1 | 08.11.2020 | ElPolloLoco | 6.0 | A stinker of an opener who reminded me once again why for me Antonio Honda is better in small doses followed by spells of complete abstinence. And that sock puppet has overstayed its welcome. The second match was not that good: I don't like An Chamu (a lesser Mina Shirakawa, which says it all) and Mei Suruga was understandably saving herself for her TJPW debut, so the match was basically used to further the Pencil Army storyline. Which leaves the main event, which was another feather in the cap of Yuna Mizumori. Tokiko Kirihara's offense looks flashy due to her MMA background but she's too old of a dog to learn new tricks and needs somebody to build the match for her. Yuna Mizumori did that for her, and that's in spite of little experience and the fact I suspect 15 minutes is about as long as she can go before being out of breath. It's a pity she's a part-timer because she would really deserve more exposure than two niche promotions such as GTMW and AgZ. |
