[6.0] "Die WWE ehrt im Einspieler ihre Streitkräfte, während Gargano Respekt für sein Glücksrad fordert. Der ganz billig manipulierte Käse wirft dann Ruff als Contender raus. Das hat sich Johnny Spin-the-wheel aber dann ganz anders vorgestellt, denn abgelenkt durch Damien Priest verliert er den Titel in Rekordzeit. Nach einem Wutanfall von Gonzales spielen sich bizarre Szenen am Ring ab. Ist das ein Ritual? Thatcher handelt sich backstage Ärger mit Lumis ein. Ich bin etwas enttäuscht vom folgenden Match der Damen, immerhin holt man danach mal wieder die Scream-Maske aus dem Schrank - 20 Jahre, nachdem sie mal hip war. Und überhaupt, warum maskiert man Indi Hartwell, die kennt doch im NXT-Universum sowieso kaum einer? Thatcher, Lumis und auch Grimes machen das direkt danach schon okay, während McAfee sich fast an einer Rock-Catchphrase vergreift. Immerhin folgt ein angemessener Mainer, der den Clash des Trüppchens von McAfee mit der ERA weiter vorbereitet. Eine überwiegend solide Show insgesamt."
[5.0] "What a cool opening match with funny background and Priest's comedy skills. Priest was true gold in this segment. Leon has a great wrestling style - it's so innovative. He sacrafices a lot and he took some heavy beating in this match. Gargano finally got what he deserved. I hate this guy. What I didn't like about this show was the fact that out of 5 matches, only 2 of them ended fair way. The rest was interruptions, unfair pinfall or some other outside interference. More than 50% of all matches that night ended this way."
[7.0] "Johnny Gargano und seine Räder. Das Glücksrad ist offensichtlich gezinkt und Leon Ruff war der erklärte Wunschgegner von Herrn Wrestling, dann kam jedoch Priest und alles anders. Schöner Upset, der eine Unberechenbarkeit ins Programm bringt, die NXT qualitativ durchaus von der Konkurrenz absetzt. Ruff ist eine interessante Wahl und auch wenn sein Run kurz werden dürfte, ist das eine feine Sache, die zu allen Beteiligten passt. Priest wächst derzeit am Mikro und mit seiner Präsenz zu einem Main Event Player heran. Starke Erscheinung. Atlas und Escobar liefern ein ordentliches Match und eine gute Fillerstory. Die Verflechtungen um Thatcher und Lumis sind ganz gut gemacht, das Match ist solide und die Attacke von Grimes gegen Dexter ist durchaus giftig. So bockt die Midcard. Die Story um Xia Li & Co gefällt mir weiterhin, so mysteriös sie auch bleibt. Raquel kann das noch nutzen, um ihr Profil zu schärfen. Win-Win! Toni und Candice liefern einen knackigen Gruß aus der stark besetzten Damen-Division. Dass das Title Picture dort nur mit einem Prime Target-Video präsentiert wird, ist bei der irren Besetzung schon fast schade - so gut die Videos aber auch sein mögen. Indi Hartwell als maskierte Person ist nun keine Überraschung, aber generell halt eine interessante Besetzung und Rolle. Ciampa möchte das NXT-Roster aufmischen und das hat er dann Pat McAfee und Co gemeinsam. Lässige Promo und ein ordentliches Main Event zum Ende der Show. Drake in the mix ist okay, aber nichts, was die Show nun qualitativ nach vorne bringt. Wenn TakeOver Anfang Dezember Bestand haben sollte, darf da ruhig etwas mehr passieren. Die Ausgabe fand ich dennoch gut. Kurzweilig und kompakt auf den Punkt."
[7.0] "An ok episode this week. Very weak compared to the momentum gathered from the last 2 weeks. The main event , Cruiserweight title match and Candice/Toni were some really good matches from a wrestling perspective. I hate the fact that they put the title on Ruff and Lumis/Thatcher was a average match . However we got some storyline advancements like the revelation of the mysterious masked figure in Indi Hartwell (not that we did not expect it) . Shotzi/Candice feud is picking up the heat and Grimes post match attack was one of the better things on the show to watch as well. NXT going through some hard times and I wish they can get past it ."
