[8.0] "Ziemlich gute, weil schnörkellose Ausgabe von SmackDown mit effektivem und simplem Booking. Sheamus gegen Sami Zayn ist ein guter Opener. Gunther gegen Kofi ist ein Aufbaumatch für Gunther, aber dennoch auch mit starken Momenten für Kofi, als er zum Beispiel nach der Powerbomb noch aus dem Pinversuch kommt. Ricochet gegen Santos Escobar ist dann ein super Match zweier Leichtgewichte. Zwar ist der SmackDown World Cup nicht unbedingt eine wahnsinnig gute Idee gewesen, aber immerhin steht am Ende nicht nur ein Plastikpokal, sondern auch ein Titelmatch gegen Gunther."
[7.0] "A fun show, but in the same line as all others. Nice Main Event, some filling for the Bloodline storyline, Tegan Nox returning is nice, but nothing great. Gunther vs Kofi and Sami vs Sheamus were solid. A two hour show that feels like it was just one."
[8.0] "Eine Sehr Gute Smackdown Ausgabe mal wieder. Der Opener ist gut genau wie das Anfangs Segment von der Bloodline. Sami Zayn gewinnt durch eingreifen und die Bloodline wird weiterhin stark dargestellt (***1/2). Emma muss sich dann Shayna Baszler entgegen stellen, die absolut keine Chance hat. Nach dem Match greift Baszler, Emma weiter an und Shotzi Versucht den save zu machen. Soweit ist das alles inordnung. Kofi Kingston gegen Gunther war Inordnung. Gunther gewinnt natürlich als Intercontinental Champion und wird auch weiterhin gut aufgebaut und das obwohl Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci von Strowman vertrieben wurden. Main Event ist dann das Match worauf ich am meisten gehyped gewesen bin, weil beide Wirklich extrem viel drauf haben. Ricochet vs. Santos Escobar war ein wirklich gutes Teschniches Wrestling Match. Sehr viele schöne Spots und Ricochet krönt sich am Ende zum Smackdown World Cup Champion (****1/4). Insgesamt bekam man 2 wirklich gute Matches geboten mit Sheamus vs. Sami Zayn & Ricochet vs. Santos Escobar. Sonst führte man auch die Fehden und sonstigen Geschehnisse weiterhin gut fort und die Show hatte generell einen guten Faden gehabt. 8 Punkte."
[8.0] "Sami Zayn has found a family twice and this time all family members accept him as a native, great, I'm happy. Tegan Nox welcome back, I hope your comeback will be more successful than Emma's. SmackDown World Cup tournament was held and Ricochet/Escobar showed a real BANGER and I am happy that I can see such matches live. At the same time, of course, there were many interesting segments on the show and it is clear that the blue brand now knows very well what to please us with. Like!"
[7.0] "Hatte mir hier aufgrund der Bewertungen wohl zu viel versprochen. Für ich knappe 7 Punkte. Es halt der Stil der WWE aber gefohlt zieht sich das alles sehr. Zwischen dem ersten Entrance und dem tatsächlichen Match vergehen gefehlt Ewigkeiten und alles dauert lange. Positiv ist weiterhin die Story mit der Bloodline und Sami Zayn, die auch hier wieder bestens unterhält und ein nettes Match mit Sheamus zur Folge hat. Kofi vs. Gunther war ganz nett und der Main Event war ganz gut aber am Ende doch irgendwie ein Smackdown Match. Dafür ein gutes aber nichts, was ich unbedingt empfehlen würde. Die Story um Bray Wyatt bleibt undurchsichtig und ich würde mich freuen, wenn man hier jetzt langsam mal was bringt. Der Rest war solide. Leider hat generell wenig behindert Crowd gezogen."
[8.0] "The Bloodline without Roman arrived, ushered in their success & reinforcement of Zayn as a full-blown Uce and got their head straight to business thanks to Sheamus. The immediate match b/w him & Zayn was really solid despite the shenanigan filled ending. It played a part of the improvement within the brotherly faction fortunately, so that's not to be worried. Wyatt's intimidation continues as he & Uncle Howdy are playing their style of mind games much to the positive focus from the audience since it's super interesting. Emma had a small margin of proving her worth against the dominant Baszler that had a continuation of Raquel & Shotzi still eyeing the prize. Kingston & WALTER's backstage interaction led to the next match which was another concrete showing from both men. Kingston almost had the Intercontinental prize holder's number, but his brute strength prevailed at the end. Bayley & her buddies arrived to amend things on the roster which earned them a fresh duo of Liv Morgan & the returning Tegan Nox. The latter feels replenished & confident to thrive in the atmosphere of the main roster as the final piece of the puzzle I wanted was found. Becky, Morgan & Tegan look pretty new & strong as threats to Damage CTRL. The main event was a blistering dose of high-octane combat presenting their shades crystal clear. Both men were deserving to win the trophy, but Ricochet meant by a better mile as he owes a rematch against the IC champ still. The eventual showdown has a ton of potential to create the magic that was missed previously. This episode was marvelous after WarGames put in the rear-view continuing the hottest story to new heights as well as pitting fresh paths to look forward to. Special mention to Kross as he set his next target in the legendary luchador, Rey Mysterio."
