[6.0] "One of those DGUSA shows with far less high points (i.e. no 'really good' or 'great' matches), but far more consistency with the number of 'good' matches. Cannon vs Jacobs was a bit goofy due to its overly choreographed nature, but it still had a few decently smooth exchanges. Hard work from both. ***. Hulk & Homicide vs Tozawa & Moxley was pretty fun. Hulk had fantastic energy and acrobatics, always the picture of perfection when hitting his signature moves. Tozawa's energy and attitude was infectious as always. Moxley and Homicide differed by being more brawl-heavy, which was a nice addition to the match's content. ***1/4. Cima vs Shingo was another good match. Solid bully work from Shingo, while Cima sold well and responded with speedy and energetic attacks. It picked up once both began trading signature moves with passion and energy. The constant kick-outs felt unnecessary for a mid-card match with near-zero stakes, but the moves leading to those kickouts were all very impressive. Both worked well together, but only the second half felt important, and even then that half was quite overdone. ***1/4. Warriors International vs Ronin was MOTN. It ended up being a very non-traditional DG multi-man tag because of Ronin's resistance to engaging, meaning that no interesting exchanges could start after Ricochet's work in the opening minutes. Ronin's heel work was entertaining, but their offence was seriously lacking, with their control work being quite dull. Thankfully, the heat segment made for a fantastic hot tag for Ricochet, and Ronin then responded by putting far more-interesting exchanges together. This totally changed the mood, with everyone finally working at a meaningful pace and executing memorable, creative offence. Yeah, it basically just became a spotfest, but a good one. Remove those uneventful first 10 minutes and I'd be way higher on this. ***1/4 - ***1/2. Yoshino vs Yamato was a rematch from their Dream Gate match at Kobe World 3 months prior. Their work was fine, but trading holds and other low-intensity moves for so long was quite mind-numbing. They slowly started showing more energy and speed, but they were just running through all the signature moves that they were already expected to trade, so none of it was especially interesting despite still being good. It also just felt like they were hitting moves for the sake of it, without any clear story to hold it all together. They still worked hard down the line, but lacked the intensity or creativity to make this feel like a truly worthwhile main event. ***1/4"

Dennoch eine gute Show 7 Punkte."
