Only two matches here because of the length of the Iron Man match but they are both great with Randy Orton becoming the Number 1 contender at Summerslam in an excellent battle royal match and Triple H vs Benoit wrestled an outstanding 60 minute Iron Man match that was really physical, well paced and well structured where it didn't feel like we lost too many important moments in the commercial breaks. The overbooking at the end does weaken it compared to something like the Angle/Lesnar match a year before, but it's still an excellent match and far better than their PPV clash. |

The iron match while definitely good, just missed something to be very good as opposed to just being good. The battle royal saw Orton win which was nice to see him get rewarded for a SummerSlam title match after all the work he's put in this year. |

Das war der Moment wo Orton in den Main-Event gelangt nach einer langen Regentschaft mit dem Intercontinental Titel. Jericho und Edge wurden sich nicht einig und Edge wurde eliminiert. Orton geht zum Summerslam und darf den Champ herausfordern. Als Randnotiz waren das Macks und Palumbos letzte RAW Auftritte die aber sowieso in der Versenkung verschwunden sind. Der einzige Makel dieser fast perfekten Show war das Flirt Segment mit Kamala und den Diva Search Teilnehmerinnen. Furchtbar. Benoit vs Triple H war sehr gut. Nicht das beste Ironman Match aber sehr stark. Triple H lag zwischenzeitlich mit zwei Punkten vorn aber der Champ dreht den Spieß noch mal um und gewinnt ganz knapp vor Ende trotz der Einmischung von Evolution aber durch Hilfe von Eugene. |

Nette Battle Royal zu Beginn mit einer guten und spannenden Schlussphase sowie einem gut umgesetzten Ende. Das Ironman Match war ebenfalls eine runde Angelegenheit, auch wenn es etwas brauchte, um in Fahrt zu kommen. Dennoch ein vor allem in der zweiten Hälfte ein sehr gutes Match. Insgesamt eine gute RAW Ausgabe. |
