes, but there was a lack of energy present. I've got some quibbles about how The Rock has inserted himself into this WrestleMania narrative, but, to be truthful, he always brings a charge into whatever angle he walks into. His absence was noticeable. Roman Reigns was great on the mic per usual; Cody largely lacked the fire of his promo on RAW earlier this week."

[5.0] "XPW's first "reunion" show was not without its merits. The Hawx-Evans-Sky three-way was the best pure match on the show, while the Supreme-Butcher main event death match will have lots to like for fans of that genre, and if not good in any traditional sense, the GQ Money-H.H. Angel match involved some pretty entertaining stuff. The opening battle royal was very sloppy, but the way in which its memorial aspect was handled, with winner Carnage notably giving the cup to Dynamite D's mother, was genuinely very classy in a way I wouldn't have expected from XPW. While the Gangstas-Westside NGZ match really wasn't a match at all (it was really just the two teams beating up the impostor "Gangstas" that came out before the real ones), it did conclude with a long but entertaining "retirement" speech from New Jack. The XPW vs RevPro six-man didn't have too much going for it - even the Joey Ryan vs Vinny Massaro angle that began earlier in the night with an interminable beauty contest segment didn't play into it a whole lot - it did notably have X-Pac, fresh out of a rehab stint, having an impressive showing that stood head and shoulders over everyone else in the match (and most on the rest of the show). On the other hand, Kaos vs Vampiro went way too long with little notable action; Kaos tried (and received a nasty cut on his back for his efforts) but Vampiro really didn't; Sandman vs Pogo certainly happened, and the Terry Funk-refereed tag match was kind of a mess but had some mildly amusing moments from Raven providing his own commentary. The show overall was uneven, but not uninteresting, and far from the worst XPW has produced."

[6.0] "This is probably one of the weakest shows of the company so far, but it had some decent things in it. It started with a cool scramble match which Special K won. It had some cool spots and decent action (specially from Hydro), better than the usual for me. At the end of it, Jim Cornette made his debut and joined The Prophecy as their manager. Next was Nigel McGuinness debut on ROH, on a short match against Chet Jablonski in which he showed some of his british style, it was nice. Sabin vs Homicide was a decent match with some cool moves, but I would have liked a couple minutes more. The Second City Saints defeated Jimmy Jacobs and Alex Shelley on a good tag team match, both teams looked good. Matt Stryker defeated Justin Credible on a cool sports entertainment match, something different form the usual Stryker pure wrestling match, it was cool to see Stryker win on his hometown. All of this matches were fine, not great, but enjoyable on some level. After the intermission time, where The Prophecy attacked Red and injured him, we see one of the worst four corner survival matches so far, bad action, too long and sloppy at times. Then Jimmy Rave defeated Slim J, the match was kind of a mess, but at least was short. For me those two matches dragged the show down a bit, but the two last matches saved it. First, Samoa Joe defending his title against BJ Whitmer. Samoa Joe is getting stronger as a champion, with some brutal moves and spots, Whitmer had some decent nearfalls. And then AJ and Homicide defending the tag titles against Christopher Daniels and Dan Maff, a great match with some cool spots and good heel work by The Prophecy and Cornette. After the match, having lost, Daniels and Maff turn on Cornette and he is saved by Red and Samoa Joe. Other good bits of the show were the Colt Cabana and Ace Steel skits, that were funny. Joe's promo at the end of the show was great, his reign is getting more important and dominant, he is stablishing himself as a wrestling beast. And for the show, most of the stuff here was mediocre, nothing was really great or special, but it had some cool moments, such as Cornette and McGuinness debut on ROH or the announce of Corino's return and match with Homicide on the following show."

[] "I enjoyed the look and feel of the show and how they were explaining things and setting things up early on. The wrestling was better than show #1 although that show had set up the main event here. Cornette was good on commentary compared to Mantell the previous week. I like the prospective manager guy in the wheelchair who seems to have ulterior motives, can't remember his name."

[7.0] "A slightly better episode of SD this week with more wrestling i especially enjoyed the Santos vs Rey match and liked the insertion of Dominik in this story and feel it works well and is a story which can be picked up anytime hopefully we see Andrade in this match at WM in a 4v4 or 3v3. The theory/Waller vs OC match was average. The Bianca and Naomi storyline insertion into the Damage CTRL storyline is working very well with both their feelings towards bayley being presented really smartly and making logical sense The match between IYO and Naomi was good albeit with a very predictable ending.I also really like the Bronn video package. The street profits vs AOP match was good and I am pretty certain AOP will cost them the qualifier next week. The final segment once again was the main draw of this show although not as good as the previous weeks it furthered the story and provided for good entertainment and a high point end to the night."

[6.0] "This show was hit or miss, to be honest. Which is strange because people regard Smackdown as the A-show and Raw as the boring three hour slog, when it's been the opposite so far. You had some good matches like Santos/Rey and Iyo/Naomi, where the storylines there are progressing nicely. I didn't like how they ended both tag team matches with roll-ups, as they lack a decisiveness (which might be by design to protect the team that loses). The closing segment was...there. Roman and Cody are two great talkers, but something just felt off about this one. They've said a lot of the things they've said before. I did like the ending where they panned to Jey and Seth int he crowd to show that Cody has backup. I feel like the entire segment was just so they could get good shots for video packages, however."

