Das Highlight war auf jeden Fall die Konfrontation zwischen Mike Tyson und Stone Cold am Ende der Show, da der Brawl eine tolle Intensität hatte und richtig gut aussah. Tyson war zum Glück wenig am Mikro, da er kaum einen geraden Satz rausbringt aber Stone Cold war hier on point. Ganz okay war auch das Eröffnungssegment mit Paul Bearer, als Fortführung der Story sicherlich gut aber Bearer ist jetzt auch nicht der beste Promo Mann. Bei der NWA Fehde geht es auch voran durch den Turn von Barry Windham, womit unweigerlich auch der Grundstein für die APA gelegt wurde, Ahmed Johnson bestreitet hier sein letztes Raw Match und der Brawl zwischen den Qubecers sowie Cactus und Funk war auch in Ordnung. Zur Abwechslung gibt es hier auch mal eine erträgliche DX Promo. |

Ansonsten gab es noch eine gute Promo zu Beginn von Paul Bearer welcher nochmal (relativ lang und Detail reich) die Aktionen von Kane vom Royal Rumble erklärt. Die vermeintliche Rückkehr des Undertakers aus dem Sarg aus welchem am Ende Kane entsteigt war sehr gut. Kane wirkt zu dieser Zeit wirklich wie ein absolutes Monster aus einem Horrorfilm. Zwischen dem guten Anfang und dem Fantastischen Schluss gab es dann wenig was wirklich erwähnenswert war außer den guten und spaßigen D-X Segmenten. Alles in allem gebe ich der Show 7 von 10 |

Das 8er Tag ist absoluter Mist. Rocky gegen Ahmed fängt zum Glück erst gar nicht an. NAO gegen Godwinns war auch nicht gut. Das Abschlusssegment aber richtig genial. Ganz stark. Im Ring hier nichts Gutes dabei, aber außerhalb so einiges. Passt. |

Das erste Match hinegegen ist zäh und unansehnlich. Brandi ist geladen, steht aber mit Mero nicht auf einer Stufe. Die Quebecers sind wieder da, wie schön. Windham stellt sch gegen Bradshaw - und Jarrett bleibt NWA-Champion. 'Been there, done that' - die DX-Promo am Grill von 'Men to Boys' ist äusserst unterhaltsam und heute auch schon Geschichte. Das 8er-Tag wird einem in wenigen Sekunden vor die Füße gerotzt. Ahmed Johnson, mal wiede beweglich wie eine Kiste Kohlen, fängt sich eine notwendige Niederlage gegen The Rock ein. Das Tag-Titelsmatch ist irgendwie auch recht uninspiriert dahingelöffelt. Was da mit Tyson noch passiert ist strategisch typisch McMahon und überaus wichtig. Im Ring eine sehr bescheidene Show, in den Stories und besonders den Promos jedoch wegweisend bis saustark. |

Vince McMahon introduces Mike, and he says he loves the WWF and namedrops Bob Backlund and Nikolai Volkoff, which rules. Vince announces that "Iron" Mike Tyson will do something at Mania, and Austin comes out. EVERY official and nearly every referee in the back comes down to maintain order. Austin says this is his world and that he's the real baddest man on the planet/toughest SOB in the world, etc. Austin says he has sign language, and as soon as he says that, Vince's eyes go completely bug-eyed, and he gives Tyson the double bird. Tyson shoves him and IT! IS! ON! TYSON AND AUSTIN! TYSON AND AUSTIN! Vince yells at Austin as he leaves, "YOU RUINED IT, DAMNIT! YOU RUINED IT! " This may become a big thing in the future |
