[8.0] "This was honestly a great return show overall for the TNA brand. Once this show got to the X-Division triple threat, every match from that point on was really good to great. Some big debuts on this PPV as well with Nic Nemeth and Ash by Elegance (fka Dana Brooke) appearing on the show. My favourite match of the night was Josh Alexander vs Alex Hammerstone. I will say sometimes on this show that audio for commentary wasn't the best so hopefully they fix that moving forward. A pretty good starting point for the revived TNA; can they keep the momentum?"

Ein Fantastisches X-Division Three Way Match was sehr gut unterhalten konnte (****1/4).

A solid match card that didn't overstay its welcome is what this brand has been excelling for the past months, even though the fans underrated their presence. Some matches might've unimpressed some fans, but they weren't the worst. Cleansing the palette by crowning exceptional champions (except the X-Division & Men's Tag) was a great move to add mileage to the rebranding process, and the debut of Nic Nemeth became the cherry on the cake's top. To summarize, a fabulous three-hour-long show was presented by the long-tenured alternative to reignite the lost fierce."

"Great first show under the TNA banner. The Knockouts Ultimate X was a solid match and introduced me to some of the womens roster who I either havent seen or only seen maybe once. The entirety of the PCO vs Dango match that turned into the 6 man was kinda lackluster in my opinion. None of the men in this match really interest me and did nothing here to make me interested. This was followed by a lackluster womens tag match which could have been great with more time. I think MK Ultra are sick and Decay is a cool team but honestly this just felt like either the wrong time to change the titles or the wrong way to do it because MK Ultra are supposed to be super dominant champions and they dropped the belts in like 6-7 minutes. We then rebounded for pretty much the rest of the show. The X division title match was one of my favorites of the night these 3 guys just had great performances and I think the 3 way added to this as when Sabin faced Kenta at Bound for Glory it felt like it was missing that next gear and Kushida and Vikingo together pushed Sabin into that next gear. This was then followed up by Alexander vs Hammerstone which I thought was good. This was my first time being exposed to Hammerstone and Ive always kind of disliked Alexanders look and I find it hard to get past. A lot of people liked this match more than me but I still found it to be a good match. Now to my match of the night the 4 way for the Tag Titles. Im a sucker for a big multi man spot fest kinda match and this didnt overdue it in my opinion. All 4 teams had their place in this match even though I think ABC keeping the titles was the right move. Glad to see the GYV and speedball and Ill never complain about The Rascalz getting another match with ABC. Then we move to my least favorite match of the second half the Womens Title match. This was not a bad match I just wanted more especially because both of these women are incredibly talented. This felt like they needed some extra juice for me. Now the main event the World Title this was a good match but not great. I m not too into Moose being champ but I guess hell have his chance to prove me wrong as I know he is a freak athlete. With the appearances of AJ Francis in his really fun segment with Joe Hendry, Ash by Elegance emerging(I dont like that name), and Nic Nemeth possibly chasing and becoming TNA World champ we got plenty of great moments from debuting superstars. The show had a good opener followed by a two bad matches and then the rest of the card was good or great ignoring a slightly disappointing Womens Title match."

