126.03.2024Karizma Decent storytelling outside of the ring for most of the show. Most of the in-ring work was extremely short, with no match officially going over the 5 minute mark. Hardly any of the matches served a purpose in terms of storytelling. Watching the talent, security and camera crew try to push their way up the stands, through the crowd into the bathroom and back during the Benoit-Sullivan match was pretty funny and interesting. It was very cool to see the Chicago crowd get fired up for their Super Bowl XX Champion Steve "Mongo" McMichael during the tag team match! The closing promo with Hulk Hogan and The Giant was too short for my liking, but it got the job done I suppose. The opening segment with Macho Man and Sting along with the Benoit-Sullivan match and the Malenko-Ultimo Dragon Match are the highlights of the show for me.

315.04.2023mateofuerte6.0The opening angle with Savage taking the show hostage was incredible and groundbreaking at the time. Following it up with an interaction between Sting and Savage, calling back to Sting offering the bat to some other WCW wrestlers in recent months was great. The rest of the show is either alright or bad.
401.10.2022XXDoubleHHXX8.0Macho man opening the show the way he did by having a sit in was instant attention grabber. He beats up Chavo, Max Muscle, a ref, some old guy, Alex Wright all beaten. Sting comes out of nowhere from the rafters, they have a stare downin which Sting gives Macho Man the bat and turned around letting him strike him if he wanted. That was so awesome. nWo Sting had his only WCW match this year before going to Japan. Ultimo Dragon defends against Malenko was match of the night but I also enjoyed Hall vs Booker T.

904.02.2020Mizzle Assault Ant8.0Another quality episode of Nitro! Sullivan and Benoit have a wild brawl, Hall and Booker have a good short match, and the Chicago crowd LOVES Mongo as Arn Anderson and Eddie Guerrero help him along to a pretty good tag match! And we're building to Souled Out on the way, which regardless of how it turned out seemed like a pretty interesting idea at the time.

1130.11.2017jackleone6.0The first hour is interesting, the first angle is amazing. Macho Man returns and occupies the ring, knocking down everyone who tries to stop him. Also there are some good matches, I enjoyed Kevin Sullivan vs Chris Benoit because of the hard punches and the backstage brawl. The second hour is boring, but it's acceptable.
1212.11.2017Kemureti5.0A pretty boring show. The opening segment with Savage and Sting is great. McMichael is really over with the Chicago crowd and it is fun, the Horseman angle with Jarrett is fine and the inner turmoil of the Horseman develops well. The Bischoff vignette is really good. Ultimo and Malenko had a nice cruiserweight match. Benoit vs. Sullivan is good with a fun backstage brawl to start it off. Hall squashes Booker and Luger squashes Stevie. N. W. O. comes out and cuts a promo to redeem this episode to mediocracy. MOTN: Chris Benoit vs. Kevin Sullivan ***1/4

Alles in allem, 5 Punkte.
1822.08.2013WCWler7.0Ordentliche Show, die Souled Out aufbaute.
