Die besten Matches waren Jungle Boy gegen Dax Harwood und das Main Event zwischen den Good Brothers, Young Bucks und Dark Order. Auch Eddie Kingston gegen Lance Archer war nicht schlecht, auch wenn es ein uncleanes Finish gab und somit vielleicht noch einmal auf diese Paarung zurückgegriffen wird. Ryan Nemeths Auftritt hat mich etwas irritiert. Ich habe noch kein Match von ihm vorher gesehen, aber hier scheint sein Gimmick einfach nur eine Parodie seines Bruders Dolph Ziggler zu sein. Nicht sehr interessant finde ich die Storyline mit Matt Hardy als zwielichten Manager, in die jetzt anscheinend auch noch Adam Page einbezogen wird. Das muss aus meiner Sicht nicht sein. Page erzeugt von sich aus genug Interesse mit seinem Charisma und seinen Matches, ohne ihn in diesen Storylines zu haben. Und generell gibt es vielleicht gerade ein paar zu viele Beatdowns bei AEW. Heute sehen wir es mit Team Taz gegen die Merchandise Mitarbeiter, FTR gegen Jungle Boy und Luchasaurus und am Ende dann auch noch im Main Event. Dennoch bleibt am Ende ein sehr positiver Eindruck von Dynamite. Zwei richtig gute Matches und auch abseits von diesen einige ordentliche. Dazu sind alle Talking Segmente auf einem guten Niveau und wir sehen gute Darbietungen am Mikrofon oder Backstage.

Durchschnittliche Matches (nur Dax vs. Boy und der Mainer ragen etwas heraus), durchschnittliche Stories und auch die Zukunftsaussichten lösen bei mir eher gemischte Gefühle aus. Eine Tag Team Battle Royal für einen Titleshot bei "Revolution" an dem die Champs mit teilnehmen? Alle Teams des Inner Circle sind auch dabei? Wozu dann der ThreeWay dance von letzter Woche? Mal wieder darf ein Promi in den Wrestling-Ring. Dann auch noch mit Cody Rhodes in einem Mixed Tag Team Match. Kommt bei mir keine Freude auf.... wenigstens die Frauen könnten hier was rausholen. Sting in seinem Alter in einem Streetfight mit Cage? Nächste Woche eine Hochzeit im Wrestling-Ring? Ist eigentlich schon jemals eine Hochzeit im Ring durchgegangen? Ganz ehrlich: All diese Dinge und diverse Finishes dieser Ausgabe lassen mich befürchten, dass AEW einige "kreative" von WWE abgeworben hat. Hoffen wir das Beste!
2224.02.2021DarkPrince8.0AEW beginnt direkt mit Lance Archer vs. Eddie Kingston was ein wirklich gutes Match gewesen ist. Die Storyline wird auch gut weiter geführt (***1/2). The Inner Circle vs. The Varsity Blond's auch ein Gutes Match. Der "Judas Effect" von Jericho gegen Brian Pillman Jr. Beim Finish war extrem Stoff und was, was aufjedenfall im Kopf bleibt. Adam Page vs. Ryan Nemeth war Solide. Was aber aufeinmal Matt Hardy da zu suchen hat, weiß ich absolut nicht. Will wahrscheinlich seine "Hardy" Gruppierung rund um Die Private Party noch ausbauen, Adam Page wird jedenfalls überall gewollt. Dann kam ein Unfassbar starkes Match zwischen Jungle Boy und Dax Harwood. Jungle Boy bekommt von Monat zu Monat immer mehr Aufmerksamkeit von All Elite Wrestling und das um ehrlich zusein absolut verdient. Die Fehde zwischen den beiden Teams natürlich auch einfach stark aufgebaut. Das Women's Match war gar nix. Main Event dann ein Richtig gutes Match. Auch diese Fehde wird weiterhin gut aufgebaut und weiter erzählt (****1/2). Insgesamt eine Gute AEW Dynamite Episode.
2315.02.2021hassan018.0A very good show that I enjoyed a lot . Other than the Cody/Shaq stuff and Nemeth/Page everything else was very good . A solid tag team match in Varsity Blondes/ Inner Circle and a mediocre women's division match up but better than what we usually get . A awesome opener in Eddie/Archer , a great main event which resulted in the YB finally forming an alliance with the Elite . The MOTN however was Dax/Jungle Boy . I also liked all the backstage segments and promos . A good Mox promo , Darby/Sting segment and Team Taz terrorizing the merch salesmen and many other stuff like that . A great way to close the show as well with Fenix clearing the ground as he attacked the Elite and Mox coming to his aid and finally connecting with a paradigm shift on Kenny to close the show.

