Yuya Aoki (c) -vs- Fuminori Abe - (BJW Junior Title) [** 3/4] Cool BJW Junior Title match. Definitely gave the right rub for Aoki doing his best to brush off Abe's snappy offense. Wish they'd up'ed the pace even more to suite the strengths in their styles, but what we got was still good. Daisuke Sekimoto & Kohei Sato (c) -vs- Yuko Miyamoto & Isami Kodaka - (BJW Tag Title) [***] Kodaka working over Sekimoto's arm was the key thing making this main event come to life. Not that the rest of the work wasn't on par. It's just that age is creeping up on these guys, so a lot of the x-factor is lacking. Still the best battle of the show and one with plenty to love. |
