[10.0] "Another superb Smackdown a week after one of it's greatest episodes because of the two excellent matches here between Edge vs Kurt Angle and Rey Mysterio vs Chris Benoit. Neither match goes to a clean finish with Angle and Benoit continuing to feud and then Stephanie forces them to team up. This is also the episode that starts the new tag team tournament with Los Guerreros established well as a threat in the opening match. I couldn't understand why Billy and Chuck lost to a random pairing like D-Von and Faarooq though. The Matt Hardy vs Undertaker match is an obvious set up for a Lesnar ambush (which I was fine with), but the F5 that caused Undertaker to lose the match looked weak because of the obvious soft landing. The attack with the propane tank looked great though with Undertaker screaming in pain to sell it and that lead to the Hell in a Cell stipulation. This week gets a 10 as well because despite it's slight flaws, it is an exceptional show at its best."

[8.0] "Outside of the last tag match and bikini contest this was a really good show here with two really good matches and Hardy/Undertaker being a good brawl and better angle with Lesnar allowing Matt to get the pin. At this point it is unbelievable that both Smackdown and Raw are produced by the exact same company."

[9.0] "The tag team tournament kicks off with two fine wrestling matches. Edge/Angle was great, and so was Mysterio vs Benoit. Taker/Hardy was more so to advance the story between Brock and Taker, it did a pretty good job of that with Lesnar messing up Taker's arm, it led to a HIAC match getting booked for NM. Overall another great episode of Smackdown with all the matches being booked having importance."

[6.0] "Like the previous week's Smackdown, this episode had two pretty good matches and was surrounded by a bunch of other matches that were totally forgettable and inconsequential. Unlike the previous week, though, there weren't any especially entertaining or interesting segments to carry the rest of the show. Eddie & Chavo vs Rikishi & Henry had the big babyfaces against the small but crafty heels. Eddie having to sell Rikishi's comedy spots was disappointing, but his and Chavo's acrobatics, aggressive brawling, and methodical tag work were nice. Short but nice stuff. **1/4. Matt vs Taker was a low-effort brawl in the crowd and backstage, once again just designed to further Lesnar vs Taker. NR. Noble vs Crash was another short, insignificant match. NR. Angle vs Edge could have been really good, since Edge was surprisingly on point with his technical work and his rib-selling, while Angle displayed good aggression and rib-targeting. Sadly, Angle decided to also totally no-sell Edge's nice arm work, and then the match went too long and kept getting way overbooked with the typical WWE tropes. ***1/4. The segment with Stephanie booking Angle and Benoit to team together under the threat of unpaid suspension was pretty stupid, since there's no in-world reason given for doing that apart from to create artificial drama. Matt's segment with Lesnar definitely didn't elicit any excitement. Billy & Chuck vs D-von and Simmons was a short, competently worked but totally uninspired match without any star power. NR. Torrie vs Dawn was another trashy and embarrassing bikini contest. Thankfully it was short. Mysterio vs Benoit was pretty good stuff and easily MOTN. They tried to fit a bit too much into their short 10-minute length, but they at least managed to use that time far better than Angle and Edge, who went twice as long earlier in the night. Their mix of styles led to some really fun and creative exchanges and spots. Mysterio's high-flying was fantastic, and Benoit's strikes, power moves, and technical work all looked realistic and laced with viciousness. A shame about the screwed finish with Angle's interference, but the rest of the match was still pretty exciting. ***1/4 - ***1/2."

Wie schon letzte Woche überbewertete Show."

THIS SHOW RULES!"

[10.0] "Was für eine wundervolle Ausgabe von SmackDown! . Fantastische Show. Unbedingt ansehen!"