3303.02.2021Sandmann7.0Gute Dynamite Ausgabe die bis auf das Segemnt von Cody vollends überzeugen kann. Die ganze Cody/Shaq Fehde ist halt übelst langweilig und wir auch zu nichts führen. Immerhin darf Red Velvet hier glänzen und hoffentlich räumt sie dann auch Cargill einfach aus dem Weg und schickt sie zurük zu den Sachen die sie vorher gemacht hat. Los ging es aber mit einem ordentlichen Brawl zwischen Archer und Kingston. Hat mir gefallen, auch die Einwirkung von Butcher/Bunny/Blade und Jake Roberts. Hat einfach alles gut gepaßt. Das Match war ok. Guter Auftakt zu Dynamite. Das Tag Team Match war in Ordnung, schön das man das MJF/Garrison Match erwähnt hat. Jericho diese Woche mit einem guten Lionsault. War ok so. Der Zwist zwischen MJF und Guevara wird größer. Ich mag das bisher. Page gegen Nemeth ist halt da. Solides Match ohne große Highlights. Da war der Anwerbunsversuch von Matt Hardy schon interessanter. MOTN ist ganz klar Harwood gegen Jungle Boy. Das ist ein tolles TV Match mit einer schönen Dynamik. Klare Heel/Face Verteilung. Old School Heel gegen jungen High Flyer. Das hat Spaß gemacht und natürlich greifen auch alle anderen mehr oder wenig mit ein. Tolles Match. Baker gegen Shanna war sehr ordentlich. Soweit in Ordnung und ich habe Lust auf Baker gegen Rosa. Der Main Event ist dann nochmal ein schönes Chaos mit vielen im Ring und einigen Spots. Die Bucks und Goods arbeiten gut zusammen und sichern sich den Sieg. Attacke von Fenix, Moxley, Omega.. alle da und Chaos. Ich mag ja solche Enden und freue mich jetzt auf Beach Break.

Das einzige Lowlight war das Cody/Arn Anderson Segment, das war langweilig und an sich schon zu lange, davon abgesehen geht mir die Story zwischen Cody und Shaq total am ... vorbei, brauch ich einfach nicht. Das einzig Gute an der ganzen Sache ist, dass Red Velvet sich mal in etwas größerem Spotlight beweisen darf, die Promo war gar nicht mal so schlecht und hat mich nach dem Arn Anderson Monolog zumindest wieder aufgeweckt. Sonst gab es nichts wirklich Schlechtes an der Show. Jungleboy vs. Harwood und der Mainevent waren richtig stark und der Opener hat mich auch absolut unterhalten, die restlichen Matches waren auch okay bis ordentlich. Das Darby/Sting Segment fand ich nicht so gut, das von Team Taz dafür schon. MJF/Samy wird weiter gut aufgebaut und auch sonst wurden Storylines weitergesponnen oder begonnen (Hardy/Hangman). Alles in allem kann man von einer Wrestling TV-Show nicht allzu viel mehr erwarten, daher 8 Punkte. Ich bin gehyped auf Beach Break, also Mission erfüllt.

