| 9 | 24.11.2021 | MaveDeltzer | 7.0 | If I'm to rate this purely on match quality, I think it scores a little lower. I thought this started to drag somewhere in the second half until the main event. What I really liked about it is that it felt like a cohesive episode of television. Things didn't just happen in a vacuum and stories were threaded throughout. Moose helps Morrissey beat Cardona. We can assume that it's a favour for a favour and that Morrissey will in turn help Moose in the main event against Edwards. Now Edwards is in trouble. Josh Alexander comes out and says that he'll be watching the main event from ringside. The added threat of Morrissey adds even more legitimacy to Alexander making that decision. It now seems that Edwards could have someone watching his back in the interest of fairness, but it's a red herring. Here comes Jonah to to put an end to Alexander for the night. Now Edwards seems to be alone again. The main event goes on and Morrissey turns up to help Moose, but then Cardona, who Moose screwed over earlier, comes out and evens the score. It all makes sense. On top of that you have the Tales from the Crypt style "Bad guys gets ironic comeuppance" in the form of Sabin vs Austin, which is all pretty satisfying after weeks of Austin being an obnoxious dickhead. I think in general I liked the booking more than the matches, but there were a few decent matches too. |

Austin/Sabin, Trey/Maclin/Laredo, James/Martinez & Moose/Edwards were all really good matches! Swann/VSK was better than I thought it was gonna be, Morrissey/Cardona was good(I hope the win means Morrissey re-signed with Impact) & IInspiration/Decay was also good, better than their BFG match. I also liked then announcing the first 2 matches for Hard To Kill, already. Mickie/Deonna II should be great & the announcement of the FIRST EVER KNOCKOUTS ULTIMATE X MATCH was awesome! JONAH's debut was also great! The only thing I didn't like was Good Brothers retaining, Bullet Club definitely should've won. Other than that, I really enjoyed the show! |

Das X-Divison Match wurde dann wieder besser, endete aber mit einem gebotchten Finish. Mickie James vs. Martinez war auch nok. Das Tag Team Title Match war eine Enttäuschung. Die Good Brothers spulen nur noch das nötigste ab und deren Matches sind meistens langweilig. Das Match der Show war dann der Main Event mit dem Full Metal Mayhem, sofern man dieser Matchart etwas abgewinnen kann. Das Match hatte aber mit vielen Längen zu kämpfen, da es manchmal einfach zu lange brauchte bis die Spots vorbreitet wurden. Insgesamt ein durchschnittlicher PPV mit eher mittelmäßigen Matches. |