[9.0] "A great episode of RAW which seems to be the working show of WWE right now while SD seems to be the storyline show.. The first match was the best on the show with great tag team wrestling slowly building fan interest as the match went on the creeds are definitely future champions but I am not too fussed at them not being at wrestlemania as they have all the time to reach the top really happy for DIY to be at wrestlemania hopefully they are able to capture one of the two tag titles. LeRaes heel turn continues to move further and I am liking it till now but need them to follow through on it. Ricochet and Dominik had a good match I like ricochet being on tv again dont know if he will be on wrestlemania or not but hopefully they continue to build him back after his absence. Awesome truth were the expected winners of the next match same with the new day. The Main event was really good and Nias good run continues.the finish was brilliant and tied off a neat knot of Beckys previous feuds and gives her momentum and puts all her attention on Rhea. The Jew Jimmy segment was great as well as the Cody and Heyman segment all of this has me really excited for Wrestlemania.Chad and Sami was wonderful and arguably the best thing on the show"

[8.0] "Alejandro, HAYATA & Ninja Mack vs Alpha Wolf, Dragon Bane & Super Crazy: A fun opening contest, some good solid in ring work, some decent jr heavyweight moves [***]. Daiki Inaba vs Shuhei Taniguchi: An okay match, the pacing was a bit slow at times [**]. Hajime OHara vs LJ Cleary: A surprising outcome with Cleary winning, the match in itself was okay, but could have been better if had more time [**1/2]. El Hijo del Dr Wagner Jr & Shuji Kondo vs Jake Lee & Tadasuke: This was a preview for the upcoming El Hijo del Dr Wagner Jr vs Jake Lee match on March 31st, the in ring action between the two when they were in the ring at the same time was interesting, Wagner Jr picking up the win by pinning Tadasuke was good to see [***3/4]. Masa Kitamiya vs Manabu Soya vs Ryohei Oiwa: Surprised by how much I enjoyed this match, Oiwa really is coming on leaps and bounds as he impressed in this match, Manabu Soya and Masa Kitamiya tried to out power each other, Kitamiya winning was the right decision [***1/2]. Kenoh vs Ulka Sasaki: Sasaki being a rookie in pro wrestling did well against the more experienced Kenoh even if Sasaki did not win, which was not surprising, the count out outcome should have been different [***]. Junta Miyawaki, Naomichi Marufuji, Takashi Sugiura, Yoshinari Ogawa & Yu Owada vs Akitoshi Saito vs Atsushi Kotoge, Go Shiozaki, Hi69 & Mohammed Yone: An elimination ten Man tag match that had its good moments and also its not so good moments, the action was solid at times but also slow at times [***]. Daga vs YO-HEY: Decent junior heavyweight match, Daga retaining was good to see, YO-HEY did not go down without a fight though [***1/4]. Anthony Greene & Jack Morris vs Saxon Huxley & Timothy Thatcher: This match was good, both teams gave a good performance, the challengers proved that they could nearly beat the champions, the action was solid throughout [****1/4]"

[3.0] "After a nice change of enviroment at Rebellion we're back to typical Attitude Era garbage. There are two fine bouts here: Outlaws vs The Hollys is a decent little Tag Team Match with a great hot tag from Billy and Chyna vs Jarrett would have been trash if Jeff wasn't involved, but he made it work and the crowd loved it too. Everything else just sucks or is mid at best. Godfather vs Mideon is not a great way to open the show, Moolah vs Ivory is horrendous and Rock vs Bulldog is just forgettable. Then the Tag Team Ladder Match buries the whole stipulation making it a garbage spotfest, Venis vs Foley is a horrible comedy match and the Fatal 4 Way is alright, but I would have preferred the simple Tag Team Match instead. And the main event isn't anything new - typical Attitude Era brawl with all of its worst parts that make me just zone out. They really had no mercy on me with this show."

[] "A mixed show I felt. The main event was solid and the culmination of a great trio of matches between Edge & Christian over the TNT belt. I like the fact it had a big match feel and I loved the hockey fight bit, that was class. I thought the rest of the show was fine, but not spectacular. I like the fact Okada won, but the match never really got going. Mercedes Moné is being eased in which is fine but her promos have been a bit on the generic side so far. Ultimately, she is going to need a credible opponent who can be involved in a convincing story with Moné and the only woman I can think of who is capable of it is Toni Storm. I like where the Ospreay Danielson build is going with the "anything you can do" angle and with about a month to go to the PPV, I can see that rivalry ramping up quite nicely before they clash. I don't understand why Don Callis is insisting that Swerve faces Takeshita before he can qualify to face Joe when Takeshita lost his last outing - surely if he was going to push a member of his "family" for a title shot it should be Ospreay, who beat Takeshita earlier this month? Anyway, I am sure that match will be very good even if the logic doesn't support why it is happening."

[9.0] "Really good show my favourite of 2020 for aew 3 really good matches in the opener the tag team match and the main event and 2 matches i thought weren't great int he hardy match and the jericho MJF match but overall a 9/10"

[5.0] "Quite a bit weaker smackdown this week compared to recent episodes. In-ring we get two interference wins and two roll-ups which is not great, and the Cody/Roman segment was also very underwhelming to me. A lot of focus is still on ongoing storylines leading to WM, but overall the episode fell quite a bit flat."
32623.03.2024

[6.0] "What a mid Smackdown no matches apart from maybe Rey VS Santos that makes you go wow but even that was spoiled due to Dominik Mysterio interference. The best part of this show was the Roman and Cody segment"

[5.0] "Better than the recent Smackdowns but still plenty of place for improvement. Rey vs Santos was not that bad, but without Rey Santos just doesn't work for me. Aside from that I liked the Naomi vs Io match. Io is a decent heel and her and Naomis athletic style are a good fit, if just Askua could stop that cringy dancing... Did not care about the OC vs these other guys at all. Back with all of them to NXT. The AoP aren't my favorites either and no matter how much you ellering them they will never LoD class, but with having them wear yellow clothing and tagging them as 'The Bulldozers' or calling them 'The Removal Guys' dressed up all Ikea style it perhaps could work. The LA Knight AJ sequence was fine, more of this! Hopefully they will add Stone Cold somehow to their WM match. 'We r KO' is a selfrunner in the making and something I am looking forward to. Finally a slow and pretty skipable talk between Boreman and Cody. None of them are good talkers, at least it ended with some momentum when they just started shutting up and the other guys appeared. Is Paul Heyman gay? The way he looks at Roman I bet he is."