Inner Circle vs The Varsity Blonds was a very predictable match, but at least Brian Pillman Jr. and Griff Garrison looked good. Jericho's picture-perfect Lion Sault to spite his online detractors was a fun nod. Another predictable match in Adam Page vs Ryan Nemeth (who is an excellent worker, btw). The post match segment with the Dark Order was excellent, but it kinda makes me wonder about the future of the faction now that Brodie Lee is no longer with us. Jungle Boy vs Dax Harwood was definitely Match of the Night. Both worked their asses off and put on an excellent and engaging match from start to finnish. It was physical, intense and kept you guessing the whole time. Britt Baker vs Shanna, on the other hand, was the low point of the night. It went on too long, and it just showcased how green Shanna is. The main event was fine. I'm still confused with this whole mess involving The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega and the Good Brothers, and this new (kinda? ) Bullet Club (but not really? ). This storyline is certainly interesting, but it seems to be all over the place. We'll have to see where it goes. The match itself was fine, nothing to write home about, but nothing necessarily bad either. Other segments include a decent promo from Jon Moxley, and an overly long promo with Cody answering to Shaq's calling out, which, frankly, I don't care about. And Red Velvet? Really? Why are they treating her like she's some big deal? Up until a few weeks ago she was jobbing on Dark. Anyway, enjoyable show with a few rough patches.

AEW's storylines and characters are bland as usual, Cody/Shaq/Velvett/Cargil is a story no-one asked for and has been going on forever. Darby's promo was trash and just highlighted how less cool he is than an almost 62 year old dude. Jericho hitting a lionsault because people criticized him online was funny af tho.

Der Opener ist gleich eine größer aufgebaute Ansetzung und ist ein soldier Brawl, Kingston gewinnt via Eingriff seines Stables, ja hier durften beide nicht clean verlieren, aber Kingston brauchte diesen Sieg einfach, er hatte bisher alle größeren Matches verloren. Moxley liefert eine typische Promo, Sting und Darby sind vor passender Kulisse, das Match hätte man imo besser in einer Promo angekündigt, aber den großen Pop zu Stings In-Ring Comeback gäbe es derzeit leider ja sowieso nicht. Jericho und MJF gegen Varsity Blondes erfüllt seinen Zweck, am interessanten bleiben aber die Spannungen innerhalb des Inner Circles. Die Cody Promo gab mir wenig, weder brauche ich Cody gegen Shaq noch Jade Cargill gegen Red Velvet und das ganze ist leider noch dazu furchtbar schlecht erzählt. Warum treten Jade und Shaq nie gemeinsam auf und erklären mal, welche Verbindung sie überhaupt haben und Red Velvet wurde auch nie richtig etabliert und ist jetzt einfach irgendwie mittendrin. Adam Page besiegt Ryan Nemeth und bekommt danach ein mehr oder weniger Angebot von Matt Hardy, auch das kann man in der groß angelegten Hangman Story gerne einbauen. Harwood gegen Jungle Boy war ein gutes Match, endlich bekommt der Jungle Boy mal wieder so eine Performance, das freut mich zu sehen, auch wenn ihm die ganze Story mit FTR generell recht wenig bringen wird. Britt Baker zeigt das erwartbare Match, diesmal gegen Shanna und am Ende wird Thunder Rosa nochmal gehypt. Immerhin zeigt man aber die Frauen, für das Turnier wird man einige brauchen, erst recht wenn man in der ersten Runde schon die Mega Ansetzung mit Riho und Serena raushaut, das hat potential zum beste AEW Women's Match bisher zu werden. Der ME ist solide, überraschend gut kommen die Bucks und Good Brother miteinander aus und es gibt sogar das Too Sweet mitten im Match, die Dark Order bleiben hier auch Jobber und es gibt keine größeren Eingriffe bis eben nach dem Match, als man nochmal Omega, Fenix und Moxley aufgreift. Die Bucks werden vermutlich die Good Brothers um den Titel herausfordern und das wäre wohl auch das passendste Match derzeit.