[8.0] "Opening segment was good, and so was Sami/Sheamus afterwards. Tegan Nox made her return good for her. Kross going after Rey isn't interesting in the slightest. Gunther randomly busting out an emerald flowsion on Smackdown is cool as hell. Good angle of Sheamus attacking Usos from behind to set up a tag match next week. The main event between Ricochet and Santos was a really good way to cap off this show."
[6.0] "A pretty decent episode of Smackdown this week with a couple decent matches and storylines to build off from. I was hoping the feuds from Survivor Series were going to be done with, but it seems Triple H wants to run them into the ground."
[9.0] "Gee, they finally deliver a great Smackdown episode, and Roman Reigns wasn't even there. Go figure. It's almost like he makes the shows/product worse. Anyway, last night was surprisingly a great Smackdown episode, which is coming from someone who thinks the blue brand is extremely overrated or overhyped nowadays. The main event here with Santos Escobar vs Ricochet was just EXCELLENT. It was probably the best wrestling match on Smackdown since WALTER vs Rey Mysterio (followed by WALTER vs Shinsuke Nakamura before that one). Triple H reviving Ricochet's career on the main roster with his good booking is just a beautiful sight to behold. Plus, Triple H has officially given me ALL of the great women from Indy NXT that I REALLY wanted to see come back with Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai, Tegan Nox, Emma, and Io Shirai. I'm pretty much happy with the depth of the women's division now with all of those NXT women being brought back! :D Mia Yim and the rumored Chelsea Green are just cool bonuses. That's without even mentioning Zelina Vega's return from her injury too! Anyway, the show tonight was workrate-heavy with 3 really good matches with Santos Escobar vs Ricochet, Sami Zayn vs Sheamus, and Kofi Kingston vs WALTER; which unsurprisingly made the show even better."
[6.0] "An average show with a great main event. There aren't many storylines or feuds that interest me on SD besides the Bloodline and the rest of the matches were too bland to really hook me."
[9.0] "A pretty solid SmackDown although it was short I think it could have been improved more in the promos. The wrestling was undoubtedly very good, most of it."
[8.0] "I enjoyed this show alot, Baszler vs Emma was very slow and disappointing which sucks as i am a big fan of both ladies. Tegan Nox? s return was good and i am glad she is back. Good promos throughout the show and the video pckages hyped me for the main event. Good show."
[9.0] "Starke Episode. Man hatte drei sehenswerte Matches, v.a. der Main Event war hervorragend. Ricochet als Sieger passt IMO perfekt. Zudem war mal wieder alles rund um Sami und der Bloodline brillant. Beste SL des Jahres, hier macht man alles richtig. Dazu war das Damage Control Segment mit Liv Morgan klasse und brachte uns das Comeback von Nox. Kann die gehässigen Kommentare von anderen Usern überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen, bisher schafft Hunter alle Rückkehrer sehr gut einzusetzen. Auch die Wyatt gegen LA Knight und Raquel/Shotzi vs. Baszler und Ronda Fehden wurde ordenltich weitergeführt. Top-Folge, mal wieder!"
[6.0] "The crowd can help a show so much. and this one suffered from a muted crowd. The three men matches ranged from solid to very good, but jesus, what is going with women's division? Horrible, slow to a crowl match between Emma and Shayna. Tegan's retun was met with mostly indifference, but she is a good hand and they need that in the division."
[6.0] "Gutes Final Match im Turnier zwischen Ricochet und Escobar, aber flascher Sieger. Alles mit Bloodline war wieder ansehnlich und Gunther vs. Kofi ging auch klar. Tegan Nox ist das x-te Comeback von den entlassenen Workern die Hunter zurückholt. Mehr Quantität scheint sein Motto zu sein. Der Rest von SmackDown war belanglos. Bray Wyatt befindet sich im Stillstand und wird von Woche zu Woche uninteressanter."
[8.0] "Very good SmackDown post-Survivor Series. The in-ring highlight was Ricochet's SmackDown World Cup win, although Zayn/Sheamus and GUNTHER/Kingston were good as well. Happy to see Tegan Nox return after over a year away, joining Liv Morgan in confronting Damage CTRL. Nox will certainly improve a stale women's division on SmackDown."