[6.0] "Every match except the main event was boring or downright disappointing considering the talent in the ring for it, and some of the segments and promos sucked ass. Still a decent show but it's definitely one of the weaker Dynamites of the year so far."

11:09
[7.0] "Decent show, love the LA and AJ angle, love the development of Wrestlemania stories, their clearing setting things up with Jade and Bron, and matches were decent. Only thing i dislike is the main event angle, and lack of match time. Story was the focus, and wrestling took a backseat."

[6.0] "I think the potential of Copeland vs Cage being a fun main event kept me more invested than I otherwise would have been. When I look at the full picture, what we got in those two hours, and what those hours left me looking forward to, there's not a whole lot to talk about. Jericho is getting a lot of flak here, and it's true that he didn't take every one of those bumps well, but he still bent over backwards to keep Hook's smoke and mirror show up and running. People say "Of course Jericho had to get rolled up and didn't tap out", as if Hook is deserving of having that kind of win in the first place. Jericho has a well-earned reputation of being that way. I'm not saying we didn't get the Jericho special there, but the kind of wins Hook is granted and the image that creates for him far exceed his current talent level. He's neither a good enough wrestler to excuse his lack of talking ability or a good enough talker to excuse his lack of in-ring ability. That's fine for a guy so young in his career, but he's presented as more than that. Outside of that, the opener and the main event both disappointed me, and The Butcher getting in better shape and cutting his hair have ironically reduced his appeal (as well as being treated like a plain old jobber). Hogan was one of the coolest guys of the 90s in his 40s, looking about 20 years older and sporting a skullet. Some guys can make it work."

[7.0] "Good show, as we're going closer to WrestleMania. Not a fan of the final segment until the others shows up. Surprised Dominik involved in Rey's match, good one though, and the rests are just fine."

[5.0] "Middle of the road for me. The Rock n' Sock stuff is entertaining but once again this show is let down by an underwhelming mid card."
33523.03.2024
10:23
[8.0] "Another alright episode anchored by one thing that overshadowed the rest of the card. Roman and Cody have wonderful chemistry and their segment was head and shoulders the best thing tonight. As for the rest, the tag team matches are fine to forgettable but hopefully the two finals next week are more tone setters than these ones were. Bianca Belair teasing heelish stuff at least as it pertains to Bayley is a nice wrinkle but I'm also pretty convinced she'll help Bayley when it's all said and done. But on that note, still no Mania match for Belair which is odd considering how prominently she featured at the last few. All in all still Good this week, but it's becoming more and more apparent that Roman and Rocky cast a shadow that the Smackdown regular roster really struggles to get of."
33623.03.2024
10:23
[7.0] "This was kind of an odd show, definitely Good but with a few hiccups along the way. Rock showing off his new Final Boss form and going evil but the charismatic evil that people will cheer for until they actually see him kill the dog kind of way was nice. The wrestling again fell a little flat this week, nothing really hit third gear and the specific timing of some commercial breaks hurt the flow of different matches. It was capped off by a pretty pedestrian main event segment, Kai playing mastermind is fine I guess but the match is Bayley vs. Iyo and we need to reinforce that particular pairing more. Tag teams are the order of the day for a couple of weeks, which is fine, and we got the predictable but hardly bad triple threat with Logan Paul, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens made official. Ultimately this was an episode that cooled off over time rather than ramped up, but it was still Good overall and Smackdown is moving in the right direction in terms of building towards Mania."
33723.03.2024

[6.0] "While certainly good for a laugh, I think the opening video package for this show might be one of the worst in PPV history. That aside, this show is largely pretty good, but dragged down by one lengthy match that negatively impacted the entire event for me. The highlights of the card are the main event (despite a poor finish) and the Midnight Express vs. Rock 'n' Roll Express, which are both very strong matches and easy recommendations to anybody who is a fan of this era of wrestling. The rest of the card is fairly solid, but doesn't quite reach the same heights as these two matches. What really hurts this event more than anything else is the 24 minute US tag title match, which is an absolute slog and significantly hurts the pace of the show. If you're planning on watching this event I'd recommend skipping that match entirely, as without it you're left with an otherwise very enjoyable night of wrestling."
33823.03.2024

[5.0] "This show started shockingly good and fell off a cliff. The three singles undercard matches were great, with an overachieving opener, a nice Di Matteo technical match, and Windsor once again (though, I guess, the first time in four years) proving she's one of the few here to take shit seriously. Then...the Gauntlet was depressing outside of Hyan's performance and the final hardcore stuff with Kasey. The Rumble continued this embarrassing trend, as it was a technical mess and a showcase of so much bad talent from yesteryear - though I do think witnessing the crowd's enjoyment was fun. Main event return was fine but went over too quickly. Ultimately this had all the hallmarks of a booker/promoter in over his head, thinking "We'll have a 50 minute gauntlet! And then a 60 minute Rumble! " without considering he doesn't have the talent or production value to do that effectively."

[8.0] "In the end, the second Limit Break show organized by the NOAH team is a great success. It allows us to highlight wrestlers like Saito, Yone or Kotoge but also wrestlers from other promotions like Ishikawa, Akiyama, Endo etc. I'm happy that they have announced other show dates."

[10.0] "I might well give this show a 10, there's three classics on here that I think people should check out; Mashimo vs. Nohashi, Brahmans vs. Moriyama & Nagai, and the main event. The opener as well as the Fujita/Kimura match are pretty good and to be honest you might like those more than I did. It's just those three matches I listed are absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend the second available Fu-Ten show (as of now), What a nice 4th Anniversary."