4330.01.2021marexcel5.0Im Opener stört mich vor allem die Verteilung der on top-Phasen. Archer mit errechneten 70% on top ist dann einfach zu dominant, wenn es gegen einen Mann wie Kingston geht. Schön, dass es mal eine seriöse Big Man-Matchstruktur gibt, aber leider für die falsche Konstellation gewählt. Das Finish hätte Archer doch genug geschützt. Moxley und seinen Vortrag über seinen Getränkevorlieben haben wir mit Roman in der WWE schon gehört, aber da war die Knickknack-Zeile natürlich nicht drin. Joa, passt, gibt mir jetzt nicht so viel. Ganz wenig gibt mir das Segment um Allin & Sting. Der Aufbau dafür war wirklich nicht mein Fall und so hat das für mich sehr wenig Charme. Dass Team Taz dann wochenlang in Überzahl vor Sting wegläuft, aber nun ein Merch-Teams hops nimmt, ist mächtig lahm erzählt. Jericho & MJF werden die Tag Team Ranks hochgeschoben. Passables TV-Match. Jericho muss am Ende zeigen, dass er den Lionsault doch noch sauber kann. Der Typ hat echt Issues. Amüsant. Das Promo-Video von PAC ist gut, sein derzeitiges Standing könnte besser sein, wurde seit seinem Comeback etwas unter Wert verkauft. Das schlimmste Matchup in der AEW-Geschichte fällt aus, da Brandi schwanger ist und der Ersatz ist kaum besser. Page und Nemeth mit einer müden Nummer, die Page nun auch nicht weiterhilft und so eher Vorprogramm für das Hardy-Segment war. Dessen Rolle gefällt mir gut, aber mit Page ist die Verquickung nicht so mein Fall. Schönes Match zwischen Dax und Jungle Box. Immer schön, wenn bei AEW gezeigt wird, dass man doch noch weiß, woher Wrestling eigentlich kommt. Gutes Ding! Baker und Shanna mit einer recht langweiligen Nummer, die klar erkennbar nur als Vorprogramm für den Rosa Run-In benutzt wurde. Main Event wieder mit der typischen Spotfest-Action und den typischen Problemen dabei. Offensichtliche Kooperation etc. Aftermath ist okay, so wie letztendlich die gesamte Show, auch weil Jungle Boy und Dax Harwood das längste Segment der Show bekommen haben.

I groaned out loud when they said the Cody/Shaq thing won't be resolved until at least March. Anything Cody is turn-the-channel heat right now. Jungle Boy's new theme has probably ruined his matches forever.
4729.01.2021Sebastian V7.0Der Opener war in meinen Augen kein überkomplexer aber ein anständiger Hoss Fight. Anständig war auch das Tag Team danach, in welchem die Underdogs trotz der Niederlage eine gute Leistung zeigten. Von Jericho kam in meinen Augen in diesem Match etwas wenig. Wenig wenn auch absolut nicht schlecht gab es im Match von Page und Nemeth danach zu sehen. Es war halt auch nicht übermäßig langes und ein okayes, standardmäßiges TV Match. Dann folgte mit Jungle Boy gegen Dax Harwood jedoch mein MOTN. Das war ein Match mit einer recht einfachen Prämisse von physischer Favorit gegen dynamischen Underdog aber beide waren in ihren Rollen echt gut und das war stark erzählt. Das war ein gutes Match. Baker gegen Shanna im Co ME hatte dann zwar nicht die größte Heat, war aber wrestlerisch durchaus vorzeigbar und insgesamt solide. Das ME war dann nochmal ein wirklich guter Abschluss der Show. Ein gelungener Mix aus Physis und Dynamik, wobei alle Beteiligten was zeigen konnte und ihre Rollen gut ausfüllten. Abseits des reinen In Ring Geschehens war noch ganz interessant was mit Hardy und Hangman passiert, die Promo von PAC ist gut und die Story von den Bucks und Omega/Callis entwickelt sich weiter. Da war jetzt nichts Überragendes bei aber alles nicht uninteressant außer vielleicht Darby und Sting, was etwas verwirrend war. Wrestlerisch stachen die angesprochen beiden Matches heraus. Insgesamt ist das in meinen Augen keine überragende, aber eine mehr als anständige, unterhaltsame Show, welche 7 Punkte verdient.

