[9.0] "The show started with a surprise addition of Renee Paquette & she changes the dynamic of AEW's broadcast team with a big boost. The ring equipped with a started between two former friends who are bitter rivals & the action was wild as heck throughout. WarJoe did their work short & sweet and bridged FTR & the returning Shawn Spears towards The Embassy to end the enmity. The elder, experienced Gunn still got it against Strickland who enacted as a tremendous villain showing a bright chance of sticking to it & reaping perks. Moxley & Page looked right in their eyes, delivered what's in their heart and flawlessly elevated the tension between them with ease. Jericho & Bryan completed the trilogy with a super solid contest that felt a bit short of their superior ones but still presented great & on point. Garcia's dramatic turn added value to his arc moving forward while possibly extinguishing the fire. The women handled business effectively in a fiery sprint thereby bringing the next challenge for Storm in her partner, Shida. The main event was another straight fire sprint bringing a different path of action from both men with a finish that's well earned by Cassidy. AEW made their Canadian debut in supremacy giving a lot of action to enjoy & carving different yet interesting paths for future stories. 8.5 out of 10 points!"

Luchasaurus showed he can compete at a high level and Jack Perry did great. Swerve has all the makings of a top level heel and it's insane how Billy Gunn is so over right now. There was plenty of story progression and high level wrestling. Orange Cassidy and PAC had an alltime great Dynamite match."

[8.0] "Canada meet pro wrestling! And immediately the appearance of the favorite of all fans Renee Paquette and this is a strong addition to the cohort of interviewers! Then they didn't give us any rest and immediately showed us a dynamic Jack Perry/Luchasaurus match. Canada greeted Christian and then the intensity of passions only went forward because Daniel Garcia chose the entertainment side and as a result remained on the side of Jericho, and Bryan was another big defeat. Hangman/Mox promo was phenomenal, Adam just smashed his forehead and verbally and charisma rebuffed Jon. MJF interestingly began to resemble a good guy, but I think it's a bluff or... And the cherry on the cake was the triumph of Orange Cassidy and his first trophy in 3 years at the company. A big show filled with all possible events and giving away the spirit of wrestling!"

There was strong wrestling on this show all throughout with the only matches not being good being the 3 minute tag match and Gunn/Swerve. The only issue with this show is continuing to spin the wheels with the Jericho/Garcia stuff and Bryan once again not being able to beat a high profile star, otherwise a good show"

OC vs PAC was a solid conclusion to their feud and the All Atlantic is a level of title that Orange can have, hopefully he defends in places other than AEW"

This was an alright show but there wasn't any big matches in it."

But judging this purely as one episode of a wrestling show, I thought it was pretty strong, with constantly exciting in-ring action, no real lulls, and a badly needed strong crowd. AEW remains in a very weird place, but just as a collection of matches and promos I enjoyed the vast majority of the two hours."

Toni is overshadowed in another multiperson match. WarJoe is a nothing squash that feels like an unimportant ROH feud. The Jericho storyline is circling and seems to have no end in sight."

So many of the storylines (Britt/Hayder, WarJoe, Jungle Boy/Christian, JAS/Garcia/BCC, and even SIOG/Acclaimed) have stalled out, or even over stayed their welcome that I'm losing interest in the product writ large. I get that there's a huge CM Punk/Elite shaped hole in their booking, but they have a talented enough roster to kick off any number of compelling angles to fill time without over-doing ones already in process."

Maue Show."

Not a fan of multiple tainted finishes on the show and haven't been a fan of this trope for the last couple of months. I think the pacing of the show is a bit weird too. Just when the show starts rocking, they cut to a cold-as-ice Matt Hardy/Vickie Guerrero/Smart Mark/insert undercard wrestler here segment that kills the momentum. All in all, a good Dynamite that doesn't come across as exciting as it should because this company has consistently delivered great shows for almost three years."

[5.0] "Dynamite returns to being pretty average. Luchasaurus vs Perry was quite a good powerhouse-vs-agile-guy match with mostly good chemistry and some nice exchanges. The arm-targeting story was decent but not explored enough. A bit too spot-centric towards the end but still quite fun. ***1/4. Joe & Wardlow vs Comoroto & QT was a fine squash, but the post-match angle with The Embassy and FTR was pretty underwhelming. Cage's promo was awkward, and Shawn Spears's reveal was very underwhelming. Billy vs Swerve was fine for what it was. Billy had good charisma and pretty decent in-ring work. Swerve's boastful heel character work was really good, though his in-ring was a bit stale with how 'methodical' and slow it was. **1/2. I wish Sterling and all his lawyer-based storylines would stop. They're repetitive and way too disconnected from actual wrestling to be remotely interesting. MJF's backstage promo standing up to Hathaway and calling out Regal was really good, as was Moxley's in-ring promo. I'm maybe on an island, but I thought Page's promo was average. He had a few good lines but then some really stupid moments too, like his aggressive compliments towards Moxley, or melodramatically bashing his head while screaming "BECAUSE I AM A MANNNN... DAMMIT! " . Jericho vs Danielson was very forgettable. At least Danielson worked hard and was technically sound, but Jericho looked very washed-up with offence and selling/bumping that was sub-par at best (which was a shame because he was quite good in their last match). They also had a lame finish with Garcia again teasing turning on Jericho only to turn on Danielson. Great. I'm really glad we wasted so many months on this guy just to arrive back at the start with him still in the JAS and still the same arrogant, fake tough guy he already was. That definitely wasn't at all a bunch of completely mediocre drama that is now deemed totally worthless and which could've been totally cut out while altering nothing. Anyways, a middling match. **1/2. Shida & Toni vs Britt & Jamie was alright. Everyone gave very expected performances: Shida was mediocre to decent, Britt was all-around mediocre, Jamie was good, and Toni was decent. Their chemistry was mostly okay, with no distinct botches or awkward moments I can immediately recall. There was no real story, just both teams trading control before hitting their big moves towards the end. Nothing too impressive but acceptable by AEW women's roster standards. **3/4. Pac vs Cassidy was poorly structured but I thought the work itself was quite good. Pac's vicious offence and heel character work were both really good, and he took some great bumps. Cassidy's energetic offence was good too, though I didn't like how forced his comeback was. I still couldn't deny that their chemistry and their individual technique was really strong, and they definitely had quite a few cool spots/exchanges. Danhausen's reveal was dumb-fun, too. ***1/4"