[9.0] "To think I could have been at this show live but I missed this due to my mother getting covid and me taking care of her. I'm not choosing wrestling over my mom. The Scramble was fun, loved the spot where Jet Jaghori stomps on everyone when they're in a submission circle. GummiBoar is my new favorite tag team and Rex Lawless is just a beast. Puf vs Atomic Superfrog was a fun comedy match but I like Atomic better. We get a CHIKARA reunion with the biggest players. The tag match was skippable but not bad in anyway. Woman's 3 way was fun and Willow Nightingale was way over, was she in AEW at this point or no? The main event was one of the best 8 person rag matches I have ever seen. It had comedy but it was also hard hitting."

03:55
[6.0] "A solid episode overall. Only two disappointing matches on the show for me, the first being the AJ Francis match of course. I was also pretty disappointed in the women only having a 2 minute match here and it felt even stranger seeing as how it was the knockouts tag champions who had a similarly short match at Sacrifice. The other matches ranged from solid to good. [MOTN: Nic Nemith & Speedball Mountain vs. Steve Maclin & The Rascalz]"

[6.0] "This was a solid if not spectacular Rampage. The matches were all solid, but none of them stood out as memorable to me and the main event was hurt by taking place after a more violent hardcore style match between bigger stars on the Dynamite that aired right before. It was surreal seeing Shibata in a TV squash match though and I surprisingly didn't mind it being directly after Dynamite. However, I definitely don't want to see AEW do 3 hours of consecutive tv time regularly. [MOTN: Konosuke Takeshita vs. Rocky Romero]"

[7.0] "Kinda hard to rate this show as a whole. The undercard was pretty dire, but the main event absolutely brought the house down. Absolutely a one match show, but I'm willing to rate it a little higher because of just how good the main event was. [MOTN: Hirooki Goto vs. Yota Tsuji]"

[8.0] "The show kicked off with Vader facing Goldust, an ok opener with a cool finish nothing else really stood out. After that the mini tag match was ok i guess nothing fancy there either. The Rock vs Ken Shamrock was a good match i really enjoyed that. The tag team match wasnt really good and the ending was kinda lame. The Royal Rumble match was good but there werent many big names in it but it had a some nice moments. The main event is definitely the best match of the night, it wasnt as good as their previous one in Badd Blood but it was still good, those two can never have a bad match together the chemistry between them is just great. Id recommend only the last two matches and probably The Rock vs Ken the rest is skippable."

[9.0] "The first Hour of Collision was the best hour of wrestling in the last Decade. Danielson vs Shibata was sensational and a Match of the year Candidate. Julia Hart's continued growth was on full display against a top flight contender in Trish Adora with some added stakes for the main event of the show to boot. Daniel Garcia vs Lee Moriarty is the glimpse at the near future of AEW between two of the top technical wrestlers in the world as they truly begin to settle into who they are as wrestlers in AEW and ROH. Garcia and Moriarty definitely warrant more time in the future and left me needing more. PAC squashing Aaron Solo was the come down from the high of that first hour as it was a set up for PAC to declare his intentions vs The New Elite. Claudio fighting a bigger opponent was something I didn't know I missed until Lance Archer's music hit for their match but a surprising DQ finish left it open for this match up to happen again to decide who would win. Kyle O'Reilly show that he does indeed still have it and he couldn't have had a better dance partner than Bryan Keith for that. The Infantry pulling the upset on House of Black was a welcome surprise, the finish couldn't been a little more decisive in their favor rather than a "pull him into the winning pin" finish. Overall an outstanding serving of Saturday wrestling that showed that it is indeed the night for fighting by getting plenty of action in."

[7.0] "So RCW have done a New Japan by unifying 2 title with much history to form a new title with zero history in the Grand title. Not something I like but... oh well, and at least this title has a slightly better name than the last one, and the presentation and new title were both nice. As for the matches - [1st match] Surprisingly fun opening match. It exceeded my expectations tenfold. **** [2nd match] Another surprisingly good match. Cadie Tre showing a real mean streak by Tre demolishing Banjo Powers & co, and going after announcers. ***3/4 [3rd match] Basically a throwaway match for the sake of an angle, but i was fine with that, as the match was not great. ** [4th match] Yet another strong match, felt almost like showcase match potentially, but it wasn't quite at that sort of level in the end. ***3/4 [5th match] Not a great match considering the matchtype and winning stip. *1/2 [6th match] It was okay but probably should have been better considering it was a title match. **1/4 [Main] Another match mainly set up for an angle, that was again ended in DQ. The match was very solid, but can't help but feel that The Parea deserved better from their return and apparent face turn. **1/2 A decent start to the year from RCW, with quite a few quality matches, but it's a shame about some of these finishes."

[8.0] "This was an excellent episode of Rampage. It was an interesting choice to put most of the good in-ring stuff here instead of Dynamite, but it worked. We opened with a Wild Card Match for the Tag Team Tournament between CHAOS and the Don Callis Family that was very good. Katsuyori Shibata then squashed Kevin Matthews to show that it wasn't a fluke that he looked so good against Danielson last week. We then got the Match of the Night as Konosuke Takeshita and Rocky Romero faced of in a very high energy bout. Finally, the streak of excellent women's tag team street fights continued as Kris Statlander and Willow Nightingale took on Julia Hart and Skye Blue."

[4.0] "The first WWE show post-WWF, the Raw after Insurrextion '02 (the Raw after the Plane Ride from Hell)... this was not great at all. The only good things I found in this were the hilarious interaction between Booker T and Goldust at 7-11 and Hardy/RVD vs. Booker/Guerrero (albeit fairly short). Everything else was just either mid or just plain bad, especially the main event. Not to mention Scott Hall literally got fired after the show because of his personal demons. This really ain't it."

