1411.01.2023Damian4.0A pretty bad episode. The one positive is that one actual story started tonight with the return of Hangman. The countless negatives include boring, predictable matches, repetitive rematches, and MJF's story completely jumping the shark.

Soho's Return, Page vs. Moxley, MJF. Gutes Dynamite

3107.12.2022PavelDragunov8.0Hangman is coming back and a hot feud with Moxley awaits us on the move, and I'm sure we'll remember this for a long time, it's right that they came out at each other again after their defeats and I'm already looking forward to their matches with great hunger. MJF is right to get rid of unnecessary ballast, but now the question is what will happen to Regal, I don't want him to leave the company. BCC is bursting at the seams and it's sad, the potential was not fully realized. Ruby Soho welcome, I hope you will start to please as a fighter. The Best Of Seven Series has become a big wrestling event, as has Danielson/Dax. A really well-built show with new stories and beautiful entertainment!
3207.12.2022Prince Osborne8.0Moxley felt incensed heading to the arena, called out the whole roster & received another irate foe in Hangman. His unforeseen return didn't hinder the friction between these two escalating to a pull-apart brawl that felt intense despite being a non-title rivalry. Harwood & Bryan tussled an exceptional fight presenting the best of both combatants' technicality. Even though the path was undefined to continue the duel, it was a gruesome exhibition. Joe welcomed his reign as the emperor of the network through a fun bout against the new signee in Fox & his issues w/Wardlow are set to combust in a bigger stage. MJF orchestrated a prolonged address stating his masterplan since All Out in an entertaining way. The cap-off was unprecedented creating a different aura on the forthcoming pathways for MJF's next big rival. Starks had a sparring contest ahead of his milestone clash while Willow & Anna had a solid entertainer that pleased the fans. Ruby Soho's return is another unexpected one & her immediate focus on Tay was nicely done which shows that time is not wasted on her this time. Jade had the crowd pleased with her presence but there's nothing to take away from Bow Wow's cameo. The main event was handled differently which piques more interest to the Best of 7 series. The fans await to see how the other matches' dynamic will be & the finish is done really well to equalize The Elite's status in the series. In overall, this episode carried the same intensity from last week where the existing arcs progressed right & new paths were formed garnering attention of most of the fans. In addition, the minimal pushup to ROH Final Battle as well as upcoming shows was executed nicely.
3307.12.2022xGongShowJ037.0Another very solid episode of Dynamite. They have a pretty established floor for the show at this point, but they always have a couple segments each week that raise it up a bit. The MJF promo was half standard, half amazing stuff, and when MJF circled Regal like a predator and put on the knuckles, you could see Regal realize that he had let a dangerous animal get the read on him - fantastic acting. MJF does need to change up his promo subject matter a little bit.

4503.12.2022MaveDeltzer6.0Good start, a decent end, and a dragging middle. The same might be said of MJF's promo, which reads as him pre-emptively protecting himself against criticism by saying "I meant to be boring and repetitive so I win if you don't like it." The ironic thing is that MJF has been so good at playing his heel character that the fans appreciate him too much. For all of his talent on the mic, he has been a heel who is unable to get actual heat. Maybe a reign of terror or at least the threat of one is just what the doctor ordered. The promo went a bit long but I liked the ending. Hangman and Moxley went a bit long as well but was mostly okay and I'm into seeing them go at it again. Hangman is also at his best when he can be fired up like that. It still feels like there are momentum issues with these shows and I don't know if that will ever be fixed.
4602.12.2022RavenCrow758.0Great show. All solid matches. Some great story advancement with a lot of the promos. Hangman Adam Page and Ruby Soho returns are going to light things up. Starks showed why he is the number one contender for the title despite "CRYBABY" Ethan Page having a temper tantrum.

5302.12.2022flightaker3217.0Hangman coming back unexpectedly to confront Moxley was good, and the brawl they had afterwards wasn't really good, the one they had backstage was better for being kept short. Bryan/Dax was obviously a great match. Ricky Starks/MJF as a feud is an interesting prospect. MJF/Regal segment was dragging at the end, but I thought they nailed the ending so it was executed nicely. Elite/Death Triangle match was good, but man imagine if they only had a best of 5 instead of 7. Opening for this show was good, middle was meh and the ending was good

5502.12.2022germshep247.0I really got to say I'm getting tired of the Best of Seven Series do we really need the same match every week and by the rating on here its clear that others are too as each match just keeps going down in rating though it is still pretty positive. Other than that Daniels vs Harwood was great as expected it is nice to see the build for the final ROH PPV of the year even if the Claudio and Yuta and JAS sit down was a bit bland. I really like the prospect of a Ricky Stark and MJF feud. the Story of Powerhouse has me curious with what the plan to do with him. Other than this we got alright matches put nothing remarkable to make them standout.

6401.12.2022Stephismo3.0I guess I'm going to be the buzzkill and say I thought this episode of Dynamite STUNK. The return of Hangman and the angle with Mox was great, but that's all the positives I really have to say. I know people like the Danielson/Dax match and the trios match, but those two matches did NOTHING for me. They were fine, nothing wrong with them, but they weren't great either. The JAS/Wheeler & Claudio segment was a mess and made me far less excited for Final Battle. Most of the segments involving the women were pretty bad this week. The Jamie Hayter segment made no sense, the Anna Jay/Willow match was not good at all, the Jade segment was horrendous, and Ruby's return was just okay. The worst part of the show though was MJF's promo, and I did not think I would be saying that. There were two major issues: 1) The promo was WAY too long and dreadfully boring and 2) It made AEW seem glaringly second rate. This "bidding war" stuff is truly awful and makes AEW look really, really bad at a time where they absolutely cannot give off that impression. I would drop that angle immediately, as it will only hurt in the long. I was excited for MJF's title reign, but if this promo was an indication of what it's going to be like, then I'm probably gonna become uninterested really quickly. I was really hyped after last week's Dynamite, but this week brought me right back down to Earth with AEW's recent mediocrity.

