| 1 | 20.05.2025 | Open The Vault | 3.0 | The July 19th, 1999 edition of WCW Monday Nitro was expectedly bad. Superbly bad. They have been on a tear of god-awful shows lately and it seems like nothing will be getting better anytime soon! We do get some highlights like The Deadpool debuting and Shane Douglas but that's about it. The angles we have right now is questionable. Cat vs. Bagwell is already off to a god-awful tier with Bagwell wearing black face on TV. Bischoff is trying to get himself over as a good-doer. The Lenny / Lodi storyline seems to be going nowhere, The TV Title is directionless, Eddie Guerrero's LWO hunting storyline is a highlight for me considering Eddie has been a workhorse. Harlem Heat vs. Triad seems interesting, Rodman vs. Savage starts here and so far it's alright. Looks like we're getting No Limit Soldiers vs. Dead Pool. Hogan vs. Nash is questionable at the moment but still waiting for it to ride along. Overall, another WCW show in 1999. [*3/4] |

Several matches were good, such as Eddie/Psychosis, the Benoit/Saturn tag, and Sting/Flair. However, there were the usual problems, such as the main event continuing to be dominated by the old guard and bad matches such as Steiner/Horace, Stevie/Vincent, and Savage destroying Kidman for no reason. Ugh. |

And it was nice to see Goldberg return, the crowd went nuts for him far more than for Hogan, Sting, or anyone else on the card. Lots of utter crap. Lodi and Lenny are secretly gay. Flair and Sting have the same tired match they always have AGAIN. A completely washed up Rick Steiner is ruining the TV championship. And the main event is a rematch of probably the worst Wrestlemania main event ever, and it was just as bad if not worse, what a joke. |

Den Rest konnte man vom Wrestling her aber vergessen. Vor allem der Main Event war schlecht. Mit dem Sieg hat Sting die Kontrolle über die WCW gewonnen und auch sonst wurden die Stories gut weitergeführt. Und Dennis Rodman war da. |