6428.01.2021WeHateOkada7.0A solidly enjoyable episode of Dynamite, with a few lukewarm moments counterbalanced by a few over-achieving matches. The opener was just okay, but given that the programme is clearly continuing, a little tease to further the build-up is perfectly acceptable. Sting & Darby's promo was the low-point of the night - a somewhat misconceived premise that was awkwardly performed - but the story was revitalised by the killer Team Taz segment later in the night. The Inner Circle tag match was simply but entertaining stuff - the winners looked good, Garrison looked good, and Pillman was perfectly alright. PAC cut an absolutely fantastic promo, and then Cody, Arn & Red Velvet followed it up with a pretty decent one. Nemeth was fun in his squash appearance, and seeing as Hangman and Hardy are two of the best characters in AEW right now, I'm looking forward to where that angle goes. Jungle Boy vs Harwood really, really built in its final stretch - it could have maybe done with some trimming in the middle but it was more than made up for by the exciting final few exchanges. Baker-Shanna was mediocre, honestly, and there's very little else to say about it. The main event was a total blast - fast paced action from eight excellent tag specialists, this was a treat from start to finish. High athleticism backed up by strong character work; can't ask for more than that. tl;dr - go out of your way to watch the main event and Jungle Boy vs Hardwood, and the rest of the show is mostly a good time too.

Enjoyed the show pretty well except for a few small things, I'm far from sold on the idea of that Cody/Shaq and the Omega storyline isn't grabbing me too much, but all in all good stuff. Special props to Kingston vs. Archer and JB vs. Dax, some great stuff there.

Even Page vs Nemeth, which was a nothing match, came with a nice Page showing and segment with Matt. But the promos were all good to great tonight and the matches were really good. Kingston/Archer opened the show hot. IC vs Varsity Blondes was a nice and easy tag to keep the show going, good showing from VB. Jungle Boy/Dax was fantastic and lived up to the hype. Just a tremendously worked TV match ****1/2. Britt/Shanna was good, nice to see Shanna back on Dynamite. And then the main event was a super fun tag. Just a throughly enjoyable and easy watch with a ton of good stuff and great build to the future

7828.01.2021kaschi7.0Gute Ausgabe von AEW Dynamite mit ein paar ordentlichen Manches. Opener hat mir richtig gut gefallen und es hat auch der richtige gewonnen. Dax vs Jungleboy war auch richtig gut und der Main Event auch stark. Mir gefällt Sting und Darby zusammen und freue mich auf denn Street Fight.

8128.01.2021Grissom8.0Archer vs. Kingston war genau das was man erwarten konnte von beiden. Ein Badass Brawl mit einigen harten Aktionen. Jericho kann doch noch einen perfekten Lionsault. Match war solide. Um Hangman scheinen sich alle zu reißen. Erst Dark Order, nun auch Money Matt Hardy. Er wird sich natürlich auch Matt nicht anschließen und seinen Lone Cowboy Weg weiter gehen. Als Übergang geht das aber klar. Dax Harwood vs. Jungle Boy hat man bei Road to ordentlich gehyped und dem ist das Match auch gerecht geworden. Das Aftermath war dann auch gut inszeniert. Match der Show. Baker vs. Shanna fand ich ok, es gab aber schon bessere Women's Matches bei Dynamite. In erster Linie diente es aber Rosa vs. Baker weiter voran zu bringen. Beim Mainer war dann mehr die Promo hinterher interessant. Die Bucks könnten die Battle Royal gewinnen und sich ihre Gegner aussuchen. Schwachpunkt der Show war für mich die Cody Promo. Mich interessiert ein Match gegen Shaq nicht besonders. Promo von Moxley war gut, sowie die Retro Promo von PAC mit dem alten TV/VHS Gerät. Sting und Darby gingen auch klar und beide müssen nicht wild rumschreien um sich Gehör zu verschaffen. Das angekündigte Riho Comeback ist auch begrüßenswert. Overall eine gute Dynamite Show und deutlich besser als in der letzten Woche.

