[7.0] "Insgesamt gelungene Show von AEW.

FTR vs. Best Friends was clunky at times and didn't have that big match feel as you knew something "bigger" was looming for both teams. **1/2 Cody vs. Kassidy was a really good match, had me on my feet. The finish is somewhat contrived though ***3/4. Shida vs. Swole was a perfectly serviceable women's match between two heavy hitters **1/2. Mox vs. Archer just wasn't the war that I had expected and I felt like Mox got off a little "easy" with the finish. I knew they had to jam the entire thing into just 12 minutes and Archer may not have been in the best shape yet though. Still a worthy anniversary show."

The tag title match was a ***1/4 match that had a dirty finish, the squash was meh, and the Women's title match was the worst Shida match on AEW, although it wasn't bad overall. The TNT title match was okay for the first half, really good in the 2nd half and gets a ***1/4 or ***1/2. The main event and closing angle were great, with the match getting a ***1/2. The MJF/Inner Circle segment was up and down, the Britt Baker/Tony sketch was funny, and the rest was okay. Again, as a show, this was good. As an Anniversary show that had sky-high expectations, it was underwhelming. 7/10"

[8.0] "Solid one year anniversary show with 4 title matches. Tag titles: Best Friends with a stronger showing than expected against FTR despite no chance to win. Video game arcade cabinet spot led into throwaway Miro / Sabian squash match. Jericho / MJF segment was hilarious and it will be interesting to see where this goes. Cody vs Orange was excellent, Orange looked strong and was close to winning multiple times - interesting booking here. Injecting Darby Allin into the mix with him at ringside and promoting his title shot certainly makes the TNT title picture interesting. Shida vs Swole was forgettable; Shida needs a finisher that pops the crowd or something to up her game. Mox vs Archer had a good build up and was a decent match but had an anti-climactic ending with a rollup finish. Eddie Edwards attacks Mox after the show to take center stage. I hope Archer vs Mox isn't done because he's a legit threat. All around decent show with three meaningful singles matches and a tag team title match kept things very interesting. The announcement of next week's 4 team match up for the next tag title shot is exciting, as was the unveiling of the 8 man single-elimination tournament bracket. Nice to see the titles take center stage once again, however no Kenny / Bucks matches is frustrating. To the people crying about "nO TiTle cHaNgeS", I'm pretty sure there's another show or two on TV every week where you can see title changes on every show, if that's your thing."

Merkwürdiger Vibe in der Show.

[9.0] "I'm perplexed by some of the reactions to this show. It wasn't perfect, but to act like it was mediocre is truly bizarre. The opener was very good and would've been truly great if not for that weird spot with Trent running into the Kipper's video game. I get why they did it, they just lingered on it for too long and kind of stalled the match (I had no issues with the finish, which was an extension of what FTR has been doing in all their recent matches). Miro and Kipper's squash made Miro look like a beast, exactly what AEW should've done the first time around instead of the match with Kiss and Janela. MJF and the Inner Circle had what would've been one of the funniest segments of the year if it wasn't then immediately topped by Britt Baker and Tony Schiavone at the day spa. An uproariously great segment. Cody vs. Orange Cassidy was super; the match with Brodie last week was better but this was another tremendous Cody performance and in my view the best work of Cassidy's in AEW. The draw turned out to be a great call and the Dark Order stuff and Darby watching from the stands also worked. The tag segment served its purpose. Swole vs. Shida was fine, but it was definitely the weakest match on the show. And the main event was a borderline great affair with Moxley and Archer delivering yet again, with AEW going above and beyond to make Archer look on the level with Moxley only just escaping with a fluke roll up. The post match setting up Kingston-Mox II was also tremendous, but then again what isn't from Eddie these days? Again, not perfect, but three of the five matches were good to great, the storytelling was strong and the show felt like a big event. Weird that a show like this will likely be underrated."

[5.0] "A disappointing show but not a truly bad one. The opening tag title match was good but nothing special - both teams are highly skilled and what they do and they both competently (if not any more than that) displayed their prowess. The Kip & Miro squash was fine; Miro looked like a beast apart from one unfortunate slip, and a feud between these two and Best Friends should be something to look forward to. The MJF-Jericho segment was funny and interesting as always, but it really does feel like they're dragging this confrontation out. Cody-OC was fantastic, their clashing styles making for a really unique match that's worth a watch. Cody's booking is still strange and slightly frustrating, but it when it results in consistently quality matches, it's kind of hard to argue with it. Shida-Swole was poor, unfortunately - as much as I like Swole as a character, she really seemed to drag down Shida's usual consistency and this ended up being a mildly regrettable match, although nothing downright terrible. Moxley-Archer was definitely a let down, given the importance of the match and their previous match this year. It's not a bad match at all, just a completely unremarkable one, which is especially damning giving these two wrestlers' propensity for hardcore. The finish didn't really make anybody look good either, although at least the post-match angle shows that we're getting more from Eddie Kingston. This show wasn't a bad watch or anything, and the TNT title match is worth going out of your way to see, but as a celebration of Dynamite's first anniversary, this felt quite flat."

FTR/Best Friends **** Great match. Great opener, loved it. Best Friends are really good. Miro/Sabian *1/2 I give that 0. 5 just because it was a fun squash, but nothing else. Cody/Cassidy ***3/4 Maybe Cassidy's best match in AEW. Darby for Full Gear seems like the right step. Shida/Swole ** Maybe the humidity, but they were sloppy and tired 5 minutes in. Moxley/Archer **** Another great match, in this episode the quality in ring surpassed storylines. A physical war that was booked perfectly, Archer is a monster."

Thank God he was on mute for half the main event. Orange Cassidy had his most watchable match for AEW thanks to Cody and Shida had her worst match ever, acknowledgments to Big Swole. The main event was fine but once again nothing memorable. FTR/BestFriends (7) Sabian&Miro/Johnson&Maluta (0) Cody/Cassidy (4. 5) Shida/Swole (3) Moxley/Archer (4. 5)"

I HATED Miro destroying BFs on Kip's orders, he shouldn't just be a lackey. But then the next match made him an absolute killer as he ate some jobbers for dinner... Baker's segment with Tony was fun... OC Vs Cody had it's moments but otherwise, meh match that was dragged to a draw... Don't care to see any more Sammy Vs Hardy... thought the match announcement for the fatal 4 way was too long and too predictable, especially the Bucks laying out people. Bucks will definitely win... Jericho and MJF segment was extremely rough to watch... Shida Vs Swole, yep. It happened, about all to say about it... Lance Vs Mox, no where near their NJPW match but protected Archer in defeat and he ate several finishers so it's not as bad of a start/stop to his momentum as Vs Cody was. post match I dug Kingston saving Moxley from Archer just to beat up Moxley himself. Maybe a triple threat at Full Gear.. AEW went in hoping for their best episode ever and what we got was mid-tier at best. But now the road to Full Gear is on."

The finish was a little strange but it didn't ruin it by any means. The women's title match had some sloppy moments but Shida worked really hard and Swole brought her best effort yet. Cody vs. Orange Cassidy was awesome and perfectly booked. That match more than any other showed how much of a babyface star OC is. The main event was great too. Nothing on this show was bad and in fact the in-ring work was some of the better quality by Dynamite's already high standards."