[7.0] "Es geht hier los mit einem Gargano, der ein manipuliertes Rad dreht, um seinen Titel gegen die vermeintlich leichten Gegner Leon Ruff zu verteidigen. Aber Hochmut kommt bekanntlich vor dem Fall und so kommt es zu einer der größten NXT Überraschungen überhaupt und Leon Ruff gewinnt den Titel, wobei auch Priest eine Rolle spielt sodass dessen Fehde gegen Gargano gepushed wird. Als Match nicht wirklich erwähnenswert aber ein gelungener Angle. Als Match durchaus erwähnenswert ist das Cruiserweight Title Match. Ein mehr als anständiges Non Stop Action Match zeigen die beiden hier. Mehr als anständig ist auch Candice LeRae gegen Toni Storm und sogar mein MOTN. Guter technischer Beginn, woraufhin dann auch dynamische Spots folgen. Über das Ende kann man sicherlich streiten aber es ist nicht unpassend. Indi Hartwell ist absolut keine Überraschung unter der Screammaske aber definitiv sinnvoll gewählt. Thatcher gegen Lumis danach ist technisch sicherlich ansprechend, allerdings doch phasenweise zäh. Insgesamt immer noch solide aber nicht mehr in meinen Augen. Das ME war dann ein anständiger Abschluss. Nichts spektakuläres aber handwerklich vorzeigbare Kost zweier talentierter Wrestler. Abseits des Wrestlings unterhielten mal wieder die üblichen Verdächtigen sprich Pat McAfee und Cameron Grimes. Insgesamt keine überragende aber eine durchgängig unterhaltsame, mehr als anständige Show, welche in meinen Augen 7 Punkte verdient."
[6.0] "A bit weak episode compared to usual , but a shocking opening for Ruff, Priest was hilarious ! Top 3 of the Night 3. Io Shirai 2. Santos Escobar 1. Leon Ruff"
[6.0] "It was a good show that was only marred by an absolutely baffling booking decision of putting the North American title on Leon Ruff, who was a jobber prior to this win. Gargano did a good job of selling it but it made him and the title look like a complete joke. As did Ruff who couldn? t put the belt on, or run away properly without looking like a goofball. Just a stupid idea. On the positive am looking forward to Io-Rhea very much."
[10.0] "Sehr gute Ausgabe von NXT. Der Opener war solide. Das Match ist halt nicht gut gewesen aber der Fakt das jemand wie Ruff einen Titel gewinnen darf auch wenn es nur für vielleicht eine Woche sein wird ist schon echt geil gemacht. Garganos Anfall ist auch wieder ziemlich lustig. Atlas vs Escobar war in Ordnung. Eigentlich sollte es zum Match zwischen Xia Li und Raquel kommen doch Boa kommt und wird durch Raquel total verkloppt. Daraufhin erscheint ein älterer Herr der Boa ein Symbol auf die Hand drückt. Triaden Gruppe? Die Women waren in Ordnung. Candice siegt mit unfairem Pin. Shotzi attackiert Candice doch Scream hilft ihr und entpuppt sich als Indi Hartwell was aber auch klar war. Thatcher vs Lumis war in Ordnung. Grimes setzt sein Programm mit Lumis fort. Durch dessen Eingriff gewann Thatcher dann das Match. Der Main-Event war in Ordnung. Obligatorische Titelverteidigung und weiterhin wird McAfees Gruppe stark präsentiert. Dunne hat richtig während der Corona Pause an Muskeln zugelegt. Keine Undisputed Ära weit und breit. Gute Matches. Stories wurden vorangetrieben und ein roter Faden. So macht NXT Spaß."
[7.0] "Wasn't the strongest NXT episode out there, but it started off with a jarring, yet exciting surprise and ended with a lively main event. Other highlights were the cruiserweight championship match and the prime target for Shirai/Ripley."
[10.0] "Loved this episode of NXT, Leon Ruff for NXT NA Champ well done son, was not expecting him too win and the kid deserves it the other matches and build up's were also very good"
[7.0] "Not the best NXT of the last time but we had some good matches and the train for the storylines of this period is UE vs McAfee and it's rail well"
[5.0] "What to say about the show itself... I didn't like it very much. It was very bad! Why was it necessary to drain the Gargano? What for? In the first defense... I would have understood if priest had beaten him, but he lost to a pathetic jober. The match Between lerae and Storm did not surprise me. I don't think I'll remember it tomorrow. The lumis and Grimes feud will continue. That's not bad. Well, the main event. A very good match, but it was better before."
[7.0] "Johnny Gargano is the male Sasha Banks (until recently in her case) - when he wins a title, he pretty much immediately loses it. Gargano gimmicked his wheel so that he would defend against an "easy" opponent in Leon Ruff, but thanks to Damian Priest, Ruff got the shock win to claim the North American Title in one of the biggest ever NXT upsets. The belt falling down his body because it's too big for him was really funny. The rest of the matches were of a good standard, and there was hype for Io Shirai vs. Rhea Ripley next week."