[7.0] "So, this is the new era of TNA. I would really like to rate it like an 8, but I cannot. It is a 7 to me, even though three matches were 7 out of 10 and three were 8 out of ten. There were 2 (in reality 3) very bad matches in the first half of the PPV. Yeah, you can argue it's in the beginning, but come on, the card was overloaded. They should've simply scratched those three poor matches and nobody would've missed them. In fact, it would've polished the overall PPV quality. TNA has now over 20 years of expirience in the business and still they have lousy rookie technical problems, which to our fortune were solved in the first half of the PPV. The X-Division Three Way, The 4-Way Tag Team match and the Knockouts Title match were equally good and the standouts of the event. The TNA World Title Main Event between Shelley and Moose, the Singles Match between Alexander and Hammerstone and the ilogical Knockouts Ultimate X Match were the second best in TNA's Hard to Kill event card. Some other observations: The stupid, cringeworhty and atmosphere-killing WWE chant "this is awesome" has now infected TNA as is seems, which is a huge bummer to me. I hate it. The knew ring announcer is not my cup of tea. Where is David Penzer? He had a cool voice! Nobody wants to hear a women scream, except in the bedroom. TNA is going to have a new AAA partnership which is nice, even tough I am no Lucha Libre fan at all, but it'll probably be positive for both companies. The roster is really different for me. I was kinda shocked seeing Ace Austin and Chris Bey aas BC members. But on the other hand, BC lets everyone in and is basically dead at this point, or is it not? It seems like half of the roster is composed of many Ex- WWE Low-Cards, even the still existing commentary problem, has two WWE has beens. I hope the don't make the same mistakes, and bury their own wrestlers like they used to. But seeing the aftermatch of the Main Event with Dolph Ziggler appearing as Nic Nemeth, everybody should know - they DO MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES. Couldn't his reveal wait until the next iMPACT episode? Couldn't Moose have some few minutes of glory? These are the many things that taste sour in my mouth when I think of whole Hard to Kill 2024 PPV. But at least, it was a solid PPV. STANDOUT STARS OF THE NIGHT: Joe Hendry (Countdown to Hard to Kill PPV), Mike Bailey, Jordynne Grace"

[7.0] "Apart from the emphasis on the branding, this didn't really feel too different than the Impact-era PPVs, but that's not necessarily a bad thing as the company's been working on a high standard for awhile now. The first half of Hard to Kill (including the pre-show) was solid if not spectacular - on the pre-show, Maclin gets a solid win over Swann; The System make their official in-ring stable debut as Myers and Edwards win over Kaz and EY, and Dreamer's Digital Media Title reign concludes against Crazzy Steve. All fine stuff that could as easily have been on weekly TV. On the main card, the Knockouts Ultimate X was mostly fine, with Xia, Luna and Threat looking especially well coming off it, though I wonder if it might've been even better as a scramble instead of Ultimate X. The PCO-Dango match (and the six-man it turned into) was OK TV type stuff, though I'd have swapped that to the pre-show and put either Maclin-Swann or the Digital Media Title match in its place on the main card. MK Ultra vs Decay was fine. After that it picks up with a string of good matches, including a strong X-Division Title three-way, a good debut for Hammerstone against Alexander (hopefully Hammerstone isn't a one-off), a Tag Title four-way that was decent (though I think the multi-way Tag Title match is a bit overplayed on recent PPVs), a very good Grace-Trinity KO Title match, and a fine main event with Moose claiming the belt over Shelley (I might've had Shelley retain). We also get the debuts of the former Dolph Ziggler and Dana Brooke; IMO the former should be a decent get for TNA while the jury's out on the latter. All in all a solid start to the neo-TNA era."

The overall energy of the show is what really puts it over the top as the fans and wrestlers all seemed so excited for this new chapter. The rally towels in the crowd helped a lot! X Division triple threat was as exciting as to be expected, same with the fourway tag. Top 2 title matches both delivered in my opinion and nicely set up the future. Only thing I did not enjoy on the show was the 6man tag but even that seemed like some classic TNA nonsense. Welcome back TNA!"

" Largely business as usual and honestly some of the recent IMPACT! PPVs have been better. Nemeth debut is neat but would've had more impact if I hadn't seen him in NJPW like a week ago. Ash by Elegance/Dana Brooke is really hard to get excited about. Hope she proves me wrong. Crowning Moose as the first champion of the new era sure is a choice (probably a bad one: not a good person and just decent as a wrestler). Tonight made the roster feel pretty thin. I dunno, man. Good luck to TNA I guess. Oh also, I ordered the PPV and didn't get to see the pre-show due to the way they had it all set up. Had "technical difficulties" for the first hour. Kinda a terrible way to start it all off and not sure I'm going to keep paying after that whole business and the show just being ok."

