| 2 | 10.02.2020 | rykejamal | 9.0 | I sure enjoy when DEFY puts up full events on demand. Easy to review. An excellent match starts the show as James and Knight really go at it. James was vicious here but Knight really shone. Bright future. Rebel Kel vs Kikyo was better than expected. Kikyo didn't grow on me much but Kel was really good here against the bigger opponent. A fine match right here. Red vs Fatu was a fantastic big man/small man match. The styles clashed well and Red gave Fatu a run in this one. Fatu was vicious in his offense. Give this one a watch. 6 man tag was really fun and had some great action, particularly from the younger folks. CIMA and Sydal were the veterans and they were just as great. High impact action in this one. The street fight was pretty solid but was not the expected match, considering how Samael performs in this environment. Main event was great and a good way to cap off the event. Lawlor looked good in defeat and even had a chance of winning. Schaff continues to dominate. Aftermath with Hammerstone sets things up nicely going forward. A really good show, with two fairly solid matches, and four crackers that need to be watched. |
