1109.12.2022Prince Osborne7.0The festivities kicked off with a strong triple threat from the men who battled for the final spot in Iron Survivor Challenge. The action was pretty good with the right winner being chosen as Axiom brings a variety to the contest set for the PPV. Bron & Apollo met once again on the outer setting, but it was Bron's world this time. They've been respectful rivals & that's something not being done in recent times; so, for a change of pace, I'm really digging this duel. The Don of NXT is back in style with his eyes set on Wes Lee & the North American gold, but Dijak is on his way as a major roadblock as well. Dempsey had a solid bout with Walker ending up with an interesting start of an arc involving Drew Gulak. He could end up as Dempsey's tag partner/mentor/competitor - the options are pretty open. Pretty Deadly gave an encore mockery of the month's seasonal day until New Day interfered to a swerved surprise. Their presence surely elevated the tag picture of NXT & I'm stoked for the showdown at the PPV. Isla made her debut in style furthering her tension with Alba while Briggs & Jensen had a fun sprint against Edris & Malik. The main event was a strong effort from the women despite lacking the intensity the men shown. Hartwell is a cool choice as a mainstay entry even though I expected Henley to advance. The closing segment delivered wisely in all aspects of selling each combatant's chances of winning the Iron Survivor. This episode, in overall, pushed Deadline to its best level as a strengthened card with nice surprises being added to the stack. The shape-up process is done really well which makes Deadline a show worth to watch.

2207.12.2022vel2.0This episode has all the aspects of a bad show. Poor quality of matches, weak signs that you don't want to watch and extremely poor story development, especially for a go-home episode. During the Halloween Havok period NXT was cool, but after the end of the stories, everything is dead. NXT needs to change major champions and promote more their most promising stars like Grayson Waller or Roxanne Perez.
2307.12.2022Penta Suzuki4.0This episode was a definite step down in quality from last week, especially in-ring. The opener was pretty good but that's about it. D'Angelo looked decent in his 2 minute comeback match and Quinn has now been rightfully placed as a complete jobber. Dempsey vs Some Bloke was not good at all, but to my delight, Drew Gulak appeared in the entrance way. I'd love it if they put Gulak down here in NXT for an extended run. Isla Dawn's debut NXT match was against perennial irritant Thea Hail and it wasn't very good, which is a shame as I hoped for a better showcase for her. The tag match was a mess and the main event was nothing more than adequate with a really bad winner. Segment wise there were some entertaining segments but also some calamities. Fisherman Breakker and his smiling pal Crews going on a fishing trip was absolutely ridiculous and goofy but it had me cracking up, I actually loved it, this is 3 weeks in a row with a so bad it's good segment from Breakker, 2 of which also featured Crews, so by hook or by crook, Breakker and Crews have become entertaining to me, although I'm not sure if it's got me interested in their title match. Pretty Deadly's christmas story wasn't as bad as their last hideous storytime segment, but I still didn't like it, what was horrific though was the music of my all-time most loathed stable hitting and New Day making their way out to set up a title match against Pretty Deadly at Deadline, a matchup made in my own personal hell. McKenzie continued her vendetta against Jobber Bernal and this week roped Jiro into her campaign, Jiro was of course happy to comply, likely down to jealousy of Bernal's vastly superior jacket. They aired vignettes for the 4 pre selected women in the Iron Survivor match and Kiana was comfortably the best talker, the other 3 were all wooden. After her victory, Hartwell confronted Mandy Rose and claimed Saturday was her day and the other 364 days were for everyone else...so she doesn't want to win the title after becoming #1 contender? Abysmal dialogue, abysmal delivery. The main event was the Waller Effect featuring the 5 men in the Iron Survivor match, the talking part felt really forced and unnatural but they had a decent little brawl to close the show. Overall this episode didn't drag and there were entertaining elements, but it could be skipped without really losing anything.

2507.12.2022PACMANJONES8.0This was a showcase of everything NXT currently is, that main event segment alone featuring 5 insanely distinct unique characters all interacting for the first time was such a bizarre yet fascinating visual. Both triple threats were miles better than the ones on RAW on Monday. Gulak and the New Day showed up. There were a LOT of Vignettes which you know I'm all about as well!
2607.12.2022BUIOOMEGA7.0The show was good: good matches, storylines continuations and all. Everything you can expect from a good weekly.
2707.12.2022eltetechori6.0An NXT with many irrelevant stories that only contributed the development of certain superstars that were not extremely entertaining, but well, some wrestling well and others quite short. They should make wrestling a little longer and remove stories that do not contribute anything.
Gepflegte Langeweile.
2907.12.2022Rocky76.0This was primarily a final push for Deadline on Saturday, so story took priority over performance. Fun to see The New Day show up to challenge Pretty Deadly, that'll add something different to Saturday's show. Nothing must see this week, just watch on Saturday and you'll be fine.
