[6.0] "Frankly this was a one match show. Most matches on this show were either overrated meh matches with the usual modern wrestling problems (meaningless spots, good wrestling by uninteresting wrestlers, and overall lack of realism). The only matches I liked (aside from the Main Event) were the Women's match and the Joe vs Lethal match. One major positive for this event is the stellar commentary team of Ian Riccaboni & Caprice Coleman (and William Regal in the BCC matches). Also the show wasn't f*cking endless like AEW shows tend to be. However the crowd was not that great."

Most matches were great, some delivered more than I expected like the six-man titles (worst match on the show, but still plenty of enjoyment to be had) and the Pure title matches (not big into the Pure title rules and have been fairly ambivalent to both workers but they both impressed me more than ever here). Just when I was expecting the next match to be a bit of a snoozer, they all totally delivered. Briscoes/FTR was another beautiful match, it takes a lot for me to invest in a >40 minute match but four masters had me utterly transfixed."

The remainder of the show did not feel as detrimental as the preceding show but it did not feel PPV worthy either. I especially did not care for the world title switch in the opening match after all that Gresham did to elevate the ROH title between Final Battle 2021 and this show."

Wheeler Yuta vs Daniel Garcia was my match of the night I thought it was so epic to watch the technical work, and I really think those two stole the show. Claudio Castagnoli vs Johnathon Gresham was also quite fun. Of course, the main event was amazing too. But It really went on too long for my tastes, but that pile-driver from the top rope finish? God it was such a brutal spot and I loved it. Rush vs Dragon Lee was also awesome, and the brother vs brother aspect added intrigue. Al of the other matches were good to decent. With the only skippable match in my opinion was the trios title, and even then it had it's moments too. Overall, any wrestling fans that can should watch this, because god damn, what an incredible show."

Gutes Ende einer starken ROH Show."

I think the match placement didn't help, and The ROH World Title match didn't last long at all. The Pure Title match really surprised me; with hindsight I would have opened the card with that match. The main event will probably be the match of the year. I think fans should go out of their way to watch this one."

The energetic crowd and the excellent commentaries also added to the show. Overall, a pretty darn great follow-up to SuperCard of Honor."

The other matches didn't grab me, and it's the main event in particular which left me feeling that this show was a nudge under "Satisfactory" level. I just didn't feel it. It left me almost completely cold by the time the show ended. Then we close on a shot of four AEW guys all holding ROH belts and word comes that Gresham isn't happy with his recent direction and now wants out of ROH. As the sign said, ROH is now in the "Tony Khan Era", for better or for worse."

[6.0] "Solide Show, die ROH hier liefert.

The ROH champions are all signed to AEW and I really feel like ROH is just becoming the NXT of AEW and that it's not a federation anymore. There are still some amazing fights (FTR vs Briscoes & Yuta vs Garcia) but there are also some huge disappointments (Gresham vs Castagnoli & Martinez vs Deeb). I really enjoyed the show but there is still a bitter taste after this one."

Although I'm a bit surprised on some of the finishes, including Samoa Joe and Mercedes Martinez retaining their belts, I was really impressed by their performance so I am not letting that hurt what I think of the show. Rush v. Dragon Lee really stuck out to me, but FTR v. Briscoes II was one of the best tag team matches you will ever see.

The six-man titles changed to Castle & Boys in an entertaining match where Righteous didn't get the shine to prove that they need the titles on them. So, the change was welcoming. Yuta & Garcia went to war dishing out their best intensity in wrestling and their potential could easily lead them as World champions. Blood brothers, Rush & Dragon Lee had a stiff battle that easily could've stunned the crowd anytime where the finish felt dusty. The women's title was defended in a strong showing of technical excellence between Martinez & Serena while Joe & Lethal cashed out in a fun Attitude Era styled brawl. The main event was another collaborated love letter from FTR & Briscoes where every second felt thrilling with the correct change of gears and a fascinating crowd engagement. Another successful PPV and if this is how it'll be presented, ROH will surely become great again!"