[6.0] "The first PPV on the revived TNA brand but unfortunately, they didn't bring everything to the table. It supposed to be a 5-star PPV because of how important this day is. Anyway, not also a bad PPV but just a regular good PPV with few surprises. The opening speech was very touching though. Dana Brooke and Nic Nemeth making their TNA debuts is a fine unveiling. Crowds are hot from start to finish, with "TNA" chants. One major problem here is they forgot the most vital part of TNA, the six-sided ring. How can you revive a former brand without that, it was the reason why TNA was amazing and unique. Just my only complaint for this show. My ratings for this show: Ultimate X match, my review on the matchguide, (***1/4), PCO vs Dirty Dango, I am supposed to not rate this but the way PCO landed on his neck after the botched moonsault makes me decide to rate it anyway, (DUD), PCO/Rhino/Jake Something vs Dirty Dango/Alpha Bravo/Prudius, obviously better than the previous singles match but still a bad match on its right, (**), MK Ultra vs Decay, despite Decay's return, the match was disappointing to watch, (**1/4), Vikingo vs KUSHIDA vs Sabin, my review on the matchguide, (****1/4), Alexander vs Hammerstone, my review on the matchguide, (***1/2), ABC vs The Rascalz vs Grizzly Young Vets vs Laredo Kid/Bailey, my review on the matchguide, (****1/4), Grace vs Trinity, underwhelming match but not downright bad, (***), Shelley vs Moose, my review on the matchguide, (***1/2). Ultimate X was a solid match to kick off the show, some nice spotsbut not the best bout with that gimmick (6/10) The Dang0/PCO segment was the lowpoint of the show, it was silly and really only Jake Something looked good in it. Crowd was into it though (4/10) Knockouts tag match was a nice surprise but it was way too short for my liking, (5/10) X-Division three way was tons of fun. A bit spotfesty but everything was fairly smooth. Sabin Vikingo and Kushida are always a highlight no matter the card (8/10) Hammerstone/Alexander was a good hard hitter . Its clear the walking weapon is a much better wrestler but Alex looked good enough too (7/10) Fourway tag was another fun spotfest a bit chaotic in places but always held together enough. Speedball is the MVP of the match as always his moves look killer even if I already know whats coming (8/10) Grace/Trinity was a very fun world title match and might be my MOTN Jordynne looked like a beast well deserved win (8/10) Main Event had a nice start and it build up to a very good ending but I felt it had a slower pace in the middle that doesn't let it be great. Still Moose is a good heel and Shelley is amazing as always so still very good match (8/10) Rehwoldt & Hannifan continue to be a good commentary duo and can't wait to see whats next for Nemeth after the debut"

But, getting it after getting booked as a goof whole last year and getting his a55 beaten for 30 minutes by guy half his size is taking the pi55 of him, Shelley and a World title. Also, We were promised game changing signing ? Is it supposed to be Nic Nemeth ? ! Guy that everyone interested in wrestling had a chance to watch for a decade, probably getting tired of him doing nothing to stand out and make himself interesting. To push him over TNA originals and young talent already at company would certainly be to "go back" to old TNA days. Notably, almost 35 minutes of knockouts on PPV across three matches. Most matches were serviceable for what it is. That three-man tag is probably the only obvious blemish. There are several pleasant surprises, debuts, and title changes that kept the crowd hot for it. The X division triple threat, Walking Weapon vs Hammerstone, and tag team 4way in particular were well-paced, high-intensity matches that are worth checking out. On the other hand, both world title matches were very much more fundamental, serviceable for the story but definitely not their best work, still solid enough. Nic Nemeth was a good surprise, especially after that Dana Brooke fakeout (sorry Dana). Perhaps having Shelley lose to Moose just to set up for Nic Nemeth is not the best approach though, especially seeing Shelley was looking like going through a heel turn. Still overall, a very enjoyable show that met the expectations."