I don't know where they're going to take us with Shelley, Sabin and KUSHIDA but I'm interested, hoping they extend MCMG. Ash is a turd, but maybe there's something fun to be done with her. Main event OK, Grace flies over her opponent. FMM between Young and Kazarian, I'm really excited."

[8.0] "This was a weaker show by modern standards, but AEW's momentum is so high right now that it coasted on that. we opened with a solid match between Kazuchika Okada and Eddie Kingston for the Continental Title. Hook and Jericho then stunk the place out for 10 minutes. Jericho just isn't the person to get the most out of Hook's one move. Deonna Purrazzo and Thunder Rosa then took on Toni Storm and Mariah May in a match that totally happened. Swerve Strickland squashed the Butcher to further his rehabilitation from the character assassination they inflicted on him a few weeks back. Finally, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage had a match of the night outing in their I Quit Match for the TNT Title."

[6.0] "This is really only a one match show. The NJ cup final was fun to watch, even though the result was predictable. Hirooki Goto was never going to win and have another failed title challenge. Tsuji feels like a big time wrestler and has the fans on his side. The rest of the card was to setup the next big shows Sakura Genesis and Windy City Riot. It was a strange NJ cup, who knows if David Finlay was actual supposed to make the finals."

[8.0] "I've known about Kaiju Big Battel for some time, but this is my first time watching a full show. Definitely the shows are based more on fun and entertainment rather than pure wrestling, making things a little difficult to rate. My favourite match was Call-Me-Kevin Vs Neo Teppen, I enjoyed the stunt work and Robox getting stuck entering the cage, and once in he went haywire and took out everyone. The next best match was the Tag team match - which immediately followed a tribute to Silver Potato, with a song performed by J-Pop idol Chikako - who managed to not get distracted by the fights breaking out around her. The opening match was pretty slow and lumbering. One thing I've definitely noticed already is that the matches featuring less-bulky suits are instantly better, although it's still interesting to see the creativity with all the different Kaiju, bulky or not. There was also 2 squash matches, and I think as actual wrestling goes, the main event had the most of it. I had fun watching this, but it's definitely not going to be to everyone's tastes."

[8.0] "Really good show, great matches all around not any of them were lackluster or bad except maybe Johnny vs Ludwig which wasn't bad , but had a bad finish. My least favorite match was again Johnny vs Ludwig , it had good actions , gargano was more over with the crowd than usual , and Ludwig was playing well as the heel. The finish was a big setback after the really good match that took place , with a better finish this could of been way better than it is. Favorite match is Becky vs Xia , which shocked me given that Nakamura vs Gable was another really good match on this show. Xia really impressed me , she had some good looking strikes and Becky was fantastic as per usual , another great match for Becky. Becky gave Xia easily the best match in her whole career , I can't think of a better match from her than this. My favorite promo was Cody hyping up randy , I like that he didn't directly say his name , but instead provide obvious hints , I also liked how Randy didn't show up till survivor series making sure it's a good reaction and surprise from the crowd. Match ratings Nia vs Raquel 7/10 , Becky vs Xia 8/10 , Johnny vs Ludwig 6/10 , Women's fatal four way tag 7/10 , Nakamura vs Gable 8/10 , Drew vs Jey 7/10."

[3.0] "This is by far the worst SummerSlam I've ever seen, nothing about this disgraceful show works (except for three matches). Styles/Omos vs. RK-Bro: not even a title change can save this match (**1/2), Bliss vs. Eva: one of the worst shit I've ever seen in my life, how can this be on the second biggest PPV of the year? (DUD) Sheamus vs. Priest: one of the few good things about this show (***1/2), The Usos vs. Mysterios (**1/2), Bianca vs. Becky: a cool return, spoiled by the burial (at the time) of the best thing in the women's division at the time (DUD), McIntyre vs. Jinder: fuck this match and fuck Mahal (*), ASH vs. Flair vs. Ripley: the champion that no one cares about and two workers who are capable of much more together (***), Edge vs. Rollins: the best match of the show and the only great match of the night (****1/4), Bobby vs. Oldberg: rubbish, super rubbish, horrible match, even worse ending (1/2*), Roman vs. Cena: match well anything, especially because I was already wanting to die at the end of this PPV, it's not bad, but it's not eye-catching (***3/4), to give it a slight boost we have the return of Brock Lesnar (now cowboy) and a priceless reaction from Paul Heyman. Final thoughts: watch Edge vs. Rollins and Brock's return, otherwise don't waste your time"

[6.0] "The show opened with an excellent 'Rock Concert' that was highly entertaining. Rock then showed a clip of Rhodes crying like a baby which prompted Rock to exclaim "you've got to be shitting me", which was pretty much my reaction to seeing that mess as well. Rock then got serious and cut a very good, intense promo; great opening segment. The opening match between LDF and LWO was a qualifier for yet another multi-man ladder match, a stipulation that has been stale and in desperate need of time on the shelf for years; the match itself was okay, but the wrong team won. At the entrance way, the lovely Kayla Braxton called out her guest, the irritant LA Knight, who got even more heat with me when he sent Kayla to the back, then nearly sent me to sleep with his cheap Rock knock off promo, thankfully AJ shut him up by attacking him from behind; I'm not looking forward to AJ trying to drag that boring goon to a decent match at Mania. In the GM's office, Logan Paul demanded Aldis make Orton apologize for his attack last week, but spineless, workshy Aldis said Logan should do it himself himself. In the back, Kayla wanted to know Jey Uso's response to his brother's challenge; Jey's response was to rant like a lunatic as his eyeballs struggled to not pop completely out of their sockets. Orton vs Waller was a match that happened; post match, Theory and Logan attacked Orton but KO made the save, the highlight of which was Theory diving 5ft in the air from a stunner so that Orton could RKO him 'out of nowhere'; Aldis then finally did some work and made a triple threat US title match for mania between Logan, KO & Orton. Backstage, Kayla interviewed Damage Ctrl, or more accurately, Kai as Io, Kairi & Asuka stood mute in the background; Kai cut a bad promo then grimaced into the camera. Santos beat Lee in two minutes but Lee still didn't look as big of a geek as he did when he was walking around in another wrestlers merch last week; post match, Mysterio came out to challenge Santos to a match on next week's Smackdown. Bayley vs Kai was fine for what it was, which was a set-up for the post match angle; Damage Ctrl continued to assault Bayley after the match until Naomi, who did a very weird run, came to her aid, only to get laid out herself as Damage Ctrl stood tall to end the show. The Rock's two pronged opening segment was the obvious highlight of the show, but I also enjoyed the stuff with Logan Paul. It was good to see the women's title feud get more focus this week, although I didn't like how Kai was pushed to the forefront, leading the way front and centre as they walk backstage, centre of the group and the only one to talk in a backstage segment, you'd be forgiven for thinking she was leader of DC, women's champ and heading to Mania to face Bayley, which would suck. The matches were all skippable and were mostly excuses for post match angles. LA Knight and the clip of Rhodes crying were the low points of the show. Also, where is Bron Breakker? He hasn't been seen or mentioned for two weeks. Overall, a decent show."