[6.0] "Drop in quality from Supercard of Honor, but still an alright show with quite a few good matches. Gresham vs Claudio was alright but weirdly short and simple. Claudio impressed with his energy, strength, and intensity, while Gresham impressed with his technical work and slick movements. They had mostly good chemistry with only a few slightly sloppy moments. ***. The Righteous vs Dalton & The Boys was very dull but not *that* bad. Castle's amateur-wrestling and charisma were decent, but the other 5 were all forgettable. The final few minutes picked with all the run-on spots. **1/4. Yuta vs Garcia was quite fun but at times overly adventurous. I liked the general intensity of all their trades. Their run-on counters in the 2nd half were pretty cool but became quite overkill with how easily and rapidly they countered each other, and their 1st half interactions were definitely too slow for too long. Ultimately still enjoyable. ***1/4. Rush vs Lee was noticeably sloppy at points but still with exciting enough high points. Good with with Rush -- the older and more crafty brother -- relying on his power and cheap tactics to wear his younger brother down. Lee impressed with all his flashy, speedy and explosive attacks, with his athleticism resulting in some great spots whether he was on the delivering end or the receiving. More polished chemistry would have made this really good. ***1/4 - ***1/2. Mercedes vs Deeb was fine. Some of their various exchanges were decent, though their limited chemistry sadly led to some some slow and sloppy interactions. Deeb's complex submissions were cool but not frequent enough. Mercedes sadly looked REALLY amateurish with her various awkward attacks and movements. Their 50/50 exchanges were fine but annoyingly cheesy, plus those exchanges -- along with some of their individual 'big' spots -- were overly choreographed. **1/2. Joe vs lethal was quite good. Lethal's arrogant and wimpy heel character work was nice, making him an effective counter for Joe as the badass babyface. Joe impressed with his many stiff strikes, his intense aura, and his agile and nimble displays. Watching Lethal get more desperate and unhinged was fun, though it was naturally more exciting seeing Joe get more aggressive and begin truly bulldozing through Lethal in response. Some really good near falls for Lethal, the the crowd rallying even further behind Joe. ***1/4. FTR vs Briscoes was MOTN but definitely massively overrated. The 1st half was really good, but the quality noticeably dropped in the 2nd. Dax's no-selling of his shoulder, plus the Briscoes' 'no-targeting' of it, was annoyingly illogical, and all 4 of their interactions became noticeably sloppy, too. Their displays of physicality and aggression remained really good, but then they also overbooked everything with all their many big moves, illegal spots, finishers, and kick-outs. None of their best moments looked especially 'great' either, just 'really good' at best. ***1/2"

Claudio/Gresham could have been longer but was still solid, and a cathartic way to open up an ROH return show. Claudio deserved every bit of that win and the reaction it got. FTR/Briscoes was MOTN and easy MOTY contender. One of the best tag matches I've seen, period. Yuta/Garcia was runner-up for MOTN, and it was great to see a Pure title match where not too many of the rules were "broken". Rush/Lee & Joe/Lethal were both really good matches to fill the card. The women's title match unfortunately suffered from being slotted into the "cool down" spot on the card, but still delivered. And that 6-man tag is criminally underrated, if we're going by Cagematch ratings. Very entertaining card all around, and one I was happy to have seen live."

This was just a predictable result, although it's nice to see Cesaro finally winning a world title. Satisfactory match. [***1/2]; ROH World Six Man Tag Team Title Match: Dalton Castle & The Boys, a lot of memories came to my mind during this match. The boys had improved a lot during this time, nowadays anyone could think they could begin to build their own path inside ROH. The match was pretty interesting, not an instant classic, but a satisfactory one. [***1/4]; ROH Pure Title Match: Very nice match, what a enjoyable showing of proffesional wrestling. The match lenght was just the adequate to make a good impact on the crowd and to let these awesome wrestlers to showcase their in-ring habilities. Good match. [****1/4]; Rush VS Dragon Lee: What else could you expect from these two awesome wrestlers. Every Dragon Lee match is fantastic, and Rush with all his brutality make it felt pretty more personal. Good match. The end was a little weird, but still good. [****1/2]; ROH Women's World Title Match: Serena Deeb once again showing why she is one of the best women's wrestler on the AEW roster, awesome moves, very good seling, good storytelling (there were some botches too, as always). Merceded looked like a very hard champion to beat, so this surely will help to build the women's division here too. Let's expect that in a better way that AEW has does. More than a satisfactory match. [***3/4]; Samoa Joe VS Jay Lethal: Now it's official, satisfactory match, but the worst of the night. Damn, this was terrible slow from both wrestlers, their offenses and defenses almost looked like botches, the sheenanigans from Lethal almost made no sense. The action was good, the near endings were good, but nothing awesome. [***]; FTR VS The Briscoes: What else can I say? this was definitely one the best Tag team matches I've ever seen in my life. What a nice showing. Perfect, awesome. I'm shocked. [*****]; Pretty nice comeback from ROH to live action. this show had everything to be memorable. Samoa Joe finally took revenge on the three annoying wrestlers and showed that his title will belong to him for a very long time. Wheeler Yuta is progressing seriously this year, he is really a canonical pro wrestler on whom you can bet in the future as the main World champion! Daniel Garcia is also great, I now understand why he was so advertised in the locker room. Rush /Dragon Lee should already unite in one group and go to conquer AEW. And finally, the main dish of the show is the Best Two Out Of Three Falls Match: well, it's like I watched the World Cup final, emotions are higher than expectations. The story has been written and FTR have consolidated their status as the world's top team. 2:1 score and the match can already be considered the match of the year and a modern classic of sports! ROH World Six Man Tag Team Championship Match war Solide. Der Main Event ist mein bisheriges Match of the Year!