I'm really happy to see this TNA X AAA partnership and that Triple Threat X-Division was awesome...I can never get tired of seeing Vikingo's work. The fatal 4-way for the tag titles was another good match too and GYV did a great job in their debut. Hammerstone/Alexander was a straight-up brawl and they really went to war! Hammerstone needs to be signed by D'Amore right now after that performance! Not sure how I feel about Ash By Elegance (fka Dana Brooke) but I will give it the benefit of the doubt. Hopefully she'll do well here. But Trinity/Jordynne was a solid KO match for the title and Jordynne finally got to win it again but you can't take anything away from Trinity because she was great as well. Plus the main event was really enjoyable too and Moose is now the World Champion. Plus, Nic Nemeth (fka Dolph Ziggler) popping up was definitely a head-turner! The tag title match was solid but with GYV being one of the main attractions of the match, I wanted more of them. Trinity/Grace was a good match and in the conversation for Trinitys best in her run. Shelley and Moose had a solid main event but Shelley losing was a big disappointment to me. Ziggler is very talented when on his game but he is very far from the biggest signing in TNAs history. The former Dana Brooke being the other big name promoted as signing was also a choice although I dont dislike her. Ultimately a show I felt did not meet up to its expectations on paper and left me feeling less optimistic toward the product than I did at the start of the show and honestly an overall weaker PPV than the majority of the TNA+ events as well as other PPVs."

The first fight #1 Contendership Knockouts Ultimate X was correct, very fun and each of those involved had their moment to shine. The fight between PCO vs Dango felt so poorly booked, especially the trio fight was very slow, with little coordination and speed between those involved. After the women's tag team fight the same thing happened to me as the previous one, very slow and with everyone involved uncoordinated at all times. Here comes one of the fights that I loved, between Kushida, Sabin and HDV, very good, coordinated, synchronized between all those involved and made the audience get involved in it, something impressive, due to how uncooperative it was throughout the show. Alexander vs Hammerstone was equally good, very intense and coordinated between both, the public was involved at all times, so good for the show. I found the fight for the titles as a couple good, not spectacular, but good for the course of the PPV. The women's fight was correct, well synchronized between both fighters, but the very predictable result, with all the rumors that link Trinity with WWE, took me a little out of said fight. Lastly, Moose and Shelley's fight was decent, nothing more to say. With a good ending from Nic Nemeth facing Moose as the new champion. Going back to my previous comment, I feel like TNA had to put all the meat on the grill and they didn't. Regardless of whether they have another PPV tomorrow, I feel like they had the opportunity today and they wasted it. I hope I'm wrong, because I'm very fond of TNA and I'll give it another chance tomorrow, but I'm disappointed to fall short of today's show. 6/10."

"This was a decent show but did feel A bit mid. All of the under card felt rushed and the revel of Dana was a bit funny and NIc Nemith did pick up the feel but overall, could've used a bit more ?"

Ganz klare Empfehlung!"

[5.0] "I was not a fan of Impact when I watched around 2020-2021, so I was intrigued to see if the rebrand would show an upgrade in the product. I guess? It was fine. Nothing more, nothing less. It didn't live up to the hype, but it could've been worse. The Ultimate X and tag match were spotfests with a couple of cool spots but mostly dumb/overdone ones. Moose/Shelley and Josh/Hammerstone were just very basic wrestling matches with boring starts and they just crammed all the worthwhile stuff into the last 5 or so minutes. Knockouts Tag and the 6 man tag were fine with a handful of cool moments. The Knockout and X-Division title match were the highlights, but I feel like there are very many other Sabin, Kushida and Vikingo matches that are more worth your time, even from some of their more recent bouts. It wasn't the worst show, but with so much wrestling out there, I don't see why you'd choose this from all other options."
