AEW failed to capitalize on the momentum achieved after Punk's momentous return. A terrible dynamite and sub-standard Rampage. 6 it is for me. |

Mark Henry feels completely out of place and Chris Jericho is trash. He just shouts the entire time and brings the whole thing down. Hell I'd love to hear Don Callis on commentary for the entire episode instead of them. The split screen interviews before the main event are a good choice though. Solid promo from Callis and Omega despite the usual silliness. |

Kurzes Aftermath hat absolut Sinn gemacht. Danach schleppt Miro Fuego in den Ring und reißt ihm die Maske runter und wird weiter als Heel gefestigt. Gleichzeitig wurde die Fehde mit Eddie Kingston ein wenig angeheizt, schönes Segment. Conti vs. The Bunny war dann ein nettes kurzes Match, in dem Bunny in Penelope Ford eine neue Verbündete gefunden hat. Die Distraction war ein bisschen komisch getimed, aber schön dass man hier auch außerhalb von Dark und Elevation eine weitere Storyline mit den Damen anstößt. Im Anschluss gab es ein schönes Hype Video für Cage vs. Hobbs bei Dynamite. Das Interview mit Omega und Cage kurz vor dem Main Event war auch ganz gut und hat seinen Zweck erfüllt. Der Main Event war dann okay, auch wenn ich Cutler definitiv nicht darin gebraucht hätte. So war das letzte Match die kleine Schwachstelle der Show, die insgesamt immer noch ziemlich gut war. 7 Punkte |

Das war insgesamt sehr ordentlich und davon profitiert dann auch der Rest der Show, der sich zwischen mangelhaft (Main Event) und okay (Tay vs. Bunny) einsortiert. Aufbau für Miro vs. Eddie geht so irgendwie auch an mir vorbei, aber ist am Ende noch ausreichend. Das Splitscreen-Interview war nicht gut, Kenny mal wieder mit einer nicht so guten Darbietung, Kazarian schließt sich dem an und Cage von der Stange. Als Show ist das dann ausreichend, aber man kann auch nach 20 Minuten ausschalten und verpasst letztendlich nichts von Bedeutung. |

Non Stop Action hier und tatsächlich setzten sich die Brüder durch. Tolles Match und mein Wunschmatch bei All Out findet statt. Hoffe auf den Titelwechsel denn die Luchas hätten doch gute Gegner auf Heelseite wie FTR oder SpearsL/Wardlow. Nach dem Feuerwerk ging die Show noch ganz ok weiter. Bunny gegen Conti war ein solides kurzes Match. Interessant das hier Penelope Ford auch eingreift. Erste Vorzeichen für die Casino Battle Royal. Der Main Event war natürlich nicht ganz so spannend. Es war klar das Cutler den Pin fressen muss. War aber im Grunde auch ein solides Tag Team Match. Nichts was lang in Erinnerung bleiben wird aber durchaus ok. Rampage bleibt einfach ein rundes Format und mit der Stunde auch nie langweilig bisher. |

Das sich die Lucha Brother's hier durchsetzen finde Ich ist die richtige Entscheidung und vorallem erlebt man ein nächstes Chapter zwischen den Young Bucks und den Lucha Bro's (****1/2). Dann sieht man Miro, der auf der Stage einen abgefertigten Fuego Del Sol verfolgt und sagt das er den Vetrag nicht verdient hat. Dann kommt Eddie Kingston heraus was definitiv zu einer Titel Fehde führen wird. Tay Conti vs. The Bunny war Inordnung, mehr aber auch nicht. Was man jetzt mit Penelope Ford & The Bunny Vorhat keine Ahnung. Da bin ich mal gespannt. Main Event war Inordnung, aber Brandon Cutler kann ich nicht mehr sehen. Nervt mittlerweile nur noch und sollte mal lieber eine etwas ernstere Rolle bekommen, da er im Ring eigentlich schon relativ solide ist. Ich persönlich brauche keinen Michael Nakazawa 2. 0 in der Elite, deshalb sollte man Cutler schon etwas Ernster mit in die Gruppierung aufbauen. Insgesamt mal wieder eine Gute AEW Rampage Episode, die sehr viele Plus Punkte durch den Opener Bekommt. Wäre der Opener nicht gewesen, hätte ich der Show Solide 6 Punkte gegeben, aber durch den Opener eben Werte Ich die Show mal auf 8 Auf. |

Even when there are two filler matches, like there were on this one, it doesn't feel like a slog to get through. It left me wanting more, which is exactly how a wrestling show should be! The opening tag match was great fun, and the main event was entertaining enough, if a little forgettable. Unfortunately Tay Conti vs. the Bunny wasn't particularly good. The justification for on the last Dynamite Felt very forced, so it had little heat behind it. The match itself felt a little disjointed, with a finish that's been overused. But it only lasted 4 and a half minutes, so I can't really complain. And the alliance between Ford and the Bunny certainly makes the Battle Royal more interesting. The other segments were fun, as usual. The brawl between Miro and Kingston has me really excited for their match at All Out. Poor Fuego! All in all, a very easy watch. The time flew by. |

Having Giannis at ringside for the match just added to the big time feel and truly made AEW look like the cool show in town. Smart move to get him to appear. The Miro/Eddie angle was also solid. The main event was mostly comedy more than a quality match and to build up Christian. The All Out card is stacked beyond belief. Can? t wait for next Sunday. |

Hat richtig Spaß gemacht. Danach gibt es ein gutes Videooaket zu Punk und Allin sowie einen netten Brawl zwischen Kingston und Miro. Das Match dürfte auch ziemlich nice werden. Bunny vs. Tay Conti war solide, muss man nicht gesehen haben und der Main Event war auch ganz in Ordnung, um die Story nochmal voranzutreiben. Insgesamt wieder eine ordentliche Show. |

Concerned about the future of the "good wrestling" the Elite promised in AEW. |

Meine Güte haben die beiden Teams es sich gegeben in feinster US-Indy Manier, haha. Der Opener war auch so ziemlich das einzige was man bei den Matches an hoher Qualität bekommen hat und das war auch gut so! Obwohl Christian als Gegner von All Out nicht mal annähernd so spannend wirkt wie es Hangman gewesen wäre, muss ich sagen gefällt mir das Programm doch ganz gut. Auch hier, der Main Event war kein Leckerbissen und Kazarians Elite Jagd bisher nicht sonderlich exciting, aber es hat einfach ganz gut gepasst. Das Tay's Siegesserie an Bunny geopfert wird, Umstände hin oder her, ist dann auch so ne Sache. Mal schauen was All Out bei den Damen an Richtung bringen wird. |

None of the main eventers tried all that hard in the main event - this was a filler match to promote the upcoming title bout, but at least Brandon continues to be hilarious in his jobber role. This show is worth watching for the incredible opener alone, but after that it feels like everything else was thrown out there just to take up space. |

The message is clear: "We don't think anyone will be watching anything other than the first 20 minutes so we won't even try with the rest". Less than 15 minutes of worthwhile TV on a 60-minute show. The opener wasn't bad but also not quite good enough to warrant wasting an hour of your life for. If you're curious, watch the opener and skip everything else. Other than that, there are still issues in the commentary booth. Excalibur is good when they aren't having him read announcements for several minutes throughout high-paced openers, but you could hear his voice start to crack from it being his second show of the night. Jericho is for some reason a heel on commentary and Mark Henry has not taken to the role well. He needs work and experience but I also wonder if he'd be doing better in a smaller booth. He doesn't know how to enter the conversation right now with so much going on. Taz is still good. |