Enjoyed the Inner Circle developments, Dax/Jungle Boy was great as well as the post match, the main event was exciting (shoutout to the Dark Order for morphing into such great babyfaces), and the Interactions between Matt Hardy and Adam Page were intriguing.
8328.01.2021SiticEye6.0For the record, I would give this show a 7/10, but holy fuck, the 9. 06 rating is absolutely insane so I'll bring it down a smidge. After last week's disappointing show with terrible booking, they really stepped it back up with this show. The opener (while had technical difficulties, but full match on youtube) was a really good brawl that continues the feud. The next two matches were filler but were okay overall. Then, we had the great match of Dax Harwood vs Jungle Boy, which was a great show of technical and smooth wrestling that gives Jungle Boy a big win, but not too big. Baker vs Shanna was fine but the return of THUNDER. ROSA. was cool. Then we had a very fun spotfest main event that showed the Dark Order as an absolute unit. Most of the promos were good, but this Cody/Shaq thing is just fucking terrible. A fun show.

8528.01.2021xDEDANx7.0Die bisher beste Dynamite Ausgabe in diesem jungen Jahr. Jungle Boy vs. Dax Harwood und der Main Event konnten mich gut überzeugen und dir kleinen Twists in der Story um Omega und den Young Bucks gefällt mir doch besser als noch vor zwei Wochen angenommen.
8628.01.2021dillonmatthews8.0(Only segment I skipped through was Cody's in-ring) Matches ranged from decent to great, but the whole show was glued together by excellent promos, video packages and angles: B&B&B cheating Archer and Jake; morning-sex Moxley; Hoodlums Sting and Darby; PAC; the build-up package to JB vs Dax; Thunder Rosa chasing off Britt; MJF and Sammy; the GB/YB pre-match; and Moxley and Fenix laying out the ELITE. All in all a really smooth show.

9328.01.2021Bearcatfan4life10.0Fantastic show that has me completely psyched for Beach Break. The Jungle Boy/Dax match and the main event were equally great in different ways. Jungle Boy/Dax was more of a scientific wrestling match, with lots of holds and counters, mixed in with the flying and athleticism of Jungle Boy. This was about making him a star and giving him a big win. Mission accomplished. The main event was just a wild chaotic match, which really showcased how good Stu Grayson and John Silver are. Who does a better hot tag than Silver right now? The post match angle was also beautiful and Omega sold it like a champ. Also enjoyed the build to the street fight, complete with a Rey being thrown off a production truck Nitro callback angle. The Page and Matt Hardy interaction was also interesting. All in all, so much good stuff. The show flew by. I love this promotion.

Varsity Blondes continue to look good and I got a kick out of Jericho's Lionsault. Page/Nemeth was fine, the main point seemed to be getting Matt Hardy involved in Page's storyline which could be good. Jungleboy vs Dax Harwood was absolutely incredible, I completely bought into every second of it. Shanna vs Britt Baker was okay, I feel like they need to give the women a little more time for their matches to have more progression and story to them. Main event was awesome, I love the Dark Order face turn, Stu Grayson and John Silver in particular looked awesome. The post match stuff was also good, Rey Fenix and Jon Moxley is a team I never knew I wanted. There was also some solid storyline stuff between the matches and Riho vs Serena Deeb was announced which could be awesome. A much needed great show after the last couple weeks which were weak.
