105.08.2017PUNQ5.0Didn't include any blow away matches, but it was still one of the overall better NOAH B-shows. Abismo Negro & Charly Manson & Psicosis -vs- Taiji Ishimori & Oriental & El Angel [** 3/4] Yey! More Mexicans in NOAH! The crowd was pretty quiet because they have no emotional attachment to these workers, but they seemed focused and interested in these new colorful characters. The luchadors almost worked this in a NOAH style pace and build starting slow and then gradually making it more interesting with bigger happenings so they didn't look out of place and was a nice addition to the usual NOAH undercard. Takeshi Rikio & KENTA & Naomichi Marufuji -vs- Tamon Honda & Tsuyoshi Kikuchi & Go Shiosaki [** 1/2] This had a lot of potential and it delivered in periods with them coming up with a lot of good stuff, but sadly the pace was set a bit too slow for any of this to take off to a climax. Honda was teasing wrestling with Kobashi's spirit. The Kobashi friends should have used more of that Kobashi passion. Jun Akiyama & Yoshinobu Kanemaru -vs- Akira Taue & Ricky Marvin [** 1/4] Taue and Akiyama was having fun with Taue up for it working hard to make this a entertaining battle. Can't say the same about Akiyama though. Marvin and Kanemaru traded the fast stuff and as usual Marvin was as fluid as ever. They didn't have the intensity the entire way which prevented it for becoming a strong main event, but as a easy crowd pleaser it delivered.