[9.0] "This was a very entertaining Raw with Austin pulling double duty to get the match he wants with Bret Hart on PPV. Austin is great on this show in general where he wrestles his first matches as a face, but pretty much sticks with the heelish style that got him loved by the fans in the first place! He has them eating out of the palm of his hands all night and his main with Mankind is a lot of fun. Theres a lot of great promo work on this show with both Shawn Michaels and Mick Foley really standing out. Shawn pulls no punches whatsoever with his promo on Bret Hart and the personal animosity is really making for great TV regardless of which one you are a fan of. Foley's promo is also brilliant after his evil actions burning The Undertaker last week where he does a fantastic job of making Mankind a very sympathetic and complex character when he talks about his wife and children! There's a good video package with Bret Hart in South Africa promoting next weeks show! The matches was mostly about story and character progression with Owen and Bulldog winning their match fully united as a team and there was a pretty brutal shoot fight where Vernon White gets busted open very quickly against Shamrock. The only problem with the show really was there was too many squash matches and also the split screen interviews during matches still being a thing. They also debuted another anti-American faction in the Truth Commission, which was kinda redundant because the Hart Foundation are so much better at it."

[8.0] "Decent episode of Rampage this week, Orange Cassidy & Trent Beretta vs Kyle Fletcher & Powerhouse Hobbs: Hobbs started by dominating OC, the time with Beretta and Fletcher in the ring together was interesting to watch, Beretta and OC winning was surprising [***1/4]. Katsuyori Shibata vs Kevin Matthews: A squash match that gained Shibata momentum heading into his match with Will Ospreay next week on Dynamite [*]. Konosuke Takeshita vs Rocky Romero: Shame they only got 9 minutes, they did a lot in that time, back and forth action that was solid [***1/2]. Julia Hart & Skye Blue vs Kris Statlander & Willow Nightingale: A decent street fight with some cool moments, a good main event [***3/4]"

[10.0] "Couldn't ask for a more perfect debut show. Fu-Ten is "Art House Bati-Bati" as a certain inmate coined, and you can really see that vision here, it's not really in it's complete form obviously, it's still the first show, but I get exactly what it is. Every match on here is worth seeing, even if I wasn't too huge on the Ono match, I still think it's worth seeing since it's so short. The opener has an early Kota Ibushi go one on one with my guy Katsumi Usuda in a very good shoot style affair, I wish Ibushi did more of these, he's good in this particular style. The tag match is awesome just for the parts we get with the U-Style guys and Fujita, who I'm constantly shocked is really damn good at Bati Bati despite looking like an indy scummer like NOSAWA Rongai. Ito vs. Hara fucking ruled, that match was near perfect shoot style, it had everything I loved. And the main event is goddamn Daisuke Ikeda vs. Yuki Ishikawa. They are the pioneers and kings of this style, they get it better than anyone else. Pure Violence and a wonderful backstory that I mentioned in that re-review there for my rating. I'm excited to watch more Fu-Ten despite the very small amount of shows that's available, I hope one day Ikeda throws em online, cause I guarantee you people want to see those tapes."

[10.0] "The absolute pinnacle, the apex, the magnum opus of AEW's in ring prowess and their storytelling as well. Every match had a story, a meaning, a purpose (outside of the women's match, which was just the usual "we gotta defend this title" match the women usually were relegated to at this time) and besides the Minneapolis Street Fight that took place almost exclusively in the ring, there was nothing worse than average on this PPV, in fact 3 of the matches are entirely worthy of a 10 point rating, three others are 8plus and the rest besides the street fight do not fall below 6. Highlights: MJF/Darby would probably have been match of the night on any PPV card at any other time in AEW history, that's how loaded this show was. The SuperKliq v Cage/Jungle Express match was quite fun, Punk v Kingston was short, sweet, to the point and absolutely deserved to continue on longer as a story and blood feud, but unfortunately like a lot of CM Punks AEW run, it didn't pan out how it should have. (At least this one wasn't from some self inflicted BS) Adam Page defeating Kenny was everything the crowd wanted and more. A bittesweet end to Kenny's reign, and a heartwarming start to an unfairly maligned championship reign for Page, who was absolutely overshadowed by CM Punk while champion and of course we all know what that led to. Lowlights: Minneapolis Street Fight, but it barely left the ring. What? Cody getting booed (Cody Sucks/F You Cody chants) was hilarious and the true end to his AEW run, and the womens match was just kind of there, basically just a cooldown match with no story This is the truest and greatest AEW PPV. AEW/TK needs to strive to get back to this level of heat and focus."

