4 | 19.06.2023 | 5nicoShuffle | 10.0 | DPW seem to be making more friends & associates, and together with Elevation Pro, put on an incredible show. [1st match] Solid opener and an amazing multiman match, the Elevation guys took to this match like Ducks to water. ****1/2 [2nd match] This match probably was the worst of the night, as there was some miscommunications towards to end of the match, and the match itself felt very much like a TV match. Like the idea of Drake & Malachi being a tag team though, not sure if it was only for this night? but I'm hoping not. **1/2 [3rd match] Very enjoyable powerful ladies match. ***1/4 [4th match] So much heat in this match for The Workhorsemen, starting from the pre-match promo. I think Myles & Meltman should have gotten more of their stuff in, but they proved that they were no jokes. This to me was one of the best tag matches I've seen in a long time, and I would actually give it 5 stars. ***** When The Workhorsemen & Violence Is Forever do eventually clash again, it's surely going to be legendary. [5th match] Yet another spectacular match from Everett, with Killjoy keeping with him. That reverse Frankensteiner from Everett looking super scary though. ****1/2 [6th match] Good match albeit with plenty of interference from T. I. M.'s manager, but as proven by previous BoJack matches, you need more than speed alone to slay the giant. BoJack still came out of this looking strong, so was fine ***1/2 [Main] Like with EPW's Title match, there was some shenanigans from the heel champ, but that's to be expected from Lucky Ali. I was totally blown away by Jason Kincaid's performance, he was super impressive and I've never before seen some of these moves this guy did, he more than matched Ali in the ring. **** Unexpectedly awesome show, would love to see DPW work with Elevation Pro some more. |