[8.0] "A good showing, not on the level of Supercard of Honor to me but a lot of enjoyment to be found. Claudio picked up the world title over Gresham, a good match that could probably have been a bit better considering the talents involved, hopefully Gresham can get something a little more worthwhile in TK's ROH because he is fantastic. Nice to see Claudio win either way, very happy for him. The match following was definitely a match that happened, I don't recall most of it aside from a nice moonsault to the outside and Dalton using the boys as weapons. Luckily, things picked up again as Garcia and Yuta clashed over the Pure title, with Yuta picking up the win in a great affair that went from technical to aggressive and heated, a great match up between two rivals who will only continue to do great things if all goes well. Rush and Dragon Lee was decent but not for me, just the kind of match style that doesn't quite work for me especially after a great bout that was absolutely my style. Serena and Mercedes had a good match, Serena is absolute gold in any role so its always going to be at least good when she is there, and it was despite Mercedes feeling a little slow and clunky in places. Lethal and Joe had its moments at the start and at the finish but much of the middle match didn't click for me, nothing special just a match that I wasn't into. Luckily, it was followed by a match I was incredibly into, a wonderful main event with literally everything right about it that is more than likely my match of the year right about now, FTR are the very best tag team in the world and one of the best to grace pro wrestling in a solid decade, and they pair up so damn well against the Briscoes especially when Briscoes are doing their very best to heel their way to victory, and even even better when they don't do so and FTR picks up the win. Wonderful match to finish a great show. Match Ratings: Claudio vs. Gresham - 7/10, Dalton & Boys vs. The Righteous - 5/10, Garcia vs. Yuta - 8.5/10, Rush vs. Lee - 6/10, Deeb vs. Mercedes - 7/10, Jay vs. Joe - 6/10, Briscoes vs. FTR II - 9.5, maybe 10/10."

But, they were still high quality bouts. MOTN was clearly FTR v. Briscos II. Barring that, give my vote to Deeb v. Mercedes, w/ Garcia v. Yuta at its heels. Man, this was a damn good show."

Rush Vs Dragon Lee/ Yuta Vs Garcia were also great matches. Claudio's crowning moment as a ROH World Champion was great moment."

Claudio wins his first major singles title, Wheeler Yuta defending his pure championship was great, the womens title match was good, Samoa Joe is back, and FTR and the Briscoes having one of the best matches of the year. And that FTR vs BCC at the end. Another great ROH ppv, cant wait until they get a show."

[9.0] "I thought this was a fantastic show. I think the only two weak parts were the 6-man tag title match and the crowd. The 6-man was kind of a dud, but it didn't overstay its welcome. The crowd seemed like it was an AEW crowd expecting AEW-style matches when instead they got ROH-style matches. The men's world title match was hurt a little by Gresham's boo-boo face and sudden end. Everything else was top notch. Pure rules match was probably my favourite pure rules match I've seen. Deeb/Matrinez was great even if the crowd was silent ( -_- ). Main Event was amazing. Don't think it topped their first match, but it was still incredible."

I only saw the last few minutes of the Garcia vs. Yuta match because my feed cut out but I could tell it was good. the other matches are fine to okay so I wouldn't really recommend watching the whole show, just the main event if you got some time to burn."

Yuta vs Garcia was technical excellence, Joe vs Lethal had amazing history, and what can really be said about FTR vs Briscoes besides it was one of if not the greatest tag team matches of all time. FTR is the greatest tag team in the business today and is on their way to becoming one of the greatest ever. Most pay-per-views are remembered for one or two matches and this one will not be forgotten for a long time."