[8.0] "The ratings for this show are more influenced by the in ring return of Punk and the debuts at the end, rather than the totality of the action, which did feature some awesome matches and moments, but this is not AEW's magnum opus. Full Gear 2021 is the absolute Pinnacle of AEWs in ring and storytelling abilities. Very good and fun show, but absolutely overrated at the same time. Highlights: Cage Match, one of AEW's best ever, a wild, chaotic and slightly ridiculous match. Well deserving of a 5 star rating (or 10 points, whichever you prefer) The end of show double debut, and CM Punk's in ring return with the clear Bret Hart references/homages, Lowlight: Women's battle royal, Paul Wight and QT Marshall was completely unnecessary, and the absolute atrocity that was Chris Jericho's entrance. That was absolutely embarrassing, like I re-watched it while writing this review just to make sure it was as bad as I thought and good god I cringed so hard. (MJFs Y2J entrance tease was hilarious and great for getting heat, but the Fozzy guitarist absolutely killed it afterwards) Also, almost 3 years later I wish that would have been Jericho's final match ever because he has been rarely enjoyable since."

[5.0] "Pretty mediocre overall, nothing that stood out, just very forgettable and had an absolutely unnecessary main event with no rhyme or reason other than Chris Jericho wanted it. Please retire Chris. You haven't contributed anything positive to the show in nearly two years, and its time for a character revamp if you want to continue wrestling. You were so good at that for so long, and now its painful to see you week in and out. The Joe/Swerve/Hanger segment was good."

[6.0] "It was fine, clearly TK bookended the show with 2 big title matches to try and capitalize on the potential new eyes looking for Mercedes, who cut a fairly mediocre promo, and I pretty much hated the lame lights out/lights on/lights out "heel turn hint" segment. There were many other better ways to do that, and I know not every segment can be a 10/10, but it made Willow look dumb and will kill the eventual turn. Also, Mercedes is much better as a heel, but I assume she will be better as a company/corporate ambassador as a face. Okada/Eddie was solid, 7/10, and Okada winning the title is the right call, but I kind of wish that they would have made it less of a 50/50 match and had Okada kind of dominate Eddie, since they're both clearly on different levels (which is not a slight to either man, because Eddie as a character/talker is elite whereas Okada in ring is elite) so I would love to have seen Eddie be dominated and than use his defeat as a lynchpin for a new story of his downfall and eventual rise back up to challenging KO again. The rest of the show was fine, some segments were skippable, some were entertaining, I love the refreshed focus on promo packages/vignettes/recaps and I think it will help keep the show fresh and the audience a little more tuned in to the ongoing storylines."

[8.0] "Best night of the tournament, with a banger of a main event even if it wasnt the tournament final match. Mayu Iwatani vs Yuzuki: A fun opening match where Mayu went through a rookie in a decent match, Mayu winning was the obvious result here [**]. HANAKO, Mina Shirakawa, Waka Tsukiyama & Xena vs MIRAI, Ranna Yagami, Saki Kashima & Syuri: A filler match to get wrestlers on the card, the quality was up and down, just a usual standard house show multi woman match [*3/4]. Hanan vs Ruaka: Even with the interference of Oedo Tai, this match was somewhat decent, Hanan gets another win and heads to the finals [**3/4]. Ami Sourei vs AZM: The better of the two semi finals, the action was back and forth, with tense action on the apron at times, Sourei winning was a surprise as was expecting AZM to win [***1/4]. Mai Sakurai, Mei Seira & Suzu Suzuki vs Lady C, Miyu Amasaki & Saya Kamitani vs Hazuki, Koguma & Saya Iida: A random filler three way team match, that had a few enjoyable moments, but nothing really stood out in this one [**1/4]. Giulia vs Tam Nakano: The time limit draw was not surprising, the match started off strong and ended strong, the action throughout was strong, Nakano and Giulia took it to one another for 15 minutes [***3/4]. Fukigen Death, Momo Watanabe, Natsuko Tora, Rina & Starlight Kid vs Aya Sakura, Natsupoi, Saori Anou, Sayaka Kurara & Yuna Mizumori: An okay multi woman match, nothing memorable happened here [**1/4]. Hanan vs Ami Sourei: A decent final match in the 2024 Cinderella tournament, Hanan winning was surprisingly nice to see, they had solid back and forth exchanges, enjoyed this [***1/4]. Maika vs Utami Hayashishita: A match that featured the two best wrestlers in STARDOM for the top title, I had high expectations for this and boy did it deliver, they had a hard hitting match that was enjoyable from bell to bell, Maika winning and retaining the title was a surprise as thought Utami would have won, definitely recommend anyone watch it if they havent [*****]"

[5.0] "The first half of this show is very rough, and reflects that CHIKARA was really just a student promotion with silly gimmicks at this time. The production is also extremely 2003 indie show. But the Kruel/Reckless Youth match is solid, and the ten-man main event is a lot of fun, with some really novel stuff towards the end. Even this early in their careers, you can tell that guys like Eddie Kingston and Jigsaw get it in a way that so many others don't."

[4.0] "This show just wasn't for me. Neither the title win of Okada, nor the 'I quit match' felt right to me. In general, AEW cares more for the short excitement than for the long thrill and it looks like the booking decisions are just made to let the card look awesome. There is no sense for longterm engagement of the audience at all. It is more like 'It is Toronto' so we have to pull up something big there for the main event and it doesn't matter if the time is right or not. But not only that it didn't fit into the timeline of the feud, that match just wasn't a symphony. And honestly, who needs Chris Jericho at that frequency right now? Nobody cares about Hook and his pseudo title anyway. I no longer wonder why the numbers aren't growing watching these 'fireworks'."

