The storyline advancement is minimal and there aren't any truly awesome matches to make up for that. Candido Vs Sabu is good, but not something you're going to want to go out of your way to see. As a result it's a thumbs in the middle show at best and I wouldnt recommend going out of your way to watch it |

Dreamer/Funk vs Bulldozer/Raven match wasn't a great wrestling match, but I did think it told a great story. And Raven vs Tommy at this time is very entertaining. I think the show's Low-points were so short, due to being edited for 1 hour television shows, that I didn't find they bothered me as much as they would have otherwise. (Unsure if it is improper that I leave a review being that I watched it as the two episodes of Hardcore TV. 201 & 202. If it is, then I apologize. I did not have access to the DVD or VHS if those exist. ) The only other negative I really had was the music replacement of WWE Network really puts a major dampener on any ECW programming for me. I understand why it happens, And I don not hold this against the show in my review rating, but the Slow piano music funk gets stuck coming out to, and the Gansta's Segments, its not as much about the music, but the fact it causes the crowd to be taken out of the event's audio. Which in turn, makes everything feel like a WWE2k Video game until original audio is returned. |
| 7 | 02.02.2017 | HudE | 6.0 | Der Opener war erneut sehr spotlastig und verrückt, aber mir wurden zu viele Moves gebocht, weshalb es nicht ganz an die 2 vorherigen Matches zwischen diesen 4 herankommt (*** 1/2). Chetti vs. Guido war kurz und schmerzlos. Richards vs. Mahoney war für mich dann fast schon eine positive Überraschung, da es mit 12 Minuten lang ging und trotz der Teilnahme von Mahoney an diesem Match keine Katastrophe war, sondern ein ordentlicher Brawl mit ein paar guten Manövern. Ein gutes Match war es jedoch lange nicht. Axl vs. Spike war kurz und schlecht, auch wenn Spike ordentlich sellte. Nach dem Match ging es ohne Pause mit den Dudley Boyz und den Gangstas weiter, die wie immer saumäßig over waren. Es war der übliche Gangstas Brawl mit einem lebensmüden New Jack, der einer der verrücktesten Spots des Jahres verfehlt hat. Das hat sicherlich extrem weh getan. Taz vs. Smothers war in Ordnung und baute Taz weiterhin auf. Der Co war wrestlerisch zwar nicht gut, aber vom Storytelling und der Wirkung her das Highlight des Abends. Raven und Bulldozer wirkten wie absolute Monster und die Reaktionen von Richards, Dreamer und Sandman waren perfekt. Das Match hätte meiner Meinung nach als Mainer kommen müssen, da Sabu vs. Candido wrestlerisch zwar das beste Match an diesem Abend war, aber nicht annähernd die selbe Bedeutung hatte. |

Chris Chetti vs. Little Guido ist in Ordnung nichts besonderes. Stivie Richards vs. Balls Mahoney geht auch so klar. Spike Dudley vs. Axl Rotten langweilig. Dudleys vs. Gangstas ECW Brawl halt. Taz vs. Smothers sah ganz ordentlich aus aber zu kurz. Dreamer & Funk vs. Raven & Brian Lee ein ordentliches ECW Match. Chris Candido vs. Sabu war recht gut aber nichts überragendes. MotN ist ganz klar der Opener. |

Eliminators, Sabu und RVD passten sehr gut zusammen. Nach dem Opener schwächelt die Show etwas, was an drei langweiligen bis schlechten Matches in folge liegt. Dudleys vs Gangstas bringt dann das typische ECW Match (**1/2). Smothers sieht im Squash gegen Taz ganz solide aus. Raven & Lee vs Dreamer & Funk ist ebenso typisch für die ECW (***) und Funk ist mal wieder der MPV der Liga. |