6701.12.2022eltetechori8.0A very good program that is really enjoyable. Good wrestling and good stories that little by little better things will come up. The best without a doubt the longest talk in the history of MJF that ends with the betrayal of Regal and the wrestling of Danielson vs. Dax and the trios. The rest was average but not bad.

6901.12.2022xmarcsthescot5.0Pretty middle of the road episode of Dynamite. Nothing here really stood out to me from an in-ring perspective, other than the opening match. 7501.12.2022coppercowries7.0An interesting episode. I struggle with how MJF is being presented. He's trotting out every possible cheap heat ploy, but the crowd continues to want to cheer him. The segment felt overly long and I'm weary of the WWE callouts. Seems like he'll be the polar opposite of Moxley. Mox fought pointless match-of-the-week challenges, whereas MJF is going to rarely take challengers. But since his main sell is his talking, I actually prefer that. Will make title matches feel special again I hope. Just need to dial in his presentation, because the narrative is weird. Jade had a spicy segment, but the Bow Wow stuff is just channel changer stuff. Some fun returns, happy to see Ruby and obviously Hangman back. I thought they both had exciting returns. The matches were all good to great. Bryan and Dax were good, Willow is always fun, and the Trios continue to push the Death Triangle story with a fun sudden finish.
Kein Mehrwert in irgendeiner Weise. Erste Sichtung seit Mitte September. "You don't even know me." Neutrale Ecken, my ass.
7701.12.2022BEER CAT7.0The wrestling was more than adequate and I'm willing to forgive the Jade vs. Bow-Wow stuff if it gets clicks. Willow and Ricky are effortlessly over as babyfaces, Dax/Bryan was impossible to mess up, and the Best of Seven is still a rollicking good time. But when your desperately needed new champion, #1 draft pick and beacon of hope for the future makes his first appearance after being crowned and it's THAT... well, that drags the whole show down doesn't it? MJF can't be a super heel and a cool heel at the same time. Nobody wants you invoking WWE names for cheap heat. Nobody wants you to go that long.
7801.12.2022kakkakikkare7.0Three stop show: Dax vs Danielson, a great match - a good MJF promo and turn on Regal - The Elite vs Death Triangle, good action packed highlight reel of spots
7901.12.2022denierstragedies6.0Think i'm done watching weekly Dynamites in full now. Too much of this show is messy, uninteresting or downright bad now, nowhere near the electric can't miss tv that AEW used to produce. Dax and Bryan had a fantastic match in fairness, but it would be hard for the greatest wrestler in the world and one half of the best tag team currently going to lock up badly. They definitely could have done better but for what it was it was a great opening match. Mox and Page clashing is definitely an interesting route considering how good their match was going before Page was injured last time, but I think the segments they were involved in were a bit clunky and without much real heat as Hangman didn't say anything at all and Mox seems to have just moved on from the ultimate betrayal last time. I liked Joe's defence of the TNT title as it was to the point, got both guys in the match over and Fox bumped like crazy for Joe, but beyond that it wasn't anything special. The MJF promo is perhaps my least favourite of his actual wording wise in a while. I can't tell if he was trying to be meta by doing the same old shit and then calling out fans who would complain about him doing the same old shit but it didn't really make the promo better or smarter if he was, it just made it, well, the same old shit. Him turning on Regal works for his character, he used Regal to get what he wanted and dumped him as soon as he got the chance because he had outlived his purpose. However, it makes it a bit of a mess logistically, AEW need strong competent and senseful booking rather than more shocks. Don't have anything else to say about the other segments, most of them were just there and didn't make me want to stick around to watch what happens next in their stories. Disappointed, and will probably just stick to catching matches by guys i'm invested in than caring to watch the full show again. Match Ratings: Dax vs. Bryan - 8/10, Fox vs. Joe - 6.5/10, Starks vs. Ari - 4/10, Jay vs. Willow - 5.5/10, Elite vs. Death Triangle - 7/10.
8001.12.2022joethom8.0This was an overall good Dynamite. The booking of MJF continues to feel off and not the direction his reign needs to be going. The Regal stuff has been bad and confusing. That aside the Harwood-Danielson opener and Trios main event delivered great in ring matches. Everything else was pushed along more. Wish Starks and MJF had a face to face.

9801.12.2022raininglightning8.0I really enjoyed this episode of Dynamite. My only real complaint would be that MJF and Ricky Starks didn't interact on this show and, instead, looked to start their next feuds (after Winter is Coming - with The Firm and Danielson). While I don't believe Ricky Starks is winning at Winter is Coming - these are two of the best performers on the microphone in AEW right now. I was looking forward to a proper feud between them to see what they brought up against one another. Instead, Starks feels like an afterthought in his first ever Championship feud and match. Very disappointing. The matches on this show were excellent though. The Elite vs Death Triangle continues to impress and I loved Dax vs Danielson. This was also one of the best performances by Samoa Joe in AEW (who looked more like his old self against AR Fox). A great show with one disappointing aside.

10001.12.2022Grissom8.0Ordentliche Dynamite Ausgabe.