WWF Women's title match: ASS. garbage. is Moolahs whole gimmick here is that she was old and had a long reign? her wrestling was carried by Velvet McIntyres selling and then Moolah just pins her after she misses a dive? I guess going on the top rope was considered ore serious and new back then but jeez that was bad that she was pinned from that. Flag Match: not special. not worth the rewatch but it gets some points for getting the crowd wild up which I think it was th purpose. WWE & NFL Battle Royal: very cool to see all these legendary people in the ring at the same time. got the feeling Andre was winning cause he was the only one with attire that was standing out. nothing special but fun for th history aspect. was also presented very well and quick, WOW! who would have thought wwe could do a battle royal correctly. Tag Team match: I have nothing to say. bless them for giving a wrestling match no matter how basic. I wanted to cry in joy for something resembling a wrestling mach over 5 minutes"

Cena vs. Punk is absolutely one of the greatest matches of all time. But the rest of the show doesn't reflect that. Orton vs. Christian is underwhelming, one MITB match is garbage, and the other is just average. It's really not at all impressive as a whole event until the final match. So essentially to me, Punk vs. Cena being as good as it is balances out the Alberto MITB ladder match being a dumpster fire, and everything else is right around average, so that's what this show gets from me."

[4.0] "Super weird. This show is close to the awful WWE Saudi Arabia shows more than anything else. For the wrestlers, it's got to be strange because they're performing in front of a massive crowd that doesn't know or care about wrestling which means two contradictory things, 1) Keep things snug and realistic and 2) Don't try so hard. The only really worthwhile match on this night was from the AJW roster who were limited by time constraints but nevertheless treated the match as if it were in Japan."

[6.0] "Decent show to me, but the main event was awesome at least. Eddie/Okada was a good TV match, but I expected so much more than that. Mercedes mic work has never been good, but she feels more awkward on the mic in AEW? I dont know why that is, match with Willow should be killer in the future tho. Hook/Jericho had the right idea but was executed not that great. Glad everyone enjoyed the Ospreay promo because that was just a solid promo for me, good intensity on the mic for him tho. The Joe/Swerve business was great though."

[7.0] "A pretty good show although one I felt wasnt quite as strong as their first NJ show. National title match was my match of the night. Enjoyed most of the show. Main event was pretty good but I didnt enjoy it quite as much as their previous match together. Still an enjoyable show but one I did have a bit more anticipation for considering the card on paper."

[5.0] "A decent show but the show really started to drop off after the first three matches. Hector Guerrero is fun to watch on this Smoky Mountain; even if my modern or Guerrero standards he's not that smooth. The six-man tag was decent; though I don't think I care for Nikita Koloff lite (Vladimir). Ron Wright was my MVP of the episode, as we learn he has a client, and are introduced to the Dirty White Boy; someone who will become an important figure in Smoky Mountain. Killer Kyle is not that good, though it was cool to see Jerry Lynn. Tim Horner fucking sucks so the main event was pretty boring. Jim Cornette and Bob Armstrong were also good in their roles on this episode."

[7.0] "Not as good as recent episodes have been, but I still thought this was a solid episode of Dynamite. Loved both of the title matches on this show, with Cope vs Christian being particularly good. Thought Ospreay promo on this show was also very good, and his match with Shibata next week is gonna kick ass. And honestly, as much as my interest in the world title scene has waned a bit, I thought Swerve and Joe's segment was pretty good, and the addition of Takeshita into the mixture is sure to add some spice. There were a few negatives here though, obviously the Jericho match was not very good as expected, and I thought Mercedes' promo was really awkward and bad which is weird because she's usually pretty good on the mic. Overall though, I still enjoyed this show, and with how next week's card is looking, it's sure to be great next week too."

[1.0] "This is one of the 5 worst Wrestlemanias ever, easily. 9, 11, 27 and then there's this one, it belongs in that kind of conversation. The card wasn't special at all, but they managed to make it worse with the booking somehow, even if the Zack Ryder win at the beginning was a special moment. Having the New Day lose to one of the worst factions ever and having Charlotte go over in the title match are two of the most disappointing decisions in the last ten years of Wrestlemania. The main event doesn't deserve any comment and you should stop watching this show after the second match, in my opinion."

[8.0] "both tag matches where good. The opening tag ladder was worth the $9.99 for Fite+ in and of itself. I don't understand why Mancer would lose the loser leaves MLW match, particularly with his stablemates winning the belts. The main event was longer than it needed to be. They could have easily cut it and put in an additional match without losing anything. edit: I'm raising my radting to an 8.0. Without too many spoilers, after watching the next couple episodes of Fusion it makes a lot more sense why Mancer would be booked to loos his match against Cardona."

[6.0] "Pretty good indie wrestling show, with what I would say two very good matches. The opening title match and Skye V Starks are definitely worth watching. After the opener there is about an hour of very fine wrestling that hurt the pacing of this show. Seeing the ETU guys calling out Dragon Gate was pretty cool though."

[6.0] "If your a fan of over the top larger than life circus , superhero acts then this ppv is for you, it would of been great being a little kid watching this in the sky dome, mostly all the top stars of the 80s were shoved on this card, to me watching it , this looked pretty hilarious, if your a wrestler wrestlers fan this while be a horrible offending experience for you, to me it was a as big time ppv Buisness for the wwf , I thought they were to many matches and they were to short with hardly any actual wrestling, macho king vs dusty Rhodes should of been a one on one macth not in the middle of the card, the hart foundation got no time whatsoever, the rockers tag macth was going well till it ended early of a square, the best macth on the card was The million dollar man vs Jake the snake it was mediocre, obviously this ppv will be remembered for the epic ultimate showdown main event between hulk hogan and the ultimate warrior"

Some good matches, some others are less good but none bad. Some talent here with Millie, Nina, Alex and others. Made me want to watch more so it has done its job!"

The main event felt like a long series of headlocks to run down the clock. A waste but I suspect it lined up a bigger match later on."
